If I could give zero starts I would. Waited all day yesterday for nothing to arrive and been told could come any time up until 4 pm today. What a waste of my time. No consideration for customers and the live chat gets you nowhere!
Shocking customer service!
THE WORST COURIER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER…
THE WORST COURIER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
Have not had my parcel delivered even though I've been emailed EVERY DAY to say it is coming for the last week. When I complained they emailed me an incident report - and since then myhermes have decided to send me incident reports from nine other people!
AND I still have NOT received my package.
Claim to have ‘attempted delivery’ this…
Claim to have ‘attempted delivery’ this morning which is a lie. I cancelled all my plans for today to wait in for my parcel and it isn’t here. No card left, nothing. This has happened on a number of occasions now and I’ve had enough. So irritating that so many websites only deliver using myhermes, most don’t even state it will be myhermes delivering whilst placing the order, I only find out when I receive an email from myhermes on the day of delivery.
Spoken on their live chat who said they will be delivering tomorrow now - no good to me as I’m not in all day. So asked for it to come today, the person I was chatting to have now claimed to have messaged the courier telling them to deliver it today but that was over 2 hours ago and my tracking info still states delivering tomorrow so I think the live chat person has lied to keep me sweet. We’ll see...
Hermes are unreliable and dishonest
This is the second time in the past couple of months that Hermes have outright lied about attempted delivery. On both occasions, I have stayed at home to receive delivery in their 2 hour window, and both times there has been no attempt to deliver - no card through the door etc etc. I have a loud gundog that goes crazy when delivery or post people arrive at the door - so I would have known if someone had been within 20 feet of my property!
The website has claimed they attempted delivery both times.
In episode 1 they claimed to have attempted delivery one day, said it was successful and signed for the second day. It wasn't! The poor retailer had to send a second parcel - the first was never recovered.
This time they claim to have attempted delivery - I have little faith it will arrive tomorrow either.
What's almost as bad is that there is no way to contact them to resolve issues or complain.
I would advise all retailers against using them for delivery in the Hampshire area. Unreliable and dishonest.
DO NOT USE HEREMES!!!!!!!
Firstly I would not have given this company one star if I had the option, that is how bad the service is at Hermes. I ordered a parcel collection from my house on the 30th April, I then had to take time off work to stay in because they do not give you a time slot, instead they inform you that they drivers work between 8am-8pm so it will be at some point in their shift! (Good one). So there we were the 30th April, I got up early (incase it was an 8am arrival), I didn't watch tv or listen to music like I normally would in the afternoon as I was didn't want to miss the collection persons. It was around 12.05 and I went downstairs to make a cup of tea and there it was a piece of paaper stating they had attempted to collect about 5 minutes before. But I heard absolutely nothing?! Did they blow on the door and run away? It stated on the card that they would try again the next day, so again I took time off work. NOTHING. No "knock", nocard saying they had been. and here we are on day 3 which is the last attempt they will make, I have been waiting and still no sign of them, I even left a note outside saying " Hermes, please knock loudly". So I decided to use their live chat to sort it out and they are trying to tell me that the parcel tracking says "no longer needed for collection on 1st May at 15.03" Who made this executive decision? They don't seem to have a clue what is going on with my parcels collection nothing, but have happily taken the money up front. I think this company is bloody rubbish, PAY A LITTLE EXTRA AND USE ROYAL MAIL!!!!!!!!! They will simply take your money and not deliver the service.
God awful Hermes
I have had 3 dealings with Hermes, ie 3 instances where I knew that it was Hermes delivering the package.
1. The first time, I had some art delivered to me. The artist contacted me, asking if I'd received the art. I hadn't. Herme claimed they had delivered it. The artist asked for proof of delivery from Hermes. Proof was a 'package received note', with a big X written as the signature. Obviously not my signature
2. The artist sent another painting across, Hermes sent it to me and handed it over without asking for a signature. So clearly when they claim to get signatures from the recipient, they don't. They simply forge it. It saves time. If the customer disputes it, the seller pays for another delivery and has to send the item again. The delivery person keeps the package.
3. Just today Hermes claimed to have delivered something to me and left it outside. I've been in all day and there is nothing outside, I checked minutes after getting the email saying the parcel had been delivered. Yes, a neighbour could have stolen it, but they would have had to be very fast. Given Hermes track record I think it far more likely that they have been crap again
No problems with my Hermes courier.
