It feels like a scam. They initially display a much lower price than the airline, but once you've entered your details and payment information, they suddenly claim the price has increased. The new price ends up being higher than booking directly with the airline. When I booked my flights on the airline's website afterward, the price hadn't increased at all.

I was overcharged by this Travel Agency. You check the price and agree to pay. Give the cc data and at the end after you finish and comes the bad surprise. Now you talk to IA and nothing is resolved.

I just booked a flight to Vietnam from Brussels. Via Skyscanner I was transferred to the site of lol.travel offering me a nice offer. I went through the process, reserved available seats and paid the price. A few days later I got an email saying the seats on my outbound flight were not available. The seats they offer me are worse than the ones I could book on the site. They told me the map on the site was wrong and the seats were already taken. I went to the website of Vietnam Airlines directly and could see the seats I wanted were still open for booking and also the map was the same as the map on lol.travel. I asked multiple times for the right reason of what went wrong, the only answer I got was that if I did not like the proposal I should cancel my flights. A few mails later my seats on the inbound flight were also not available. I do get that maybe for a good price lol.travel can not offer certain seats, on the other hand, I do think that clear and transparent communication is essential for good customer service. Why all the vague emails and communication about wrong seat plans and the constant threat of cancelling my flights if I don't like their proposal? I would have loved a friendly and correct answer and someone who helps me to find the best offer that suits me. I felt completely pushed with my back against the wall and not respected as a paying customer.

The reservation code given to me through the voucher (I didn't receive flight ticket) does not exist within the flight company and I have been told that my departure time will change because of some issues I don't even know about and I have to pay fees for this changes and my flight reservation doesn't exist at the company website and no body replied to my emails . My flight is scheduled for Tuesday 24 December and nothing is clear about. Really i don't know what to do it seems not serious

I tried to book a flight yesterday to flight next week and got an error message about my card. I just entered to my bank account and saw that they charged me on the flight that it’s 1500euros BUT I NEVER RECEIVED FLIGHT TICKETS! I need help immediately and can’t get in touch with lol travel

Was booking a flight and after filling everything in "the flight was not availabe anymore".

Our a priori opinion is that il has been easy to book a room through LOL.Travel at Residence Inn by Marriott. Our main concern is that we would like to know wether the price we have paid on line and which is per se reasonable for NY, includes, or not, any other taxes or fees that we could potentially discover when we arrive at the hotel ....

I booked flight tickets from lol.travels and LOT website says they do not have a booking to my reference I have been trying to contact lol for an entire day now and their phones don't work. I have paid extra and purchased 24/7 assistance from them but no one yet didn't help me to resolve my problem.

I have book a flight on your website since sunday 01.12.2024 and still haven't receive the air ticket. I have call the Airline company and they said that they do not have the flight ticket either. I have already paid on your website and this is very worrying me.

I booked a flight on Saturday night to leave for London on Monday with my two children. I was extremely anxious about the booking when my booking reference wasn't working to manage my booking with British Airways. I sent an email to LOL travel (worrying it was a scam) and the escalated my issue and sent me my tickets with correct reference within the hour.

I am quite happy with the service. Time factor appropriate. Moreover it was even weekend 👍🏿

Reserve y pagué 2300€ dos vuelos con mi hijo los cuales no me dejaron salir porque tenía 2 escalas europeas y necesitaba visa cosa que al momento de comprar no te informan no hay nada que diga NO PUEDE VIAJAR POR TAL MOTIVO, de echo no entiendo cómo puede venderse algo que no se puede usar, mi destino no requeria visa por tanto si preaentan opciones de escalas no debería presentarse de la manera que no se pueda o permitan usarlas ya que Uds saben de los problemas ya que seguramente no sere la unica persona ESTAFADA buen plan para LOLTRAVEL pero los denunciaré perdí hotel seguro transporte documentos. Un total de 2700€ y reclamas y solo te hablan en italiano

I booked and paid €2,300 for two flights with my son, which they did not let me leave because I had 2 European stopovers and I needed a visa, which at the time of purchase they do not inform you, there is nothing that says YOU CAN'T TRAVEL FOR SUCH REASON, in fact I don't understand how You can sell something that cannot be used, my destination did not require a visa, therefore, if they present stopover options, it should not be presented in a way that cannot or does not allow them to be used since you know the problems since I will surely not be the only person SCAMMED. good plan for LOLTRAVEL but I will report them I lost hotel insurance transportation documents. A total of €2700 and you claim and they only speak to you in Italian
DO NOT BUY ON LOLTRAVEL.

Made a mistake on booking and I requested for a refund on which I got money back without any complications.

My flight journey was good but my luggage experience was bad. The locks were broken, the zip was broken and since it was a hard case bag the sides were all punched in. Once I reach home I will know what’s been missing.

Easy Booking and customer care.
I booked a flight for my husband. It was easy. A month later, when He was near to fly we couldn’t find the mail with the ticket. I called the customer service and they send us a copy in few minutes.

In March 2024 I had booked a travel to Turkey staying in a hotel booked via lol travel. On the day of departure I collapsed at home and was unable to travel. Lol travel speedily refunded my booking per the terms and conditions and then some. Last month I booked a hotel in Prague with lol whilst waiting for my flight at Luton airport. Their price was considerably cheaper than other operators and the check in process was seamless. Well done and thanks, lol

I can not be more dissapointed..
I have mispelled the name of a passenger when purchasing tickets for a client from the US.

I have contacted the company via e-mail, and requested a change. They let me know it is possible with a 'little' fee of 270€ that, and I quote

"The total cost will be €276.00
The amounts will all be charged to the credit card entered at the time of booking"

I say let's proceed, and I keep on working on different things, forgetting this issue, as in my mind, LOL.TRAVEL will charge me extra and solve the issue.

WRONG

Appearantly, they send me an additional email, this time claiming the payment need to be paid by a different card than the original payment method. WHAT?

"We have sent you a secure link to pay €276.00 with a different card, the link expires in 1 hours."

At this point, it feels like a scam, but can it really be a scam? I gave a benefit of the doubt and wrote to the custumer support again asking for the name change

However this time, they let me know there will also be a penalty fee if I proceed with the name change and I did not agree with accepting the penalty, as the whole fee + penalty + lack of information and responsibility from the lol.travel just seemed disingenuine and unfair.

To this they told me:
Dear client,
we are sorry, but since there are flights in code-share with different airilnes (United and Lufthansa), the name correction is not allowed.

Support did not get back to me afterwards.

I am not only dissapointed, I honestly feel scammed. Lol.travel is unworthy, i wouldn't waste my time and money like this if I knew. I should have checked people's experiences before choosing this company, as there are countless situations just like mine below.
