Scam, smart scam

Scam.

Tried it, seller requested to pay me through western union, contacted parcl support (that takes 1 week to answer each request), they said it's ok but to chose another provider, and didn't deactivated the sellers account but deleted my account

there is definitely a kind of misunderstanding in what had happened. Parcl accepts payments via PayPal only, this way our system can track the transactions and guarantee the refunds. No other payment options directly to forwarder (outside the Parcl's platform) can be mediated by our team, therefore they are completely forbidden. Anyway, we'll investigate this issue.

First time purchaser and so happy with my experience

This was my first time using Parcl and I was a little nervous about trusting an unknown person to help me mail a couple of rather large and expensive items to me in the U.S. I also read both the positive and negative reviews on Trustpilot so I was a bit weary of using a service I had no experience with.

However, I read all the great reviews about Artyom and I decided he was probably legit. :-) From the beginning to the very end he was so patient and helpful! Even with the large time difference (between US and Russia) he was always prompt to respond. I know I was not an easy purchaser to deal with because I had so much difficulty (over several days, if not a week) trying to pay for my items with an American credit card, as well as communicating with Russian shop owners about terms of delivery (to him). But it all worked out smoothly and my items arrived very well packaged for the long journey. I ordered two large wooden block sets and sometimes wooden toys get dented or damaged if not packed well and these arrived in perfect condition. And they arrived faster than I expected, even with all the craziness of the coronavirus worldwide quarantine going on right now.

I would absolutely recommend Artyom and would be happy to work with him again, especially now that I understand the whole process better. His prices are fair, he does an excellent job and is just a friendly person in general. Also, he speaks/writes English very well so communication is excellent. Thank you Artyom!

Yes but ... No

Everything went well for me but we don't feel safe on this site and I had the impression that if there had been a problem with the sender, I would have had trouble finding a Parcl contact to help me. I'm not sure i will reuse this service for this reason.

Very nice service

Very nice service. Of course it all depends on the "forwarder" you enlist, but my experience has been thoroughly satisfying. Speedy delivery and pretty doable, cost-wise.

6 months still waiting for a refund

I placed an order almost 6 months ago. It took the forwarder (labelled as a 'Forwarding Tycoon' with 4.8 stars and 97,000+ Parcl points) 2 weeks to reply to me and confirm the order will proceed. After over 3 months of delays and miscommunication between forwarder and the shop about 'parts' being delayed or missing from their inventory (doesn't really make sense as I ordered a jacket... as in no 'parts' to exist) I decided to cancel my order and asked for a full refund. It has now been an additional 3 months. I am still waiting for my refund from the forwarder who keeps telling me they are 'waiting to proceed with the refund'. I have also requested twice directly from Parcl for a refund (I guess Parcl also reimburses the processing fee part) and they have yet to respond to me as well. My overall experience with this transaction is terrible, I would not recommend and cannot help but think this entire thing is a scam and I will never see any refund.

I should mention the forwarders name is RS Logitech, I see someone else posted here about some bad service with them as well.

Forwarder was excellent

Forwarder was excellent. The service was reasonably priced. I was updated very often regarding the status of my item. The item arrived very quickly and was exactly what I requested. I would recommend this company to anyone and I look forward to using their service again.

Not received my refund

Made an order using one of your forwarders. Payment went through fine both to yourselves and the forwarder. However, when the retail couldn’t fulfil the order, forwarded refund his part fine but yourselves are refusing to refund your part. Tried emailing several times but no one comes back.

I had been looking for an item and the only place I was able to find it was out of my country. Unfortunately, the item I wanted wasn't able to be shipped directly to me. Then I found Parcl. This is a quick and efficient way of getting a package, where you otherwise wouldn't be able to. Parcl is like having a friend in another country. My personal experience was a great one and I would highly recommend using it. The only issue I found was that the interface was a pretty confusing to figure out and I was left unsure if I had even done it right at first. This is the reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5. I think with some streamlining on the browser end, Parcl could very well end up being the perfect solution to a logistical problem many of us face. This being said, If we're talking solely about trusting Parcl and the way it works, I would give a full 5 stars.

Had a great experience with Parcl! Items that I wouldn't usually be able to get because international shipping not being offered, is now no longer a problem! They use PayPal which was a huge plus for me, and they seem to have a great refund policy. Would definitely use Parcl again!

