mifo is garbage
mifo is a chinese company, which is not a problem to me, but their advertising is misleading and deceptive, the product is garbage rubbish waste of time, the gen 3 earbuds are useless, they dont work, the volume increses without me touching anything, to the point i had to rip them out too loud, i would NOT recommend this company, they are very deceptive, product is bad.

Do not buy from them. Note that Consume Affairs Vic put out a warning notice - wish I’d seen that first. Bought a pair of Sonitrek earbuds that did not work. Mifo offered to replace them, then ghosted me. No replacement, no refund after nearly 3 months of me chasing.

Do not buy from these criminals
Do not get sucked into believing any good review for Mifo.com.au. I did. The product (Sonictrek QuietMix II Active Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones With SmartQ Silencing Technology) arrived in a reasonable time and looked ok - although they had that very cheap chinese plastic chemical smell. They worked ok to start and then started giving me a low battery warning after being fully charged. Then shutting down. I email Mifo and they responded straight away with a suggestion to fix them. The steps they gave me made little sense and could not be executed on these headphones. I then emailed them again and said if they can't fix them that I wanted a refund. I have been ghosted ever since. Do yourself a favour and don't get sucked in like I did - I actually thought I was pretty good at not getting scammed!

BE WARNED! This company promises a lot, but delivers nothing. I tried from one hour after placing my order to get a refund as I purchased these for my wife without knowing she had already bought herself earbuds. Alice from Mifo assured me it would get cancelled and refunded. Fast forward two weeks, with no resolution to my request, and the earbuds show up. I then request a return address and after providing photos of the sealed earbuds, I again get no response. They promise to give you a full refund if returned within 30 days, but never actually allow you to return them by not providing a return address within the 30 days. I'm sure their warranty process would be just as bad. Do not under any circumstances deal with this company. You have been warned. Lastly, I have reported them to the Consumer Protection Agency.

Company very hard to contact, but they eventually responded and agreed to send replacements but after many emails and waiting 5 weeks they never turned up. Do not buy from this company. If I could give Mifo Australia zero…
If I could give Mifo Australia zero stars I would. We bought two pairs of headphones and mine became faulty within 5 months of use. Mifo refuses to comply to consumer law, Consumer Affairs Victoria has a public warning about them. Mifo states that their T&Cs mean no refunds after 30 days, which includes if the product is faulty. In the end our bank gave us the money back, but not after weeks of trying to get Mifo to comply with the law. Don’t believe every positive review you read online about this company and their products. Take a look at Product Reviews site who took down a whole bunch of fake reviews. Save yourself the hassle and buy tech products through a regular electronics retail company.
Absolute disgusting company
Absolute disgusting company. I purchased a $350.00 Vacuum Cleaner in January 2025 from this dodgy company and by July it had stopped working. All emails I sent regarding this were ignored. I got on live chat and was offered but another one, but by this time I’d had to purchase another Vacuum so I said no I want a refund. Sent the Vacuum off, which cost me $50.00, sent both an email and live chat message with returns information and photos requesting confirmation that they had received them, and no reply. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a scam, sell faulty products and their customer service is below zero. Liars and scam artists.

A complete scam. The worse product I’ve ever had. My first one stopped working after 2 days. After 3 months of back and forth I finally received a replacement. The replacement is again not working properly and cuts out constantly despite multiple resets. This is a sham product. Do not buy.

Would give no stars. Still waiting since March for refund or replacement. After last review received email stating EarPods are out of stock however still selling them on website - no refund offered even though it is required by law to do so. These guys are scammers of the worst kind.

I bought a pair of earbuds. The ANC does not work at all, and the connection is intermittent. I've asked many times for a tax receipt and heard nothing from them. I will be pursuing legal options to get a refund.
Faulty Product + No Response = Frustrating Experience
I ordered earbuds from Mifo Australia on 2 June, received them on 12 June, and after just one use the left earbud had a visible crack and fuzzy sound. I contacted support right away with photos and asked for a refund, as it was within their 14-day return policy.
They initially offered a replacement, which I declined in favour of a refund. Since then, they’ve ignored every follow-up email. No response for over a week. I’ve now filed a formal complaint with the ACCC (REF4634562) and will be escalating through Afterpay and Consumer Affairs if this continues.
$129 wasted on a faulty item and no customer support. Buyers, beware — once they have your money, you’re on your own.
