Renting this practically brand-new car with the "Don't Worry" package was a complete pleasure, and I will definitely choose Locauto again!

old fashioned not innavative and not flexible company
Rental company doesn't accept credit nor debit cards that are saved within google wallet. They demand only plastic card. Customer cannot pay for rental with other card, only he needs to pay by a card with his name on it. I understand the rule for deposit but not for payment. Due to such an old fashion rules we received only 1 out of 2 booked and paid earlier cars. We lost money and deorganized our vacations. Only because they couldn't collect 1 eurocent deposit from card that is visible in smartphone, despite having all details on a name of renting person.
Even in supermarket you can pay through Google Wallet - Locauto not. I strongly reccomend to choose other more flexible and advanced renting companies
Just to clarify - Locauto didn't provided any information that physical card is required. We had read all regulations carefully, and there is no information at all !!! They claim they are sorry, but basically they collected twice for the car and didn't return it ! It's ridicoulus that they even answer they are sorry !

We would like to clarify that the €0.01 deposit is simply a temporary hold on your account, not an actual charge. Because using Google Wallet generates a virtual card number, our system is unable to manage the hold this way. For this reason, as stated in our terms and conditions, the security deposit must be placed on a physical debit or credit card issued in the main driver's name, even though we accept various card types for the rental payment itself.

The procedure for picking up the car at the airport took far too long. There were only two customers ahead of me, yet I had to wait for more than an hour. On top of that, when I finally received the car, it had not been cleaned.
