Just lies to get out of refund

Flowers paid to be delivered on a specific day. I received an email from the The Royal Mail telling a request had been made to not deliver on that date. I immediately contacted Prestige Flowers to ask if they had made the request and they lied to me telling me a delivery attempt had been made. I asked for a refund as the recipient would not be back at the address for 5 days (Work address over easter period)

They said no refunds could be given as nobody was in to receive the flowers. Complete and utter lies.

Unfortunately its too late for me to look at the previous reviews on Trustpilot. I only wish I had checked before using this website

Disappointing

I ordered some flowers on Saturday for Sunday delivery. I ordered the medium bouquet of hyacinths and tulips and paid £30.49, (this did not include the £5.99 delivery charge). I bought the medium as I wanted a slightly larger arrangement as it was a gift. However what arrived on Sunday was, unfortunately, really not worth what I paid. In fact, it looked like a bunch of flowers that had been picked up in a supermarket the day before and probably cost less than £6. The tulips were wilting and, although I completely understand that the hyacinths are in bud to make them last longer, there were only 4 hyacinth stems included. Customer services being very unhelpful and refusing to acknowledge they are in any way at fault.

Sent me the wrong size flowers

Sent me the wrong size flowers, tried to argue and say they were a medium when they were clearly a small and I ordered the large.

Said they could refund my money because they sent the right flowers just not the right size.

Paid £35 for 3 flowers and some leaves.

The woman then pretended the line was bad and hung up on me at 4.59pm knowing that I would be able to call back because they closed at 5pm.

Don’t waste your money, you’d get nicer flowers in Lidl.

Substandard flowers

I have used prestige flowers many times but latterly the quality of flowers are NOT up to standard. I received a unicorn bouquet for Mother’s Day. The roses were covered in some kind of wax which transferred to the water in the vase and prevented the roses from fully opening so I wrote a few days later to complain, with pics. Because I was what they called outwith the time to complain which by the way is not indicated anywhere on the paperwork I received, they said as a ‘gesture’ they’d give me a £10 credit voucher on my account. This of course meant if I chose a bouquet I’d have to pay the difference. So….i chose the basic rose and lily bouquet. My delivery was free as I’ve paid for a year upfront. I sent pics as the roses were tiny and very poor plus greenery was shedding! They came back to me to say they’d send another which arrived today. At the very least I expected a larger bouquet and when I sent pics of this one with split leaves they said they can only replace what I paid for! I most certainly won’t use them and do NOT recommend. The final reply was curt and ended with ‘Have a nice day!’exclamation mark says it all really. So. Rant over and hope this review prevents people from using Prestige Flowers.

Absolutely horrendous

Absolutely horrendous! Do not use. Ordered a beautiful bouquet for my daughter on line and what was received was worse than I would have picked up from a petrol station. Complained with a photo and was told within one minute that the photo was shown to a manager and sized, was within their guidelines. I’m actually speechless. Lesson learnt!

AVOID AT ALL CISTS

My son sent me a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day. They arrived a day late and the quality of the flowers were awful and certainly didn’t look their photo on the website .Some stems were broken and after a day they looked half dead. I eventually made contact by email and having looked at the photos the florist manager said there was a slight quality issue and offered me a £15 voucher to use on a future order which I declined. Why would I give a company more money to replace something that was of inferior quality. The florist manager refused to engage with me which tells me everything I need to know about the company. Your 100% satisfaction guarantee is completely worthless and your customer service is appalling. There are far more worthy online flower companies that deserve custom rather than your shoddy company. I would recommend others to avoid at all cost.

Ordered a medium-sized bouquet for a friend's birthday. My friend sent me a photo of what appears to be a standard size bouquet which includes four fully open rose blooms - two of the four roses well past their prime (petals drooping). Very embarrased to have sent this to my friend. Customer Service Supervisor assured me that this is their medium size and the quality is in line with their standards. I do not agree that the flowers were of an acceptable standard. I requested they resend the flowers but they refused. I do not recommend using Prestige Flowers. I will send another gift to my friend from another retailer and apologise for the sad, tired and paultry offerings sent by Prestige Flowers. Disgraceful, regrettable and deeply embarassing.

