Minky rotary dryer
I bought a Minky rotary dryer, only to find that it was missing part of the base.
Minky don't stock this as a spare part.
They admitted that other people had complained about receiving this product with the same part missing, despite that, they're not willing to do anything about it !
My new rotary dryer now has to go to the council tip to be disposed of.
Quite shocking and a very low standard.
I had an issue with my clothes airer…
I had an issue with my clothes airer after a few months. The support team organised a replacement within 24 hours even though technically the damage wasn’t covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Special mention to Rachel for sorting this out so quickly!
Waiting
Just contacted them sent receipt photo left withought mop no hurry better hear back soon it’s us that pay wages coustomer
I recently bought a Minky Clean Spin…
I recently bought a Minky Clean Spin Mop from a supermarket, it took me 3 or 4 weeks to use it. When I open the box I found out that the bucket cap was missing. I've reached out to Minky's customer service and I can't praise Sam and Paige enough for them assistance. They were absolutely amazing and you are very lucky to have them. When people say "employees make a business stand out ", this is absolutely true. You have gained a customer for life.
Terrible product and customer service - would give 0 rating if I could!!
Worst ironing board I've purchased and terrible customer service! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!
I purchased the Minky Ergo Plus Ironing Board which has a shelf for steam generator irons and a part at the end of the board for resting the hot iron on while in use. Guess what - it melted!!!
Apart from this being a safety issue, it has now ruined my steam generator iron which was not a cheap purchase and when I approached Minky they didn't seem bothered at all - just hid behind the "oh you purchased this within last 30 days - go back to the retailer" policy who has had to deal with my complaint instead. NOT IMPRESSED AND WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY MORE MINKY PRODUCTS!!
Do not waste your money
I have to say, this is the worst ironing board I have ever used. My husband picked this up and it was the most expensive. He thought he was buying quality, but it’s quite the opposite!
The board feels flimsy, the cover is very thin, so marks the clothing and the condensation collects underneath and drips on the floor. I originally thought my iron was leaking, but quickly discovered it was the ironing board. I purchased a Minky cover, thinking this would help with both issues, but unfortunately not. I now have to put a towel, under the board when using it. In this case, the most expensive is definitely NOT the best! Don’t waste your money!
Misleading Sizing and Poor Customer Support
I purchased a Minky ironing board cover listed as suitable for boards up to 122 x 38 cm — exactly the size of my Minky board. Yet the cover didn’t fit: it was too narrow to wrap around the sides and didn’t fit the nose/tip due to a shape mismatch.
Nowhere on the packaging or website does it mention that their covers may not fit wide-nose boards, nor that the stated size doesn't account for wraparound. When I contacted support, they dismissed it as an “unwanted item” and refused to cover return postage — despite the fact that the product didn’t fit as described.
This isn’t about preference. It’s about misleading guidance and poor accountability. A disappointing experience from a long-standing British brand.
I'm now boycotting this brand. Nothing Minky in our house ever again.
Minky mop is useless
Bought the Minky squeegee mop and it's totally useless
The mop head keeps coming off with the first use and I'm not pushing too hard
Complete waste of money
I would just like to thank the lovely…

Bought a minky airer with a 3 year…
Bought a minky airer with a 3 year warranty and it dropped to bits they refuse to honour the warranty. Inferior products and abysmal customer service. Avoid at all costs! Be warned!
Are they bovvered?...No
Bought an ironing board. "Some assembly required to save on packaging"!!! Crucial bits missing. Emailed Minky support. No response after 7 days so completed on-line help form. No response after 7 more days. I am sure product might be fine if I could get it to stand up...Is it worth saving a very little bit of packaging to put customers through this aggravation? - I am not the first, I notice.
Bought minky heated clothes airer and…
Bought minky heated clothes airer and it had a ragged sharp screw with a ragged bit of metal. I took pics of the sharp metal and sent it to customer service to be told it was accident damage and return it to shop. This item is dangerous. Do not buy. If a young child touched this I’d hate to think of the outcome.