What a joke Company
I purchased a shed from Amazon and paid extra for 48 hour delivery, which should have been on Friday 27th. Didn't arrive, but was told they tried to deliver it at 10.13 pm that night. Lie, apart from the fact they don't deliver at that time, we were in. Next day contacted Amazon who said it would be delivered Saturday. NOT. Monday was told it would be delivered that day. NOT. When I checked tracking details it said delivery had been attempted at 8.38 pm Monday night. After many conversations with Amazon, they told me the attempted deliveries were because the driver didn't know where I lived. What a joke, why employ drivers who don't know where they are going, and don't they possess sat navs. They have given my phone number to Hermes again so they could call me when they are near. Reading the reviews, doesn't look like that will happen and, you guessed, 14.23 and not heard yet. If no delivery today, I am asking for my money back and go to B & Q and buy one, that we can physically put in our car. Absolute LIARS and a shambles of a Company. Should be closed down. They never comment on any of these bad reviews either, so obviously don't care about their customer service.
What a hapless bunch of t***s
What a hapless bunch of t***s. Ordered a rare clothing item, supposedly they delivered it to my porch but nothing arrived. Two weeks down the line their investigation turned up no results as to where the totally useless f****** driver had actually delivered my item too. Luckily the merchant I brought the item from replaced the original with another.

The absolute worst delivery company I have ever, ever come across!! When i was living in London they used to say delivery attempted but I know for a fact they never attempted to deliver anything and now I'm living in Scotland and they've just done the exact same thing. They are so completely full of sh1t !! We have 24hr security at my work address who take in all deliveries and record all entries to the works area and there was no attempted deliveries recorded! Then their "customer service" is just absolutely shocking also! Claimed they could onyl phone the courier once a day !! Haha what a load of crap!
AVOID HERMES AT ALL COSTS!!

I work in a factory that runs 24/7 and Hermes always seems to say that the delivery was attempted. We have a Goods-In with more than 20 people in there and they seems to not find them. How stupid are these drivers...
There is a big outdoor with the name of the company...
I wish all the websites should drop Hermes for good.
Don't use Hermes..........ever
I sent an Ebay buyer a parcel which according to their tracking info had been damaged in transit and was to be returned to me. 2 weeks on and I'm still waiting. I can't even claim compensation because I don't have the parcel. You cannot speak to a human, only a web chat operator who cuts you off when they can't solve your problem. It's a waste of time phoning the customer service line. It's the proverbial case of banging your head against a brick wall
DO NOT USE
Hermes lost my package and customer service is appalling. Call centre in India and the UK don't work together and give conflicting details.
My package had a value of £70 as it was verified Ebay sale. However Hermes only gave £25.29 compensation for this loss. Because of their incompetence I have now lost £50.00 and let my customer down. Shambolic. So what happens to all these "lost" packages, and who financially benefits from these "losses"? Is this a scam?
Will never use again.
Yet another bad review
Told the packages have been delivered when this is not true. Checked with the neighbouring properties and the same number houses in nearby streets and no luck.
After numerous fruitless interactions with customer services, we were sent copies of the photos taken by the driver. After five minutes of driving, I found the property four streets away. Unfortunately nobody is there so I have no idea when we will get the urgent packages.
This company is a complete joke. The driver passed a street sign clearly displaying a different street name. His sat nav would also have shown a different street name. It’s beyond comprehension.
It’s so funny that their Twitter account is full of positive reviews. Competent companies don’t edit their feed, but use it to respond to customer problems.
I have been waiting in the whole day…
I have been waiting in the whole day like an idiot no one came!! but their tracking page says that they attempted to deliver what liears what a crap company it was finally delivered the next day.
Delivery person smoking
I opened the door and the person with my delivery was smoking. I have asthma and I think it was very inappropriate.
Same here as everybody else
Same here as everybody else. I was expecting 2 parcels from 2 different retailers. They have lost the first one and said they will need at least 72 hrs before giving me any news. They attempted to deliver the 2 one 5 minutes before the time they said they were going to: could have left it in the postbox as it would have fit or they could have just waited for the correct time as I've literally popped out 5 minutes and was just across the road.
i don't understand why these retailers keep using them as this is not the first time this happens. Why pay for next day delivery if it's never going to get delivered?
