Terrible experience. Purchased 2 ceiling fans on May 20th...put together one...it was poorly defective - manufactured. Blades didn't line up perfectly. Now they say i cannot return it. I'd steer clear of this horrible company

I almost cancelled my order after seeing the reviews. These reviews are not at all what I experienced. I purchased from this website and found the sconce we wanted for about $175.00 less than everywhere else (including Wayfair). I ordered my light on Tuesday (March 28th) and had the light in my hands on Saturday (April 1st), 4 days later. No waiting 2 weeks to process, not getting shipped from China, none of the complaints I’m seeing here. Maybe they are fake complaints from rival companies, because I just can’t understand where anybody would be unhappy. Make sure you read the other reviews posted by the people posting negative comments for this company…you can see some people are just insane.
Further, the light is prettier in real life than pictured, and came with a spare crystal.

Poor website, call center and ethics. When they make an error, their customer service approach is to make you do all the work to get your $ back. Refuse to cancel order that they initiated incorrectly, refused to send return labels, refused to refund $ until they inspected return of item that was never ordered.

Sent me the wrong item and didn't work with me to get the item I actually ordered in a timely manner. Would never order from this company again.

after 5 months wait sent me broken merchandise w missing pieces when I sent it back they refused to refund me because it was damaged!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE COMPANY!!! WE PURCHASED A CHANDELIER FOR OVER $1700 IN FEBRUARY OR MARCH OF 2021. IT CAME DEFECTIVE AND GLASS PIECES WERE BROKEN. DUE TO COVID WE WERE UNABLE TO RETURN THE ITEM. MY WIFE AND MYSELY HAVE BEEN EMAILING Lindsay Boccardi AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE KEEPS PUSHING THE PARTS TO NEXT MONEY. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET TRACKING NUMBER BY 10/26 AND THERE IS AGAIN NO RESPONSE. I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO SENATORS AND MEDIA HOUSES. DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND USE SOMEONE ELSE

Had a very pleasant first purchase experience with Lighting New York. I was assisted by the online rep., Wendy Pellegrino, who price matched a table I researched on many websites. She facilitated the temporary sale price of a competitor and a little bit more, making it worthwhile doing business with them. The process was efficient, with updates on shipping information. All went smoothly and I received my table directly from the manufacturer in a timely manner. No doubt I will turn to them in the future.

Great customer service. Shipping seems a bit slow, but that is to be expected due to the Covid pandemic.

a good company which responded to my email requests for a custom shipment of a single glass shade replacement for a fixture which I broke. the shade arrived well packaged and on time. Would buy from this company again

After receiving defective item. They were ignorant and refused to refund. Terrible customer service. After 3 weeks when I disputed the cc charge they refunded.

DON'T buy lighting from LightingNewYork.com Ugly lights. And if you even put a bulb in it to see if it works you are SOL and cannot return the fixture. We bought some "copper" lights that were nothing like copper (they were an unattractive muddy dark brown color) and looked like voodoo masks with two glaring eyes. They will not accept a return at all. See other honest reviews on FaceBook.

Avoid this company. Very deceptive business practices, virtually non-existent customer service and very poor and unprofessional service once you get it! Go to lampsplus.com if you want a problem free purchase and return. I use them all the time w/my companies and they will shatter your expectations!