Don't waste your time and money

What went wrong? Everything.

Please do not ever, EVER..... order flowers from these people.

Not only were the flowers for Mother's day a day late, the wrong flowers were received. Just like similar reviews on trustpilot, I was asked to provide photographic evidence, which I did to be met with the same excuse (after saying they then needed to see an additional picture to show the lilies open, to prove they were the wrong colour) the final response was 'they matched the correct size and quality - consistent with the bouquet purchased from their website.'

They looked NOTHING like the pictures on their website. The lilies were the WRONG colour and the roses were wilting on day two - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

After asking for a refund twice, which they refused - they pointed out if I was to charge them back on my card, then they have a right to challenge any dispute.

I will never use this company again, lesson learnt - will buy local next time. I will gladly participate in any group contact with BBC watchdog, as it's not right that customers are being treated in this manner. Awful behaviour.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. DISGUSTING!!!

My son ordered flowers from Prestige Flowers & they were delivered on Mother's Day. When I took them out of the box they were very droopy & sad looking but I trimmed the stems, put them in fresh water with food & hoped that they would perk up the next day. Unfortunately, they didn't & the leaves started to turn yellow. I started a 'chat' & was advised all the agents were busy but I would get a response, which I didn't. Started another chat today & all you get is the same message going around & around. This company is a complete shambles & shouldn't be allowed to trade. They are expensive & I could have bought much nicer longer lasting flowers in Aldi for a fraction of the price.

The worst bouquet of flowers I have ever seen

The worst bouquet of flowers I have ever seen. Ordered flowers for mother's day. The flowers that turned up were awful and bore no relation to the pics on the website. Complained to Prestige Flowers and was offered a 10% credit against next order...no chance. They then refused a refund even though they have breached their contract under the consumer rights act. Total contempt for customers. I have now raised this with the Sunday Times Questions of Cash. They help consumers fight poor customer service like this. If you have also experienced this with Prestige Flowers...e mail the Sunday Times. I have won a battle with a company before by doing this.

Sad waste of money

My son and daughter in law sent me flowers for Mother's Day. They arrived on Friday and were firstly just 6 roses and 2 half stems of lilies with some foliage. The white roses were very dropped and the lilies were really battered. The foliage has been dropping every day and last night put out in the bin.
Tried calling customer service and was on hold for an hour!
Gave up and wrote this review.

Had a very expensive Mothers Day…

Had a very expensive Mothers Day bouquet delivered the day before Mothers Day. My poor mom hadn't had them one day and where turning brown and dying. Reached out to the company who then requested photos as evidence which I did. Then to be told the pictures had been analysed and had met there quality standards. I know what flowers should look like and there was absolutely nothing quality about them and im pretty sure a bouquet should last more than 1 day!! Asked for a refund but has been dismissed, just told to escalate the complain. Very stressful experience and has ruined my moms Mothers Day. Will never use this company ever again

Doesn't delivery on time

I don't see the point in allowing you to choose a delivery date if they cant deliver your flowers for that date?? Mothers day delivery was chosen, to Guernsey. Granted, delivery will take longer but if you choose a delivery date youd expect them to make allowances for this and post accordingly but they make no effort to do this. They were posted the day before(?) and arrived 2 days after the delivery date requested but you cant do anything about it because their T&Cs cover their back and allow them to post whenever they choose only offering you a refund on the £3.99 delivery if arriving 3 days late. Useless and wont be using them again!

My son ordered my bouquet for mother's day a week in advance. They arrived a day late, some were dead, some were browning on the petals and ALL were wilted. Son has sent pictures and they just keep coming back asking for ariel view. I will never buy my flowers from here again. My poor son is a student and ripping people off who are on low incomes is not good! Avoid like the plague!

This company is an utterly disgraceful company. My son sent me a mother's day bouquet which does not even look like the one he ordered and today the flowers are starting to die !!!! They should not be allowed to trade and take honest money from people and deliver appalling flowers. You cannot get through to complain either. I have taken photos of the flowers from yesterday when they arrived and again today so would willing show them to the company and anyone else.
