This service deserves a high rating for several reasons. It's undoubtedly cheap and affordable, the custom er service response time is quick, the website is easy to navigate and understand and they offer the full "package" of moving out, i.e. packing, removal, transportation, summer holiday storage and return of belongings to the same or a new location. And the packing job is done quickly. Very quickly. Almost too quickly in my experience.

I'm an International student, and due to corona I was unable to leave my country to go and pack my stuff myself. So I hired Local Student Storage to do the packing for me. About a week after this service had removed my belongings I received an e-mail from the University saying there was still stuff in my room. I got them to send me some pictures of my room and it turned out that the ones who did the packing had simply overlooked several items including a fancy shaving kit, several IKEA storage boxes and priceless personal belongings fixed to a corkboard. I had to get the Uni to send me the things left behind that I valued most. International shipping and customs fees took their toll on my bank account...

It is a really great service in many ways, but I would ask the packing personell to slow down a bit whilst packing, to make sure every item is packed and accounted for.

They understood my urgent circumstances and picked up the boxes closer to me, for which I am so grateful. Very professional, driver wasn’t answering his phone and boxes were brought late, but overall a great service considering the circumstances!

Easy pickup/storage however the team sent to collect my belongings was 4.5 hours late and did not notify me that they were going to be late at all. A little more communication would be helpful but overall good service.

The communication was great! Every time I sent an email someone got back to me very quickly. They were also very very flexible and friendly. Will definitely use again. Thank you!

Brilliant service, responsive and very helpful. Drop off of boxes and pick up later were right on time. I'd forgotten something in a box and the same day I could retrieve it without issue! I will definitely be using Local Student Storage again!

Our daughter had to leave the UK in a hurry due to COVID. I reached out to Local Student Storage and they quickly turned around a box drop off and pick up. with 72 hours they had dropped off boxes and packing supplies. They returned quickly to pick them up. Since then, we've not been able to return to the UK to retriever our items in storage. The team at LSS agreed to reach out to a carrier to have them shipped to the US for us. They took care of it all, no questions asked. I HIGHLY recommend their services as they have come to my rescue on 2 separate occasions. I cannot be more pleased.

Local Student Storage is an outstanding company. Their customer service is second to none - they dealt with all my queries and amendments to my order promptly and efficiently, and always with such good spirit. Harry’s emails displayed a wonderful ‘can-do’ attitude. Sadly, I had to cancel my order due to the coronavirus outbreak, but I will definitely use be using LSS next year and thereafter. I would highly recommend LSS to any student.
