I had a very upsetting experience with this company. I contacted them in October for a boiler replacement. The owner, Mr. Singh, came to my home, spoke very nicely, and promised quick, high-quality work, including a new boiler, thermostat, and power flush. Because of a leak and my upcoming travel, I paid the full amount upfront — something I now deeply regret. After taking payment, the start date was changed several times. Calls and messages went unanswered, and on the day they confirmed the work would be done, no one turned up. It was extremely stressful since I had to travel the next day. I lost trust completely and went to their Green Street office to ask for my money back. They initially agreed to refund me within 14 days, but that never happened.I sent several emails and formal requests, but there was no response. Instead, the company filed a small claims case against me even though they still had my money and hadn’t completed the job. The whole experience left me feeling helpless and unheard.I strongly suggest anyone thinking of using this company should read the reviews carefully before deciding. I wish I had looked more closely at other customers’ experiences first.
Indris did a good job of servicing the boiler, he took lot of care to clean the rust bits and did a good service! I 'd highly recommend and commend Indris on a job well done!

We requested for a call out to fix our boiler, it was for £65.00 which we agreed. The boiler repaier arrived and said he can repair it for £220.00 cash. We needed to arrange this urgently and so agreed. The person arrived the following day only to put tape on the broken pipe with no replacement. This is the type of cowboy persons they have. Never trust them and just go with a well known boiler company. We are at a loss of £285.00. Please avoid!

Calling Meraboiler was a very expensive mistake.
I requested a boiler service which was unable to be completed as the contractor was unable to take the required gas readings when running the heating. I was offered a "powerflush" to resolve the perceived issue with my relatively new Valiant boiler.
When attending my property for the "powerflush" the contractors were unable explain the scope of the job. They were unable to begin the work as they did not know how to install a drain fitting required to empty the heating system. When the company owner attended to support the contractors he was very confident he could undertake the work, although after 2 hours of investigation it became clear that he did not know how.
After receiving a second opinion I learnt that my boiler was operating correctly, the gas readings could be taken by running the hot tap and it is possible to drain a heating system, if required, by installing a £5 self-tapping drain.
In total I was charged, in advance, £120 for the initial service and £540 for the "powerflush". As I paid by credit card I could eventually obtain a refund through the credit card recharge system for my £120 but I have lost the £540 because I used a normal bank card and the recharge process is unavailable.
I tried many times to contact the manager to discuss the situation and claim a refund, or even a part refund to compensate for the call out, but I have not received any response.
The up-sell I received for the "powerflush" was unecessary, based on the second opinion that I received. I am also concerned that the manager was unwilling to discuss the matter with me and refused my many efforts to contact him. I rate the contractor as unfit to offer plumbing services.
This company has continued to scam people. Please check which Mera boiler company you entered into the contract with. They took all our money upfront, for the same boiler installation and supply. When checking on companies house register, the company is dissolved. After cheating us with the incomplete, sub standard work with health & safety risks by non registered gas safe people, they left us in mess. I have no idea how they are allowed to rob people of their money, and carry on trading. Now the company with who we had entered into is dissolved, we can’t even take legal action against them even though they exist under parent group company Mera boiler group & logo. Be careful and don’t be fooled and don’t part with your money especially upfront demand.
Unprofessional and poor customer service
Grateful that I got through to Kam for an emergency callout, she was outstanding and extremely helpful, managed to get me a plumber right away and seconds after the plumber arrived. Empathetic and excellent customer service from her part.

