Love my new wardrobe (grey cleo with sliding door) - perfect size and very spacious! Very quick delivery and assembly!

My order was processed / delivered and assembled within a fortnight. The whole process was very straight forward.

The two fitters arrived on time, and got straight to work. I live in a second floor flat, so there was some lifting required, this wasn't an issue. The furniture was built within two hours, the rubbish removed and the room left organised.

The quality of the furniture has far exceeded my expectations, it matches a similar set of furniture I had looked at which would of cost an additional £1,750!.

From my experience, I would recommend Instrument on both the quality of the furniture and the delivery / installation team who did an excellent job. Nice on guys!

Really great experience overall! Bought one of the bi-folding wardrobes and love it.

Had a bit of a hiccup with me making a mistake for my address which they resolved without me feeling like an idiot.

Quite convinced that they write their own reviews. Dreadful experience. Thought I would try them, as I believed the hype of their website. Their cool website and claims of being a better flat pack alternative, are a brilliant way to lure a customer in. Once you’ve paid your money, they’re no longer interested in you. They advise you that they will be in touch within 15 WORKING days with a delivery date. And they cut that 15 working days very fine. Then you wait another 3 weeks for the ACTUAL delivery date. I opted for the £220 assembly as well. BIG MISTAKE, HUGE! They provided me a delivery slot of between 12pm and 5pm. Then updated on the day with an arrival time of 13:30. 13:30 came and went. Checked their link for the arrival tine, and it changed to 15:30. 15:30 came and went. At 16:41 I received a message as follows: “Hello , its dako furniture delivery, we are on the way to you , should be there with in the next 30 minutes , Thank you.” I’m guessing they didn’t update the time link as there must be a business agreement between Dako and Instrument. You will note in the message, there was no apology. And you’re right, there wasn’t. And when the two assembly men finally turned up at 17:21, there was still no apology. Just a request for drinks. About 10 minutes in to their assembly, I heard the distinct sound of a heavy item being dropped, and the smash of what sounded like a wardrobe mirror smashing. About 20 minutes after that I was called. One of them showed me the smashed mirror, and said “we opened it and it was already like that”. He then said “you need to call the office tomorrow and get it sorted out”. When I said to him that I had heard him drop it and break it. He looked shocked that I had seen through his lie. I’ve emailed Instrument to complain, and they have shown little to no interest. You can’t speak to an actual person. The chat facility person only gives advice on furniture. And when you get an email, it’s from Instrument; no one is willing to put their name (speaks volumes). They have finally sent me another anonymous email advising that the replacement wardrobe door will be 5 - 6 weeks. Unsurprisingly, it’s so vague that it could mean that THEY receive it in 5 - 6 weeks, then we go through the same charade of my actual delivery. Avoid this company if you value your time and money. If not, pay by PayPal, so you can at least apply for a refund for services not provided. And if you’re still not convinced that they can’t commit to a decent service, note from the website that there is only SIX of them. Lesson learned; cool looks, doesn’t equal great service.

**UPDATE** Having read the very quick response to this review (shame they’re not that quick with their emails). The throw away “apologies” sentence, isn’t really an apology, if it’s followed by lots of irrelevant excuses. So it seems, I didn’t make it clear; IT WAS THE ASSEMBLY MEN THAT BROKE THE WARDROBE DOOR! AND THEY LIED ABOUT DOING IT! AND THEY DIDN’T APOLOGISE!

And sticking at the bottom of your response about emailing the management, is again poor customer service. You know my email. How will you make this better? You won’t. You will just come back with irrelevant ‘perfect’ scenarios.

We all know that mistakes like, people turning up late and employees smashing wardrobe doors, happen in life. It’s how you deal with them after that counts. And the way you’ve dealt with this is dire.

From the day I placed my order until the day my wardrobes were fitted Instrument Furniture were brilliant. Two great guys came along yesterday and put the wardrobes together. They were both very friendly and efficient and did a superb job, leaving everything tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

I have tried to obtain refund and I have called every number this company lists. A are disconnected. Or a mobile no answer. I would like to say , this company has now done everything to help with this order, to which I appreciate. I look forward to receiving our beautiful wardrobe.

Our Instrument Furniture (Sienna Wardrobe, Bedside Cabinets and FLEX 5 Drawer units) were installed yesterday.

I am absolutely overjoyed with this furniture and also with the installation team from PIPS Logistics Co UK who were so quick, professional and friendly.

Following a long wait for my custom made furniture (ongoing supply/logistics problems, totally out of Instrument Furniture's control) our bedroom is finally finished and I am so HAPPY we found Instrument Furniture.

Everything, from order placement to delivery/installation, has been handled superbly by the Instrument Furniture Team (and PIPS Logistics).

LOVE the look. Is a glorified Ikea project that if you move God Help YOU. They have no regard for re-installing and refuse to send support even with an offer to pay. Buyer is fine as long as you never move.

Amazing customer service and the staff were helpful. It looks good quality, and it was fitted with no hassle or problems. We are happy with the wardrobe.

We have had a really poor experience with Instrument. We ordered a £1.5k wardrobe which took 12 weeks to arrive! When it did arrive all the doors were damaged and the incorrect top was delivered (we paid £250 for the correct top)

The correct/repaired parts were ordered and have now arrived 6 weeks after the wardrobe was originally fitted. The £250 LED top has arrived with an EU plug and the mirror that was originally installed on the doors was not replaced on the new doors. In addition the delivery men have damaged our roof and walls in the process and the customer service has been relatively unhelpful.

All in all this wasn’t the experience we were expecting from such an expensive purchase and as a first time customer I wouldn’t be recommending Instrument or using them again.

I have just had a granny annexe built in the bottom of my garden a part of which your wardrobes are required for. Ive had a number of tradesman and deliveries in to make this happen and I have to say that some companies do not have the customer skills that you guys have shown! From the easy use of your website, the delivery booking, the delivery guys to the emails helping to sort a problem with the door! You’ve restored some faith in me!!! I really appreciate your help!

I ordered a bedroom set and have had it delivered recently. I must say I have enjoyed a positive experience from pre-purchase: virtual viewing of the product before purchase, frequent contact about delivery and then eventually having the product delivered and assembled. The furniture is modern, sleek and I absolutely love it. Would recommend instrument furniture for providing amazing products and outstanding services as well

Excellent company. Customer service is great and delivery was on time. I paid extra to have my bedroom set (3 door wardrobe, large chest of drawers and 2 beside tables) assembled for me. There were 2 men who built them for me and they were very polite and very tidy. They also removed all the packaging. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.

This is a quality company who are reliable and professional and do what they say. We ordered a large wardrobe which was competitively priced and opted for the assembly service which was on time and installed with no issue in a very quick timeframe. Would thoroughly recommend Instrument Furniture.

Beautiful and sturdy furniture set but nothing is labelled so instructions were frustrating to follow. it did arrive damaged with several scuffs/ scratches even on external panels and the drawers in the chest of drawers aren't sitting quite right though they were assembled exactly as per instructions provided.

Update: drawers have settled and had a good reply from imstrument. Updated to 4 stars.
