I’ve been waiting 5 days for my parcel to be picked up, every time I’ve complained I’m fobbed of with the promise of collection, this is without any shadow of doubt the worst service ive ever experienced.
My advice! avoid them like the plague.
Liars!!
I have an order from an online store and they foolishly use Hermes as their courier.
Two days ago I had an email from Hermes saying 'We tried to deliver your **** parcel today but unfortunately there was no-one available to receive the parcel.'
I contacted Hermes telling them that someone was home all day and no one has attempted a delivery for me to miss.
They checked and said there was an address error and it had been sent out on the wrong route.
They went on to say 'I can see the address has been updated and that the parcel is back out for delivery today.'... This was yesterday.
No delivery, no messages, no way to contact them unless through Facebook messenger.
Hermes lied to me twice, and this isn't the first time they have done it. I have been told that I have to wait until April 23rd before I can chase this up, that's 2 weeks from ordering something that doesn't require a signature and will easily fit through a letterbox.
I will shop at stores who do not use Hermes in the future and advise others to do the same!!
Considering we are well in to the 21st century, this is ridiculous. They even sent me tracking information saying the matter had been resolved!!
Placed an order via Tesco direct for my…
Placed an order via Tesco direct for my children's school uniform.
Got an email stating delivery would be Wednesday... no one turned up but they lied and said I wasn't home even though I didn't leave my house...
Thursday delivery delayed due to driver broken down/ilness...
Friday delivered to a secure location at 19.27 ... I was home and no one had knocked whatsoever ... parcel is no where to be seen . Secure location was outside the door ...
Not once was any card left to advise on where this secure location is , I had to keep tracking my order online .
I don't believe for one minute that these cowboys had even attempted to deliver my parcel.
Tesco direct have issued me with a refund but I am still very angry as I needed my children's uniform for school on Monday .
Now I will go back to the usual place that I order uniform who use Royal Mail who always leave a card if your not home etc !
My parcel arrived
My parcel arrived! It was damaged! The seller had wrapped it to withstand most things...except MyHermes. Unfortunately in the future I’ll check before buying from anyone who uses this’courier service’ luckily the seller has offered a full refund doubt they’ll get anything back from their contract with these jokers
I had a parcel that got lost and never found or a refund after multiple attemps
I had a parcel that got lost and clearly shown in their recording system.Tried their customes service, each time asking me to wait for 48 hours until the investigation. This took almost a month to come out with an email stating it is resolved and to refer to ebay now. What a poor service ! PLEASE GUYS DON'T TRUST HERMES WITH EXPENSIVE ITEMS BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BECOME A LOSER !!
Pathetic as always.
Pathetic as always.. my heart sank when I realised my express delivery was being handled by this bunch of Muppets. So I have my 'sorry I missed you card' with absolutely no information filled out. So I then try to see if I can contact them as I work to try and arrange a time.. obviously this is impossible due to the fact you can't speak to a person. So I know it won't be delivered tomorrow and will be returned.. they literally don't care less if they did they would have a human that can sort it out rather than a tracking line that tells me I already have the parcel!!
A WEE BIT OF IMPROVEMENT
I must admit this mob are slowly improving for me anyway but they still have a massive way to go
So poor in so many ways
I placed an order for an item from Groupon for which I received an e mail on 10th April saying that it had been despatched and would be delivered by Hermes. The email had a Hermes tracking number which I thought would be useful regarding availability to accept delivery. Clicking on the tracking number gave details of initial package movements and I also received a text on 11th April at 10.55 advising that the package was with my local Hermes courier and that delivery would be attempted between 11:00 and 15:00. So far so good I thought so I made sure I didn't go out to avoid missing delivery. Come 17:00 no sign of said courier. Thought I would go back to see if the tracking details had been updated only to find that apparently a delivery attempt had been made at 10:37 (I was in all day - no 'missed you' type card left) and that it would now be delivered within 24 hours today (12/4). Last tracking detail shows that at 06:02 the package was on its way to the courier. Not wanting to be out when parcel 'delivered' I cancelled a dental appointment this morning and have been waiting at home for delivery since 08:00. It is now 15:00 and checking tracking there has been no update since 06:02 this morning. Really beginning to think another wasted day and no delivery will be the outcome. .
Having been through the reviews on this website I see that my experience appears to be the norm for this company and that their 'service' is appalling. Apart from anything else the apparent misinformation given out is totally unacceptable for such a large established company. Will avoid like the plague in future if I have a choice in the matter.
DONT NOT USE THIS SERVICE
DONT NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE.
saying that my parcel had been delivered and it wasn't. They sent me a picture that apparently it was put in my bin...again it wasn't.. then you have the task of waiting to speak to customer service....which is live web mail and they were no help ay all. Absolutely terrible.....second time iv had issues with this company. In future if I know these will be delivering any items for me ill cancel my order first. They need closing down permanentlay.
MyHermes please take a look at the delivery instructions
Bought some items through a well known online company, this is no refection on this company, but as I knew that I would not be at home on the specific delivery date from My Hermes tracking, I went onto Myhermes and entered the tracking number they could tell me that this item would be delivered today Wednesday, so I then went back to their website prior to delivery and found that i could advise them to leave the item at the back of the house in an outbuilding, when I got home today I noticed a card behind the door stating that they attempted to deliver the item today and will attempt to deliver again tomorrow (which I will be in), so whats the point of having to advise My Hermes where to leave the items, I would never use this company to deliver anything that I wished to send. I have chatted with a customer service agent and he is going to report this to the field manager of the courier.
