Communication was terrible

Product was very good. BUT the customer care was terrible. The lady sounded disrespectful in email communication. And NO, they don't deliver on the time they mentioned on the website. It's called "lie".

Never anything again from this company

We ordered a mattress from here because of the 2 day shipping on the 20th of march, we did not receive it as of yet(it is the 20th of April) Contacted them they answered some bs once than never again. As I see it happened before to others, definitely not recommended!

The worst company to ever buy from

The worst company to ever buy from. I placed my order on the 30th of March and only received my order on the 15th of April.

I asked to cancel my order and they said that I cant at the moment but I can refuse delivery.

When GLS finally delivered the mattress my wife refused to accept the package and the delivery man went crazy at her, even though she gave birth couple of months ago. Now they making me pay to return the mattress even though they were late 2 weeks. Never buying again from.

No product and no communication

I ordered a mattress from Matratzen Discount almost two months ago, and I have still not received anything – not even an order confirmation.

The payment was taken from my account immediately, but there has been no communication since. I have contacted them twice by email and have not received any response.

This is very frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Dishonest return policy

Basically i lost my money becouse they hide in pourpose which products are available for refund

They claim you have 30 nights sleep over products for refund except for higyenic labeled exceptions ones which they dont specify on the products they sell. Once the package arrives if you dont realize about the label in the corner and you open the package you lost every possible refund. Shipping cost also has to be paid by you so even if you saw the label and dont want to open it you will have to pay to send it for a refund becouse they didnt said you dont have a refund in this product webpage if you open it.

Scammers! Horrible experience!

I ordered a mattress from this company, and it’s honestly been one of the worst experiences.

Their website clearly states delivery within 1–2 days. In reality, I’ve been waiting for over 1.5 months, and the mattress still hasn’t arrived. Every time I contact them, I get the same response: “delivery next week.” Week after week — nothing happens.

The order has not been delivered, no refund has been issued, and there is zero clear information. Just empty promises over and over again.

At this point, it feels like a scam: they take your money and keep delaying without any intention of actually delivering the product.

I strongly do NOT recommend this company. If you don’t want to waste your money, time, and nerves — stay away.

Please note that the 1-2 days delivery time stated in the header of the website is a general claim that applies to most products and orders, but the expected delivery date is indicated directly on the product itself at the time of ordering, right next to the price.

It sounds more like you ordered an item that was not in stock and we are waiting for a restock from the supplier. The shop system indicates this at the time of ordering as well.

Please send us an email at customer-service@matratzen.discount with your order number, and we can check what item it was and when we expect to receive restock. Alternatively, you can of course cancel the order.

Bitte beachte dass die 1-2 Tage Lieferzeit im Header der Webseite ein allgemeiner Claim sind, der auf die meisten Produkte und Bestellungen zutrifft, aber an den Produkten selbst steht bei der Bestellung dran, direkt beim Preis, wann der Artikel voraussichtlich geliefert wird.

Das klingt eher so, als hättest du einen Artikel bestellt, der gar nicht auf Lager war und wo wir selbst darauf warten, Nachschub vom Lieferanten zu bekommen. Das zeigt das Shopsystem bei der Bestellung dann auch an.

Bitte sende uns eine E-Mail an customer-service@matratzen.discount mit deiner Bestellnummer, dann können wir mal schauen, was für ein Artikel das überhaupt war und wann wir da voraussichtlich Nachschub erhalten. Alternativ kannst du die Bestellung natürlich auch stornieren.

False shipping promises and dishonest customer service

They promise shipping in 2 days, but I ordered 3 days ago and the tracking still shows "not shipped." When I contacted them, they claimed it was the shipping company's fault. However, GLS officially confirmed that they haven't even received the item yet. They are clearly being dishonest. I’ve had no choice but to start a chargeback with my bank. Avoid!

Unfortunately, I don't have access to your order details here, so I can only speculate on what might have happened.

The most common reason why we show items as shipped, but GLS/DHL hasn’t received them yet, is simply the time lag between when we’ve already labeled the items with the GLS/DHL label and placed them in the GLS/DHL truck, but the truck isn’t quite full yet and is still parked in our loading bay.
GLS/DHL only leaves the yard every few hours, then drives the truck who knows where, has to unload it there, and only then is it scanned.

We often run into this problem when customers want to cancel orders—we say, “It’s already been shipped,” and the customer says, “No, GLS says they haven’t received the package yet.” -> Well, that’s because it was already in the truck; it just takes a few hours for it to get scanned.
We can’t teleport things, after all ;)

So I suspect that was the case here with you as well. Otherwise, I don’t know what could have gone wrong. But in any case, I’m sorry that we weren’t able to keep our promise in your case.

We are also glad that you are satisfied with the mattress. With a flip mattress, you have the option to choose between two sleeping surfaces, each offering different firmness levels. H2 is the softer one, H3 the firmer. Check if you might have accidentally been lying on the soft side. Just try flipping it over; maybe it won't feel too soft for you then.

If it still feels too soft, there is another option: your slatted frame.

The slats of the slatted frame can influence the firmness of the mattress to a certain extent. How firm or soft a mattress feels depends up to 40% on the slatted frame. Many people underestimate this effect or forget that it even exists. Even orthopedic mattresses only show their effect with a properly adjusted base.

If you are unsure whether your slatted frame is adjustable, it’s worth taking a quick look at the slats in the pelvic and lumbar area. If there are small sliders or double slats that can be pushed in or out, then the firmness can be adjusted.

The adjustment itself is quite simple: If the mattress seems too soft to you, move the sliders further towards the center so that the slatted frame becomes more stable and provides stronger support. The area under the pelvis is crucial because it either aligns your spine properly or forces it into an unnatural position. Often, a small adjustment is enough to significantly improve the lying comfort.

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately, we have gone through all the free tips I could give you. Then there would still be the option to buy a topper; you can find something like that in our shop :)