The best site ever

The best site ever, the best forwarding experience ever, and Aljassar is the best forwarder ever! Excellent, wonderful, great, most professional service. Viktor from customer service is always prompt in answering any queries and resolving any issues and is extremely professional, it's one of the best online services I have ever had and I use many online services, he is the most professional I have encountered so far! This is the second time I order Aljassar's service and it's simply perfect, he had made everything go so smoothly. He is so professional and prompt, always responds quickly to queries and orders the items right as he receives the payments and ships the items as he gets them. He has made my experience so wonderful and effortless. I extremely recommend using his service if you need anything from the countries he forwards from. I couldn't be happier and would definitely use his service again and would definitely recommend this site to anyone who needs to buy something from a site that does not ship internationally. New Order, New Scam

Update:
Even though the Parcl support team demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism by never replying to my message signalling a fraudulent user (they claim to reply within 2-3 business days but it's been about 2 weeks since I've contacted them via both email and Trustpilot), the forwarder proceeded to ship my order ''coincidently'' shortly after I published my review. Only (major) problem: because Parcl doesn't seem to take fraud by its users seriously, the forwarder has been persistently (through email, parcl.com chat and PayPal money request) asking me to give him back the money PayPal instructed him to refund me. This harassment has been going on for 2 weeks. I now have to go through PayPal costumer service to report the forwarder in the hopes of having him blocked to prevent him from sending me PayPal money requests for a sum I don't owe him. The lack of costumer support from Parcl allowed an unscrupulous forwarder to get off scot free after trying to commit fraud and gave him the freedom to harass me relentlessly on various platforms. Online shoppers, do yourself a favor and stay away from this website.

This is my second bad experience with Parcl.
I originally placed an order for a pair of pants sold by H&M Indonesia via a forwarder on the Parcl website. I ended up not receiving the right color and the forwarder was not interested whatsoever in finding a solution and proceeded to ignore the situation altogether. Even though I explained to him that I was open to negotiate in order to fix this problem, he stopped replying to my messages and I never heard from him again. Because of an absence of cooperation on the forwarder's part, I decided to open a dispute through PayPal that escalated into a claim. Thankfully, PayPal concluded that I should receive a partial refund and keep the faulty order to compensate for the forwarder’s mistake. I accepted the offer. The case was closed.
After some back and forth, Parcl customer support eventually offered a compensation for the amount that was not reimbursed during the PayPal dispute. The Parcl compensation combined with the partial refund from the PayPal dispute allowed me to get a full refund in the end.
Because I was still interested in getting the pair of pants that I originally wanted but never received, I placed a new order (#117349) with the same forwarder - unfortunately he was the only one who responded to my request so I had no other choice but to take the risk of working with him again. Long story short, after accepting my request, cashing my payment and receiving my order before shipping it, he unexpectedly decided to withhold my package and proceeded to blackmail me. He categorically refuses to ship my order unless I either give him an additional sum of money (that corresponds to the amount he lost in the PayPal dispute) or send him back the faulty previous order (which was never instructed in the PayPal dispute verdict). In my book, this is not how you do business - this is fraud. A scammer who deliberately refuses to play the game according to PayPal rules just ambushed me.
Because of this stressful situation, I now have to waste my time (again) opening a new dispute with PayPal, while the forwarder is illegally holding my money and my package hostage. In addition to this fiasco, I will probably end up never receiving my order but simply a refund because of my forwarder's uncooperative attitude. What's the point of directing users to PayPal in case of litigation if once on the Parcl website, scammers can sneakily go against PayPal policies and make up their own rules?

I am not even sure I will get refund with obvious scam from forwarder

I had ordered pc case using this website and picked forwarder from suggested. After contacting him he promised to deliver everything via drivers, then he asked another guy to tell me it will be sent via post and I will get 200$ tax. Then he said it is in Minsk and I have to pay him directly as local customs want this, I have refused, then he asked me to send written confirmation for local post as well. And then he stopped all communications. With all that said I have contacted support but no one is answering from their site and I am afraid customer support is poor here. Quite annoying as I have spent 400$. My nickname is Mackum 1997 on website.