Minky's false marketing
Recently bought a Minky Smartfit ironing board cover. On the packaging and marketing materials, it states 'super tight elasticated fit'. My order was for the correct size and it is certainly NOT 'super tight'. In fact, 'very loose and sagging at the sides' would be a more appropriate description.
I contacted customer 'service' and, after putting me through taking and sending a photo and a video, she tried to sell me some clips. Well, if this is being marketed as 'super tight' and it is not, the pegs should be included. Of course, Natalie at customer services doesn't seem to understand what 'super tight' actually means and could only recommend that I go through the hassle of returning it to the vendor.
She could have actually offered to send a few clips to ensure the product was in keeping with their description, but from what I've been reading since, it seems that the company don't care about their reviews, customers, products or false marketing.
Easy to order what I wanted
Easy to order what I wanted. Item arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, the item was damaged.
To my relief the process of getting a replacement was easy and dealt with promptly and a replacement arrived just as quick.
Cannot fault this company based on my experience.
Shoddy workmanship
Purchased Neptune ironing board from Argos. Arrived and found to be incorrectly assembled at factory. Replacement arrived and leg collapsed after first item ironed. Spot welds failed. Might as well have used blue tac. Never buy minky ironing boards. Obviously quality control doesn't exist.
Poor experience with Customer Service
I bought a V Mop from a Supermarket which wasn’t fit for purpose. 1. The V mop end didn’t fit into room corners as the V is larger than a right angle. 2. The mop didn’t wring out properly leaving the floor very wet. 3. The mop handle didn’t shorten in length to get into awkward spaces, and finally 4. When pulling handle up after wringing mop it jammed pinching & bruising my stomach. Although I purchased the mop a long time ago but then didn’t use it due to moving home where there wasn’t any flooring to mop so remained in a cupboard in the packaging, until recently used it for first time. Customer Service Manager hasn’t answered any of the 4 issues or Why this ‘Not Fit For Purpose Mop’ didn’t remain as an item they sell, only that customers like different mops & the V Mop wasn’t suitable for Me! I will not use it again & have wasted my money, I will return to using a basic string mop & add onto my previous pole I kept. I asked Customer Services if they would send me a new mop end as a good will gesture but they’ve refused. I was provided with head office address to write to but told they wouldn’t say anything different. I will never purchase a Minky item again.
Bought a Minky airer on Amazon
Bought a Minky airer on Amazon. It arrived sealed with parts missing. I contacted their CS who expect my to wait in all day for their driver to collect. Believe all the reviews, their CS is terrible. Very bad attitude.
Poor experiences of Minky ironing boards
My first Minky ironing board was still under guarantee. The height adjustment mechanism (flimsy) had bent through normal use and the board was no longer level and not fit for purpose. I contacted Minky for a replacement. I was informed that I had damaged the board and Minky would not replace under the guarantee - all I had done was use it for ironing clothes and was surprised when they would not honour the guarantee. I stupidly bought another Minky replacement board in April and the foot of the leg of this has just dropped off the board. Avoid! No more Minky for me. Just purchased a Brabantia which is like a Rolls Royce in comparison - well made and sturdy.
£60 ironing board broke in 6 months of very light use!
Bought an ironing board for £60. It broke within 6 months of very ligjt and Minky didn't honour the warranty. They claimed it was user error when using the handle which slides the legs up and down. They claim we didn't pull the handle properly.
How the heck can a sliding mechanism break... its a rubbish design.
Fake guarantee
Purchased a minky clothes airer a year ago with a two year guarantee.tge leg bent and then broke off despite being used correctly.they claim accidental damage to get out of honouring the guarantee. Wont waste my money on one of their products again .will buy a cheaper one .they all go same way .only difference with minky is they charge more and hoodwink you with a fake guarantee .
