K&M Hearing Solutions Reviews 

This hearing aid shop is on my walk into Truro from the station so first time i asked about hearing aids out of curiosity as i wear one from morning to night to correct my moderate hearing loss but bought them from someone in London.

Kara, one of the owner partners, was really helpful, knowledgable and informative. I found they are independent and use the hearing aid brands I had found the best, such as Starkey. It seems the latest hearing aids are rechargeable but Kara fixed my hearing aid with some maintenance tools, which sorted out the problem and has saved me hundreds of pounds sending it off to manufacturers via an audiologist in London. This had been expensive and very time consuming, with 3 returns for correct repairs needed on one occasion.

Therefore having an independent hearing centre in Truro (less than 10 mins walk from station and opposite a lovely cafe) removes the anxiety I experience when my hearing aid microphone stops working. Kara also showed me a Puretone dehumidifier to keep my hearing aid free of moisture and had filters and ear drops, which can be used at night by hearing aid wearers, to buy off the shelf. Big store brands often specify not to be used by hearing aid wearers. When I have time to focus I will explore a new hearing aid from K and M as they instill about trust, which is amazing to have nearby after my decades of negative experience with hearing aid dispensers in the past.

Very relaxed and informative appt . It was adapted for my complaint at the time as opposed to what I had booked . Information was then shared with GP promptly

Called in to make an appointment, and was sorted there and then, ears cleaned! Most impressed.

I will go as far as saying the help and advice Kara gave me was life changing! I won’t detail the issues I have had but her calm, caring professionalism has enabled me to at last regain a normal hearing capacity.

I came in for some custom sleep earplugs. Kara was lovely throughout the entire process. I had some difficulties getting the right fit with one of the ear plugs, and Kara was incredibly supportive in going through the process to adjust and correct the mould as many times as necessary to get the right fit. I highly recommend K&M Hearing Solutions.

We purchased hearing aids from another high street provider, and keep going back to be adjusted and not much better.
Then we saw K&M hearing in the Cornwall living magazine and booked in for the performance review and what a difference - it is the best my hearing has been in years and the family say how much more I can catch now - I (we) cannot recommend Kara enough and when anyone mentions hearing issues I say to them contact K&M - a very professional and welcoming service , Many thanks Sue

What can I say about Kara and K&M hearing ?
I had an initial tinnitus consultation which was thorough and professional , this was then followed up with a fitting for hearing aids and also a referral to an ENT . Kara as well as being incredibly knowledgable and professional is caring , kind and made a slightly scary situation also fun with her friendly persona and a nice cup of coffee. I couldn’t recommend Kara more , the whole experience has been fantastic.

Having put off addressing my hearing problems for too long, I feel that I struck gold when choosing K&M Hearing Solutions. Kara the audiologist is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and relates so well to her patients. I think she has found a solution to my hearing impairment which will greatly improve my quality of life and I am very grateful.

Very apprehensive when I booked but my worries were soon put to rest ...outstanding service... kara is very understanding and explained everything to me ..and then showed me why I shouldn't use cotton buds...and she makes a banging cuppa.....

Managed to get a same day appointment, really pleased to hear again! The team were all so friendly and wonderful, and had no problem with me bringing my 14 month old who played on the floor while I had the treatment. It’s so hard to juggle childcare, you often tend up putting your needs last. Such wonderful customer service, I’d definitely come again!

Kara's lovely manner aligns perfectly with her reassuring, in-depth knowledge of auditory health. Not only was my visit enjoyable, but I came away with a greater appreciation and knowledge of what it takes to be a practitioner in this field. As a male who is three score years plus, I would recommend that if you are experiencing any early signs of hearing loss, however minor, then a trip to K&M Hearing should be high on your list of things to do.

Kara was very kind and helpful! I had a blocked ear for weeks and she managed to clear it for me so I can hear again!!

My hearing was very well tested especially with background noise.Kara took a long time listening to my problems and ordered me a A1hearing aid.I can hear much better especially where there is a lot of background noise.Kara through out my appointments explained how to look after my new hearing Aid.She was very kind and helpful.

Fabulous experience getting my first hearing aids. Very professional family run and independent company. Throughly explained my hearing problems and guided me through hearing tests and hearing aid optimisation to best suit my problem.
