Lady at Pluxee customer services talked me through everything as I had difficulty obtaining a gift voucher awarded to me.

got a card via giffgaff and it works but pluxee seems to work vert hard to not show you a balance. their website says to call a number in Milton Keynes and select the balance option... there isn't any such option
When i spoke with customer service they gave me the balance but when asked where and how i can find it they hung up. ONe can only assume that their business model is the money left on the card when people forget and it expires

I was given good information to do what was needed

Upon sending my email explaining my difficulty Kirstie from Customer Services answered my query so very quickly, without pressure and kindly. I was very impressed.

This is absolutely useless. I cannot top up with ANY card from ANY of the (over 5 banks) my wife or I have a bank account with. It's completely ridiculous. "The Authorisation has been rejected by the Vendor due to insufficient authentication"
I've spent hours trying to sort this out. Stay away.

It's a great card that provides cashback. You just have to make sure you keep topping it up!

There are definitely issues with the site because even after your letter with instructions it took four attempts this morning before it would work correctly!
It kept selecting Tesco’s after I had specified and selected Sainsbury’s!

Very, very bad experience. Anyone considering using Pluxee - employers or employees, should be aware that if a gift card cannot be redeemed, Pluxee will be completely disinterested and flatly refuse to refund it.
This could easily lead to a loss of hundreds, depending how big a risk a person is taking by buying a gift card from them. If you read their small print, they've been very careful to cover their own back - so putting any money onto one of their gift cards is a huge gamble.. and could lead to total loss.
I found this out when I bought a Boots gift card. Reputable company, right? The card could only be used online.. and despite my trying many, many times over the space of weeks, the boots website would not accept it. Boots customer service could not identify why, and directed me to Pluxee, who basically stated that they accepted no liability at all for one of their gift cards not being redeemable. Truthfully, I think the error was with the Boots website - but Pluxee do not care, once they have your money. They sold the gift card, so if it is not fit for the purpose sold - they should either resolve the problem, or refund the purchase.
If you are a company considering using Pluxee, I would *strongly* advise you to reconsider. You are opening up your employees to considerable financial loss. I spoke to their customer service team at great length, very patiently and politely. But in the end, I was told that if a gift card just does not work and you are unable to purchase anything with it - that's your problem. They will not refund a gift card, even when they know for a fact it has not been used.
I was lucky that my card was less than £100 in value. For some other retailers I had been putting on £500 at a time. Without realising that every time I did so I was risking loosing the whole amount. I won't be doing that again!!!
If anyone wants to contact me I am happy to supply a copy of the whole conversation with Pluxee customer service.
Huge amount of time wasted, fairly considerable amount of money lost. So much for consumer rights!
EDIT: As can be seen, Pluxee asked me to supply them with further details on the 25/2/2026, which I promptly did. But they have since not responded at all - which really is a validation of everything I have said above.
Do not trust this organisation with your money!

I've had a cashback card with Pluxee for a few years now and had always struggled getting in contact to discuss issues. I managed to update my postal address a few weeks ago and have been making transfers with no issues.
I went to make a transfer today and it was blocked. I called Pluxee and it was due to an error on their side as my house number had been inputted twice by them. This means I can not access the money I sent on any account, as it has been marked as pending, and now I have no money for food. I was told by Pluxee that there was nothing they could do other than send me an email to send to my bank, which my bank have confirmed they won't accept.
I have closed this account now as this sort of error has a huge impact on people and shows a clear need on Pluxee's side to have better administrative systems. I have been nothing but disappointed with Pluxee and feel I should have closed my account years ago.

Pluxee have charged my debit card/bank account TWICE for a payment - even though each time I tried to make the payment it was unsuccessful!!! There is no customer support. Nothing on the app to cancel or refund the payment. After this experience I will not be using it ever again . . . and I want my money back in my account so please get in contact to make this right ASAP!

Very unfriendly rude 'service' from Graham. You can provide information to customers without being so rude. Needs better training.
Edit to reply - further rude response from Coral 'Pod Lead' - must be where the agents get their poor attitudes from. Anyway, we spent the £1700 we were trying to spend with Pluxee with a competitor instead.