No Systems At Hermes Uk
We’re do I start, I ordered on a Thursday for a delivery on Saturday (24 hours). Well The email came though 20:00 on Friday night, their was only 3 items to pick. Really efficient warehouse. Never mind Hermes UK we’re on the case, big mistake because Monday the parcel was put on the wrong van, manager at the depot decided to relabel the parcel and not inform anyone of doing this. Yes Tuesday came and went no parcel, manger probably put it somewhere and forgot about it. Wednesday am get a telephone call from Hermes UK and it is clear too me they don’t know what is going on but assured my that the depot manager is doing a full investigation! He assured my I would get it Thursday before 11:30 and they don’t know where it is! Could it get any worse. Well I could do another 25 minute call before you speak to anyone at Sports Indiret.🤣🤣🤣
Bizzare Organisation with No Standards
Bizzare Organisation with No Standards, regulation or operating procedures. Absolute Cowboys abusing the UK Employment laws. Huge amount of front but no substance.Look at the delivery performance, horrendous
Unsustainable business with no regard for the law or customers. Contracts are not within the Consumer Rights Act. Beware avoid at all cost.
Why Are Amazon Using These Clowns????????
I just wish Amazon would stop using these clowns or at least in include a tick box in there checkout where you can specify your preferred carrier, Hermes to put it simply are rubbish I ordered a item and paid for next day delivery as soon as I saw Hermes was the carrier I new that I would not receive my parcel today and true to form for Hermes I wasn't proven wrong the parcel never arrived but to add insult to injury the lying toe rag who will be delivering it left a message on Hermes tracking that he attempted to deliver it at 2:23 today, this is simply untrue as I was working on my driveway all day, so when he calls tomorrow I will refuse the parcel
I placed an Order with Zara back in…
I placed an Order with Zara back in early February. Incorrectly, I put the wrong door number down on delivery information. However, the door number I put down does not exist. I totally accept its my error with the door number but when contacting Hermes, they state the parcel was delivered to that address (the non-existent one). I have contacted them so many times now and all they can say now is the parcel is 'lost' and its down to Zara. Not sure how Zara are to blame. I can only assume the couriers keep parcels that they can't deliver. Absolutely appalling. Because of the couriers not being able to return parcels if the address does not exist, I lose £200 of clothing.
Need better customer service if you want to improve services etc.
Up Date : My last post I have took back & removed as for a change , it was not Myhermes fault this time.
Parcel was sent to wrong address Number, by seller & courier didn't know any different so not couriers fault.
However , I took delivery of a neighbours parcel this morning & that was delivered by Myhermes & asked if they could look into it , gave them tracking number & it was confirmed later it was at another neighbour further up the road hence I collected it from there , before they sent it back to seller.
I would like to say a big thank you to the two courier guys (not naming names for protection as they did help) for sorting this out , as would still be missing otherwise, so I have revised my post to 4 star , but customer service needs improving as you cannot speak to an advisor , just directed to answering machine which is useless , so 1 star removed for that.
It was delivered on time and tracker was correct but wrong number in my street due to seller error.
Apart from the last couple of parcels that went missing over a year ago & were never found (Refund given by sellers btw) my lack of confidence on this occasion ,has been slightly reversed.
Carefree and couldn't Care Less customer service
Non delivery of Parcel.
Firstly, Website advised to ring Customer Service Tel No.On ringing this it just said you parcel is recorded as delivered go to Website for Live Chat.
A very, very long wait to get Live Chat they admitted to delivering it to the wrong address but promised to investigate.
Subsequent e-mail informed me that investigation shows parcel recorded as delivered and signed for and that was it. No apology, no suggestion for further action.
Something should be done about their carefree and careless attitude - appalling experience.
Incompetent and uncaring - Tracking ref. 4319079724834362
Woefully Incompetent....and that's being kind!!!. I complained to them because they lied to us about a supposed delivery attempt.I think in our case this particular courier had the intelligence and initiative of Plankton!! They've outsourced their supposed Customer service to India (very convenient) and they are useless. This is a tactic used by a lot of companies whereby they want you to give up and go away. You can't even speak to a human being in this country because the numbers they give you put you through to a voice recording. I'm going to start a Facebook campaign against these cowboys so hopefully businesses will stop using them. They don't care about their customers
My experience with Hermes has been 100% good
Although I've read many bad reviews on here and other places, personally our local courier is wonderful. He always arrives on the arranged day to collect my parcels and, thankfully, my parcels have always been delivered at the other end, all over the country so all different couriers and I have not had a problem with any delivery. I do understand that every courier company will have good and bad couriers but my experience with Hermes has always been good. I once took in a box for my next door neighbour and the delivery driver from ANOTHER well known company (NOT Hermes) sat the box down and I checked it over without lifting it up as it was a larger box, I signed for it and he rushed away. When I took the box in, I realised it was open and he had sat it open end down!! How sneaky! Imagine how I felt when I passed the box to my neighbour and had to explain that we didn't open it and that it was received that way and intentionally sat down on the open end. Thankfully nothing was missing but he should have been honest with me and I could have written that the box was open. Since then, any boxes I receive, I always make sure that I lift them to make sure they are not open at the bottom so just thought I'd add that to let everyone know to do the same as you'd need to write 'box opened or damaged' where you sign as, apparently, you'd have no comeback with the company if you didn't do this. Once again though, my experience with Hermes has been 100% and I've sent a lot of parcels over the last few years.
