The policyholder died on the 5th April…
The policyholder died on the 5th April 2026.
All banks and services were informed and yet Lloyds Bank insurance KEEP on sending requests for a renew.
I have told them over the phone to cancel the policy.
They have not received any payments since the person died as all bank accounts were frozen and now I'm getting mail addressed to the Executors of the deceased stating the policy will renew on a date next month. GOOD Luck with that as the direct debit will fail as the bank account is gone.
Trying to get through to this company to talk to anybody is like trying to get to the moon, raise the Titanic and win every lotto in the world all at once. In fact it would be easier to do all of that! NON STOP time wasting $odding messages that get repeated more than once. LLOYDS BANK INSURANCE sent this letter out on the 4th June. It arrived on the 13th June, I hope they don't take this long if someone is desperate and made a claim. Lloyds REMOVE THE ADDRESS and the Executors details from your systems. GDPR rules apply here!

Have been paying for over a decade, have tried to claim twice, both times the requests from lloyds to provide were not practical or possible, asking to contact where items were paid for further proof of purchase for an item bought 9 years ago, have since canceled policy due to paying for items you can't claim.

Very straightforward application process on line. Easy to understand and less complex questions than some others. I also telephoned as I had a couple of queries which were answered straight away. Cost was comparable with other companies and much cheaper than some.
