Not yet found the perfect role but Jack & Jill are really helping

Jack & Jill act like your AI sidekick to help you find your next job. Jack was able to surface a few jobs I was not able to find myself.

jackandjill.ai has been excellent up until this week.

'Jack', on my account at least, has entered a perpetual, conversational, rolling glitch where 'he' just repeats the same, the same, the same paragraph over and over. At the same time advising his technical malfunction has been resolved.

A few emails to the support team this week remain unanswered. I have cleared cookies, restarted, logged out and in.

In my mind it would appear to be a rather serious issue but I am not sure the creators are giving the issue the same attention! Perhaps relying on their AI to report and resolve, but he can't cos he is broken, broken, broken...

A fabulously useful tool when it works... decidedly unusable when glitching!

Really bad user experience and making wrong promises

Jack and Jill is genuinely refreshing. The level of personalisation is amazing being able to talk to Jack, explain concerns, and even vent makes the process feel surprisingly therapeutic and human. The dating-app-style interface is intuitive and far better than traditional job boards, and the matching feels collaborative rather than one-sided. I love the clear breakdown of Location, Compensation, Culture, Role, and Skills for each opportunity, which makes deciding what’s worth pursuing much easier. The branding is clean and professional, and the transparency around pricing builds real trust. It feels like Jack is in your corner.

I’ve been using Jack & Jill while exploring a relocation to London and targeting niche early-career roles in finance and strategy.

What genuinely stands out is that it doesn’t feel like a traditional job board. Jack takes the time to understand your background, preferences, and long-term goals, then filters opportunities accordingly and keep learning. The matches feel thoughtful rather than volume-driven.

I particularly value the context provided around roles and companies — it helps with positioning and tailoring applications strategically.

For anyone navigating competitive processes, especially in consulting or finance, this feels closer to having a talent partner than just another platform.

If I wanted a poor experience, I would have just gone to a terrible recruiter.

This surely can't be the future of getting a job

Initially, I was impressed with how easy it was to have a call with Jack. He was caring, compassionate, and made me feel supported.

However, my experience quickly deteriorated. I started receiving job roles, but they didn’t really match my criteria. I provided additional feedback, but then Jack began sending roles that didn’t even exist. When I questioned this, the answers were vague, often referencing past positions or saying things like “this was your favourite company and they had this role before,” without real substance.

Some of the links to roles were empty, and other roles were completely unrelated, such as soft developer positions that weren’t relevant to my field. At one point, Jack mentioned that Jill would keep me updated on my progress and support my applications, but this never happened. When I asked about it, I received vague responses again.

Overall, it felt disorganised and unreliable. The system seems to get stuck on one or two criteria and cannot progress further. I used this for about three months, but it only added to my stress rather than helping me. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

Scam - they advertise roles on LinkedIn which don't exist. They just want to scrape candidate data. Stay away

The service is okay; the AI essentially brings you straight to the career pages on company websites. It does produce a variety of interesting roles at companies I wouldn't normally see.

However, I've found it (Jack) commonly suggests jobs that are either out-of-scope, or ones I'm unqualified for- this might be a reflection of the current job market. I've had very little progress in getting a new role so far.

Update: To the response from Jack & Jill CS
In short, no. I'm receiving fewer communications for job roles, and the roles are still unsuitable- I know I won't hear back or will be rejected from these roles based on the Job description.

It worked for me quite alright the first few months, however they recently updated (at least the jack version i am using), it is now not as engaging, and they keep omitting the previous information i've told them before. Now they are sending me random roles that are not really aligned.

Absolutely love using Jack & Jill. It’s super innovative and the potential is clear. I’ve spoken to Jack a few times, once when he was brand new and then again recently and the progress has been impressive. He’s shared highly relevant roles that I didn’t even know existed, and is removing the heavy lifting from my job search. I’d 100 percent recommend him to anyone looking for their next role.

This platform has great potential.
I've only "worked with Jack" so far, but it's been like engaging with a real recruiter. Within a couple of hours of signing up, I was emailed a few roles, all of which were relevant to my search, and included a couple of roles which I hadn't yet seen advertised elsewhere. Jack also provided some CV related guidance which was useful.
