I purchased most of the lighting and ceiling fans for the house we were building from Lighting New York. They have great prices, qulaity products, and fantastic customer service. Now I'm back for a "move that bus" moment project I'm working on for my sister-in-law :)

This company is outstanding. Their support staff super knowledgeable. So nice to call and have people who know what they’re talking about! And great prices too!

This company is bogus. They take your money and never ship your product. I have emailed twice and now called 3 times. The ladies are so sweet, promise a call back, say they understand and NOTHING. Do NOT buy anything from this business.

Easy to find the light I needed.

positively deceptive. I bought a lamp on the grounds that it was in stock and would ship in 6 days. Now that they have my money, it's 6 weeks

Found a bathroom light on another website, but when I went to order, it was sold out. With my bath Reno starting in about a week, I panicked, and googled the model# and SKU. LIGHTING NEW YORK was at the top of the search results, with a pic of my fixture!
Ordering was SUPER easy, and it ships in 2-3 days. PERFECT!

I've purchased 2 sconces and 2 chandeliers from Lighting New York. The pricing is great. BUT, I find searching for what I want VERY difficult. The search filters are not detailed enough. I also find the product descriptions and photos to be lacking. If you know exactly what you want and can search for it directly the site is very good. If you're browsing it takes far too much time to sift through multiple pages that may or may not contain what you're looking for since you can't easily narrow down your search. I only shop when I know the exact fixture I want.

I took advantage of their most recent sale to order 6 lights. Four of the lights we able to be discounted. The second two lights, Item #1902 AGB Beekman Light was posted at a "Close-Out" at $246.40 each and therefore, no discount. However, a simple Google search shows that $246.40 is the standard price for this item and that no other company makes mention of a sale nor Close-Out at this price. Therefore, Lighting NY is not truthful in the pricing stating that this item is already at a Close-out pricing where everyone is selling it at the same retail price of $246.40

I am not sure how I found Lighting New York but I a so glad I did! Their on-line customer service, through chat, is amazing. Any question is answered in seconds. Their search engine is efficient and ordering is simple and straight forward. I always get my order quickly and, knock on wood, have never had a problem. Customer for 2 years and counting!

I couldn’t figure out how to order a longer down rod for the light I was ordering. I used chat and they sent me the direct link to the down rod with the color I needed already selected! Easy ordering process and very helpful chat feature.

Did not like the fact that they show you a coupon code, then when you place your order, they say you cannot use the coupon code! Does not sound like a legitimate company.
