There was a seemingly worrying lack of communication from unanswered emails asking if my jacket had arrived I did eventually receive a reply referencing the death of a family member and temporary closure.
Fully understand the disruption and grief involved and very much appreciate the subsequent emails keeping me updated.
In the greater scheme of things a jacket is not important but I was still made to feel a valued customer .
The jacket came back in great condition.
Good work and excellent service.

My jacket badly needed a re-wax and was looking rather shabby. When I recived the re-waxed coat I didn't recognise it, as it looked too good to be mine. They did an amazing job.

A faultless experience from start to finish. The communication was excellent as was the finished product (sleeve lengthening and relaxing). Great prices too. I'd highly recommend Oily Jack.

I had a Fjallraven jacket rewaxed. It came back looking great and well worth the money.

Absolutely thrilled with the results on my jacket! Oily Jack turned my battered old jacket into a battle hardened beast. The jacket wears its subtle repair patches like a badge of honour. Communication with the team was excellent and the workmanship is exceptional.

The waxed feel is absolutely back all over what had been a tired dry jacket.

Barbour would not customise my Brown and Green Corbridge Jackets. Repairs & alterations only. Oily Jack had no such qualms. I now have two totally unique jackets as a result of mixing different Brown & Green waxed materials for cuff & hem bindings, plus repair patches. Once waxed the jackets were superb. Both Sasha and Ashley were a joy to work with. You want some customisation?

I gave oily Jack my Merlin motorcycle jacket, which has been on many adventures with me, when I received it back clearly the rewaxing had been carried out and looks ready for the next adventure but more importantly to me it has retained its ‘lived in’ appearance, I was concerned it was going to be returned all shiney like a new pin, but what I received back was MY jacket with all its earned character. Great service, Great communication, the pick up and drop off was seamless.

An excellent service all round. I sent my RGT jacket to be re waxed and the team did such an amazing job it came back like new. Thank you to all the team, highly recommend, great service, great quality and great value for money

Friendly efficient service

Did a great job with the coat, waterproof but not greasy.
Went the extra mile to retrieve the coat after Royal Mail did their best to lose it.

Sent my jacket in for a pocket repair, clean and rewax. Took longer than expected (5 weeks), but came back this Christmas eve 2025 like new. I was very pleased. However, wore it out in January in light rain, for about 1 hour and the rain has came through the shoulders and back. It did'nt do this before I sent it in. I did send an email about this but never recieved any message back after 2 weeks. Sent another email asking about this 2 weeks ago and still no answer. Sending another email today 20th February 2026.
