For me, the experience so far has been great. Jack scans jobs for me according to my preferences and values - which are a somewhat non-trivial combination - and proposes relevant jobs to me. It’s not perfect, but it does provide value for me. What I like the most is that it does this proactively.

I signed up for Jack&Jill.ai expecting an AI-powered recruitment tool. What I got instead was a glitchy, confusing, unfinished product that can’t even handle a basic application process.

Their AI “Jack” crashed repeatedly, asked irrelevant questions, and then… nothing. No follow-up, no acknowledgement of my application, no feedback — just silence.

But the best part? Days later they emailed me asking for “feedback” through a 4-minute survey for a chance to win a £300 Amazon gift card.
Nothing says professional like bribing your users to pretend the system works.

If you want a polished, reliable platform to support your job search, look elsewhere.

If you want to be an unpaid QA tester for a buggy prototype, Jack&Jill.ai is perfect.

Avoid for now. They have a long way to go.

A solid 5 stars for this genius technology that made me feel like I was actually being supported and cared for. What a weird world we live in. But I have actually landed my dream role thanks to this company, so I'm very happy! I'm still chatting with Jack to find little gigs here and there.

We visited the Jack and Jill Pub for lunch on a cold and wet winters day. We received a warm welcome on arrival from the staff and an open fire. There was a good selection of home cooked meals, which were generously served. The quality of our meals was also excellent and served quickly. For example the vegetables were not over cooked. All in all, we felt that the meal was good value for money.

Better than a real recruiter. More in tune, more in touch and way more likely to respond than an Headhunter.

Barely works. Just a voice bot that wastes your time and parrots your comments. Takes so long and gets you no closer to jobs

It's completely useless. After a 45 minute call with a bot that asked circular questions, I got no job offers.

MUCH less efficient than a real recruiter, who are normally pretty terrible anyway.

Definitely avoid this complete joke of an app.

I had a great experience with Jack. I felt I was having a discussion with someone with my best interests at heart. When Jack asked me to list my superpowers I asked Jack to help me identify them. A human interviewer would frown upon that, but Jack free of judgement helped me identify them!

Excellent, I posted a role and was introduced to a handful of strong candidates by Jill the same day. It was faster and cheaper than recruiters and my girlfriend has used Jack to find niche roles so much easier than LinkedIn.

Jack is great! Super personable and helpful. Unlike recruitment agents, has the right incentives and is super improved lately.

Really like the experience of using Jack to job hunt and as a career coach. I even used it to write a scholarship application for me given it knew so much about my interests and ambitions. So much better than a normal recruiter.

This is different. And I am speaking as an Ex-Recruiter.
Why?

A) From a job seeker aspect there are so many AIs out there to "job hunt" for you and charge you out of the butt. This one doesn't.

B) I was an early USA adopter. I mean EARLY. I noticed flaws. I was sad. I sent an email over pointing out the struggles I had, not expecting to hear anything. I was absolutely gobsmacked not only to get a response, but from C-suite wanting to set up a video call to talk to me in depth about my experience! CUSTOMER SERVICE is why I am giving this 5 stars (seriously I was dumbfounded).

C) I have seen drastic updates in just the last 8 months and it keeps getting better and better. When I have seen Jack act "naughty" or start hallucinating I will tell him to report on himself (LOL) so the engineers know. It gets resolved pretty quickly.

D) My only suggestions for improvement-
*sometimes talking to Jack can get tricking with Calling/microphone issues (not all the time- sometimes) if that could get fixed, that would be amazing.
*It would also be nice if we could see a running list of jobs we applied too (they disappear after awhile).
*Lastly- this is really just me doing double checks on Jack- if he does a search and says he couldn't find anything, I would like the option to double check behind him. Some fields (like Human resources) title things really bizzare and I have caught things that were filtered out in the past that shouldn't have been. He seems to like more tech jobs than blue collar jobs (based on friends use of Jack)
*For some reason Jack still likes to send expired postings despite a rule I gave him not to do it. Not sure since he is pulling from 3rd party sites instead of direct from companies in some cases.
*Jack gets confused sometimes on geography. He was REALLY confused with USA geography months ago (drastic improvement there!) But for some reason keeps thinking Krakow and Bunos Aires are remote work eligible for USA folks (hahaha).

Extremely poor experience using this app. I signed up and created my account. Tried the initial call with "Jack" multiple times but it would not work - could not hear anything, wasn't able to respond to what I was saying. Total waste of my time. Within less than 10 minutes I'd emailed their legal team with a request to permanently delete my account and all associated personal data.

Trash company. They constantly post fake job roles everywhere just to test their platform for free with real candidates

as a recruiter with 11 years experience this platform only takes into account white collar worker jobs for tech companies , not blue , green or pink collar companies or workers very ltd, however i do like the ai bot

Very frustrating experience. No way near comparable to working with a human recruiter.

All the 5 star reviews are by candidates. Not one from a client suggesting they have found anyone by using the platform!!

As someone who uses AI all the time for work and my own interests and finds it super useful, I was curious to see this application of AI. Unfortunately, it's completely gung-ho with sharing your private/confidential data. By default it automatically sends your cv/profile to employers. The FIRST job it recommended for me was MY OWN EMPLOYER, despite me specifically blacklisting them in their settings. Shockingly bad controls for such sensitive data. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Couldn’t rate higher! Felt like the best most attentive, professional and productive conversation I’ve ever had with a recruiter! Found and secured my dream job through Jack. Will be back when looking for my next role on the career ladder and have recommended to all my friends.
