Love Outfox
They are easy to deal with, and the customer service is quick, easy and fast to deal with any questions. Customer Service (via the chat) was really easy to navigate. None of the ENDLESS bot questions to be met with no solution. I clicked one button and spoke to someone.

Smart meters don’t always work

I was asked for a meter reading and I queried why I needed to do this when I have a smart meter to be told whilst my electric meter is working correctly my gas meter is not and was asked again for a meter reading. As at almost 76years old I’m unable to get down and read the gas meter as it’s on the floor and in the far corner of an under stairs cupboard I managed a few days later to get my son to read it and I sent it Ive had no acknowledgment of this but a further email asking me to complete an attached form however there is no form attached.

Refunding excess money accrued

Initially I had a query about a refund where i had been given the wrong information by Customer Service. Saleh took over, checked the recording of my call, confirmed the facts and agreed that on receipt of this month's DD he will arrange an emergency refund in 5 instead of 10 working days. He called back earlier than agreed and was honest that there had been an error. Both were appreciated

We have just switched to Outfox on a fixed rate deal.

We were struggling to understand the outside smart meter to send off a.the starting meter reading, we contacted the customer service team and received an immediate response from Danni (Team Outfox Energy), who sent a simple video explanation.

Very impressive and thank you.

Quick and efficient staff

Quick and efficient staff. The live chat interface on the web is not great though. Fails to reconnect and had to start live chat conversation 4 times. Staff very helpful.
