Great service with online shopping but delivery by An Post not great

Customer service extremely poor.
I originally got the wrong order,
then was told it wasn't it stock,
then was told it could be ordered,
then arranged to collect it myself in store to save the headache,
first was told the store was holding on to it for me,
then was told the store did not have it in stock,
the incorrect order was due to be collected last thursday and it was not collected until Friday (*lucky I was home),
then one part of my order came,
I reached out to say my Stanley never arrived.
Eventually got the wrong color in the end and just kept it as I coudlnt be bothered reaching out again

Compliments to the lovely staff at the Kilkenny shop in Cork city. It's always a pleasure to visit. Calm and friendly shopping.

online Kilkenny shop would not add gift tag. They would not send or divide three presents to same address separately. They could not wrap. The Manager just said "we are too busy". Maybe for one present it's ok but three presents to one address they can't deal with.The Manager wouldn't let me esculate or send feedback. I wasn't given the Directors email. My email was ignored.

Painfully slow delivery. Way beyond estimated standard delivery times. I’ve had items ordered from the US, shipped, customs cleared and delivered in half the time.

I ordered a birthday present to be delivered in Dublin. I received no notifications or communication. I chased my order up only to be told they had an issue with the stock levels on their website and 2 of the 3 items I ordered were not available. I have no problem with items not being available but the communication has been very poor.

Absolutely shocking online order service and zero replies on queries. 16 days after ordering and no sign of order and no replies to emails from them. First and last time using them.

I have purchased many times with no problem. However, when there is a problem you can't talk to anyone, well other than an outsourced telephone service that only takes messages! I have asked multiple times to get a call back, nothing! Only an AI Bot called Laura who is beyond useless! A broken item has now been accepted as norm, as after a week of conversing with 'Laura' I am ready to rub raw onion's in my eyes!!! My last email explaining I was going to write this review was replied with Great, have a nice Weekend!!! So if any human in KS would like to call me to explain why on Wednesday you could not book a courier to collect your faulty item as they were too busy, but offered again to book a courier that is too busy to collect before refunding me on Friday, I would welcome the chat. Otherwise, this company has ZERO customer service and I will not be using them again

I had to pay the courier another £79 in taxes before my order could be delivered to the UK.
My order was over £135 and so apparently I had to pay additional tax which was not highlighted to me when I purchased the item on line.
I had of course already paid tax on the goods. I was disappointed with the poor communication by KD. I would have ordered less than £135 if I had been advised of this criteria.

Ordered a charm on November 28th still not received and it’s December 5th. Tried calling customer service and no one returns calls!! Emailed loads and no response . First time ordering and it will certainly be the last

Normally have a great experience with this store. As a regular customer i placed another order 25/11/2025. on 03/12/2025 i received someone elses order and 24 hours later received an email from Kilkenny Design to say that the items on my own order were no longer in stock. The worst shopping experience.

I ordered 2 Frankincense & Myrrh candles. The smell of them is divine. Website was very easy to use. I ordered them 1st December + they arrived today 3rd December. Thank you for a very efficient service. Happy Christmas 🎄

Our mugs are absolutely stunning. They are were affordable but look so luxurious. They were shipped to the US and were packaged so well. Everything arrived in time for me to give a a gift.

Was in the store in Emmet Place Cork today, I have the say the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Asked for their names and they replied The Two Momas, it’s so refreshing to be meet such nice friendly retail staff nowadays. Keep up the good work ladies

I was a little hesitant when ordering. I was worried about the delivery which turned out great. I had purchased the sweater in a different color when I was in Ireland the end of August. I like it so much that I decided to order another one. I am so happy I did. You cannot beat the workmanship on this beautiful sweater. Everything turnout perfect.