UPDATE: Meraboiler made considerable efforts to suppress this review, flagging it as harmful or illegal. However, after providing TrustPilot with substantiating evidence for the claims detailed herein, the review was reinstated. For further corroboration, evidential images can be viewed on Google Reviews.
Meraboiler was hired to perform the routine replacement of a gas boiler, an experience that ultimately revealed significant deficiencies in professionalism, competence, and integrity.
Following an extensive round of engineer quotations, my landlady — motivated primarily by cost considerations — selected Meraboiler, the lowest-cost provider, to replace an aging gas boiler prone to frequent failures. During Meraboiler's initial site assessment, their representative presented himself as knowledgeable and persuasive, expertly identifying apparent points of failure such as sludge accumulation and pipe blockages. In hindsight, this assessment appeared designed primarily to preemptively justify subsequent shortcomings in workmanship.
On the scheduled installation day, Meraboiler disregarded explicit instructions to arrive at 10:00 AM due to a critical client meeting scheduled at 9:00 AM. Instead, their engineers arrived at 9:15 AM, persistently ringing the doorbell and disrupting the meeting. This forced its premature termination and subsequent rescheduling, causing inconvenience both to my client and my professional obligations.
Communication difficulties were evident due to the clear and obvious language barrier; the engineers had a very poor comprehension of the English language. The engineers entered without greeting or offering explanations regarding their procedures or anticipated disruption. They provided no guidance on clearing valuable kitchen appliances or on the extent of intrusion their equipment would cause.
Several troubling incidents occurred during installation:
1. Engineers appropriated IKEA cardboard boxes from my personal storage without permission to protect kitchen surfaces due to their own inadequate preparation.
2. They consumed milk from my refrigerator without consent and left personal items — such as hairpins — in my bathroom.
3. The engineers employed a blowtorch, causing damage to the kitchen countertop at two separate points, and scratched the surface with their equipment.
Approximately two hours into their work, I discovered significant damage — a prominent crack across the top of my £300 Nespresso coffee machine.
When confronted about this damage, the engineers initially offered no explanation beyond expressions of confusion. Instead, they contacted their supervisor, who promptly arrived and denied responsibility by asserting that because "the box [the item came in] isn't new," the crack must have predated their arrival. Upon further challenge, he became confrontational, verbally aggressive, and threatened to withdraw his team from the job. Shortly thereafter, he instructed his team to leave abruptly, leaving the kitchen in an unusable state.
The landlady's subsequent response was inadequate; she failed to address or resolve the issue regarding the damaged coffee machine. Instead, she later imposed a rent increase of £240 per month during a fixed-term tenancy agreement.
Meraboiler eventually returned later that day to complete the boiler installation. However, their return was marked by silence and evident hostility.
Ultimately, their deficient customer service was matched only by their substandard workmanship.
I'm not alone in expressing grave concerns about Meraboiler's professionalism and workmanship. Other customer reviews, on Yell.com, have similarly described installations as "extremely sub-standard and unsafe," noting repeated unanswered calls for assistance following inadequate installations. Additional reviewers characterized Meraboiler as "incompetent, unprofessional and rude," highlighting issues such as unresolved leaks after installation and poor value for money. One reviewer explicitly warned potential clients: "DO NOT USE OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY," recounting pressure tactics resulting in a £2,000 loss. Another customer detailed experiences where installations led directly to water leaks without adequate follow-up support or resolution.
It remains true that one generally receives quality commensurate with investment; indeed, it is an old but timeless adage: you get what you pay for.
If I could give this company a 0 rating I would. We purchased a new boiler for Mum and therr have been problems from the get go. The installation did not go smoothly and took much longer than was estimated. Since then, the boiler has broken down twice. The first time and engineer was able to fix it. The second time was early March 2025 and the issue still hasn't been fixed (today is 15th March). My Mum is 71 and vulnerable and has been without heating for over 2 weeks. Since the issue was reported, Meraboiler have not kept my Mum informed on when the issue would be resolved or when an engineer can visit. An engineer attended last week to try and diagnose the issue. Apparently upon installation an incorrect old pipe from the old immersion boiler was used and is now blocked as its not fit for purpose. So the issue is the fault of the company. The engineer was supposed to return to fix the issue this week on Monday but didn't turn up. Now we have resorted to chasing again which is getting us nowhere. This company are shameless.
It was a mistake to chose this company to purchase a boiler from. Please take my advice and do not buy a boiler or take out boiler cover with Meraboilers. The service and aftercare is shockingly bad.

I had an issue with my boiler which was recently fitted in back in October 2024. I contacted Mera Boiler via WhatsApp messaging and they were very prompt with their response. They called me back almost straight away and they guided me through resetting the boiler and increasing the pressure. This was very helpful and the needful was done within less than 15 mins. Boiler was up and running after 30 minutes.

Avoid Mera Boiler at All Costs – Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Deceptive!
My experience with Mera Boiler has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recommend exercising caution before engaging with this company.
I paid £1,560 over three months ago for a boiler that was never installed. Despite repeated follow-ups, they initially promised a partial refund and later a full refund, but neither has materialized. To this day, I have received nothing.
To make matters worse, the company has completely stopped responding to my calls and emails. They have even gone so far as to block my number. This behavior is not only outrageous but also entirely unprofessional and unethical.
Based on my experience, there were significant issues with communication and service, particularly after payment was made. I encourage potential customers to thoroughly review feedback, including 1-star reviews on Trustpilot and discussions on other platforms such as forums, WhatsApp groups, and online communities, to make an informed decision. Numerous people have pointed out that negative reviews on Trustpilot have been removed, and some forum users suggest that many positive reviews are either fake or paid for. Unfortunately, I failed to investigate their background thoroughly and ended up falling victim to their scam.
I couldn't be more impressed with Meraboiler! From start to finish, their service was seamless and professional. Booking an appointment was simple and convenient, and the engineer arrived promptly as scheduled. The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. They explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving.
The quality of the boiler installation was outstanding, and I’ve already noticed a significant improvement in my home's heating and energy efficiency. Their pricing was transparent and competitive, with no hidden surprises. It’s rare to find a company that combines expertise, excellent customer service, and great value so well.
I highly recommend Meraboiler to anyone looking for reliable boiler services. They’ve truly set the bar high!

Extremely Disappointing Service - Avoid This Company
I cannot recommend this company. From the very beginning, the installation of my new boiler was a headache, and things have only gotten worse. The customer service is shockingly bad—they continuously transferred me from one person to another, leaving me without answers. When I questioned a payment I didn’t owe, instead of apologizing for their mistake, they brushed it off as a simple error.
Now, my boiler, which is still under warranty, has stopped working, and when I asked them to come out and check it, they wanted to charge me a call-out fee. It’s clear their focus is on getting your money, not actually providing good service or honoring their warranty. Completely dissatisfied with how they've handled everything.
reason for cancel their call out :
I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent call-out charge for repair my boiler.
confirmed by the manufacturer, my boiler is still under warranty, and if the issue is found to be a boiler fault, no charge would be applied for the call-out, I was informed that a call-out fee is being charged by mera boiler, and I would like to understand the reason for this. As the manufacturer has confirmed that the fault should be covered under warranty, I am seeking clarification on why I am being charged this fee.
Could you please provide a detailed explanation of why this charge is being applied despite the warranty coverage?

Treat Customer Boiler as Mera Boiler
22-23 October 2024
Heard their commercial over the Radio and decided to Take a quote for supply and fit a new boiler amongst two others. Their price was good and work was found satisfactory on installation. A Hive thermostat was successfully installed. Professional approach appreciated
