Delivery was very quick. The chair was fairly easy to put together. The written instructions worked better than the you tube version. Quality of the chair is good and it is very comfortable. Ideal for a bedroom chair

Nice chairs for the price
Nice chairs for the price, good communication re delivery. Would have been 5*s had there not been screws missing that were required for the assembly of the seats that were flat packed. Speedily sorted though and a pack of screws and bolts were delivered within 3 days by post.

Chairs were faulty then they sent…
Chairs were faulty then they sent another two again one was faulty and had no feedback about how there gonna solve it the delivery drivers charged me £80 which didn’t need paying as they never assembled my table and chairs they left me and my 13 year old son to do which took 3 hours!

We communicated with you throughout the process and kept you informed every step of the way. We apologise that one of the replacement chairs was also faulty, and we are currently waiting for you to confirm if you could fix the chair as you had told us.
Regarding the £80 fee charged by the delivery team, this was a mistake as they were unable to carry out the assembly service. As soon as this issue was brought to our attention, we refunded the full amount of £80 to you.
We deeply regret the inconvenience this situation has caused, especially with the assembly process taking longer than anticipated. Please rest assured that we are taking your feedback seriously to improve our services and ensure such issues do not occur in the future.

PENDLE VILLAGE FURNITURE - RECOMMENDED
Pendlevillage went out of their way to deliver a new table in time for some 'long-weekend' visitors.
We paid a little bit extra to have the table made up and it was WELL WORTH it. Took them about 1 hour - it would have taken us 1 week.

A great company to deal with.
At first I was a tad concerned that the Company was a long way away from us here in Norfolk but I should not have been. Contact was great both online and via the telephone. I found all staff helpful and accommodating, In fact they made me feel important to them as a customer. I was reassured by the attitude show to me so made my purchase of a Dining Table set which was priced with delivery and assembly reasonably and comparable with other firms more local to us. A delivery date was given by text message and the items arrived on the day and were put together by two very helpful delivery men. All packaging was removed from site. To be quite honest I could not fault the buying process and would have no issues with using them again should the need arise. Thank you all at Pendle Village Furniture, we just love our table and chairs.

Would not buy from them again!
Product took longer than the 5-10 days stated on website to deliver. We were not told a delivery date it just turned up, luckily someone was home. The product has multiple plucks and is lumpy. I was told thats how its meant to be and if i want to return its a minimum of £60 charge at my expense.

To clarify, the 5-10 days stated on our website refers to working days, and I can confirm that your order was dispatched and delivered within this timeframe. However, I completely understand the frustration caused by not being informed of the delivery date. We use a courier service to deliver our items, and they are responsible for contacting customers ahead of delivery. I will follow up with them to understand why you were not notified, as this is certainly not the standard we expect.
As for the product itself, the pictures you kindly shared showed a few loose threads on the dining bench, which we explained are not considered a fault. This can happen occasionally during manufacturing and does not impact the overall quality or durability of the product. Nevertheless, I understand that this may not have been what you expected, and I regret any inconvenience this has caused.

Ordered a dining table and chairs
Ordered a dining table and chairs, initially 4 week delivery expectation. However, due to a supplier issue this was extended out more than double of what we expected. Katy was in touch promptly, provided exceptional customer service throughout and prioritised the delivery of our table. Once it had arrived, we’re really happy with everything, especially the quality and Katy followed up with us to check that was the case. Would’ve scored 5/5, just the delay being the reason for the 4/5.

I absolutely love the Indus Valley 2…
I absolutely love the Indus Valley 2 door display cabinet, very quirky and exactly what I wanted. I especially wanted to support a small firm. Only disappointment was took over 7 weeks to arrive owing to manufacturing and the delivery company were inflexible with days and didn’t reply to emails. They did answer the 2 times I rang.
