Family dinner for my mother's 60th birthday.
Refuced to split a table of 18s bill into 4 parts ( as it was 4 families) saying this couldn't be done due to table numbering and we'd have to sort it ourselves.
Would not serve the -Chateax brion - needs to be pre-ordered stating its said online that it needs to be marinaded 24hrs in advance - but not on menu or online
Bolognase - rough fried mince not even broken (lumpy) with Tom sauce put on top.
Steaks came PRE-CUT !!! And over cooked. Chips with steaks ( waiter argued that one portion was to share between 2 ordered steaks ,but a separate order got a whole portion.
carbonara- thin sauce ,very little pasta, seemed rushed as it came last and seemed like a soup and less than the kids portion. As an adult main.
Pizza dough was tough like chewing gum.
Canaloni was over baked . And lacked sauce underneath.
Younger staff where very good and helpful
Older staff.... waiter served over and lent on my head to place food. Attitude was rude- tossing plates down onto table.
Came out to table and loudly asked if we'd like the cake now after mains had finished- surprise ruined !
On bill overcharged for starter dishes we did not have at an additional charge in place of items we did order.
When asking for a menu to split the bill waitress walked away with a pffft from her mouth.
Then awkward attitude when questioning the total bill as it was more- wanting an additional service charge of £34.
Total bill was £325.
