I swapped my cat onto raw food as I wanted to do everything I can for her to be a healthy weight and have a long life. I was previously feeding a different raw brand but swapped to Poppys Picnic as it’s portion controlled and I only need to defrost the exact amount I require. I can see the quality of ingredients in the meatballs and she loves them. Her coat is silky and now I can monitor her calories easily. The customer service is great and delivery is quick and easy.

No fuss raw food that goes down a treat! Takes away all the stress of ensuring you have the right combinations of ingredients to give a balanced diet - easy! Heartily recommended.

Excellent quality food. My rescue working cocker loves it and she’s fussy after a bad start in life with a high worm load and gastro issues.
Delivery is swift and well packaged.
I wish you did a freeze dried raw kibble - then I could buy all my food from you.
Love supporting a great quality, well priced, great service company.

The best dog food! I honestly would never change it. My dog likes to eat it frozen he has the powerballs. So I just pop out the amount he needs - utter bliss.
Only 4 stars due to packaging. Better insulation is needed. I’ve had past issues where the food has come completely deforested which they resolved (communication top tier) but then it happened again a few months later - no ice packs just polystyrene sheets inside. I was tempted to try other brands but honestly it’s the best food! I wish one day they will be able to stock in pets at home or at least every Asda so I can just collect it.
Our dogs been on poppys for about 2 years. We have used various well known raw food before and poppys is just 10/10 for food qualities

Firstly, their product saved my Cat's lives. Both suffering from Hypothyroidism, one worse than the other.
Secondly, nothing is too much trouble for them. There have been a number of occasions when I have miscalculated the packs I needed, once I had made contact, they were so quick to respond and sorted it out so I didn't run out.
Lastly, their communication is brilliant, I always knew what was happening and when.

Delivery very efficient. Food is second to none. I have tried all brands of raw food and this beats the lot. My dog loves it and the balls help me maintain his weight. First class

Excellent food, my Welsh terrier started on Poppy’s Picnic puppy food & progressed to adult meals. She is now 7.5, fit, healthy with great teeth. I would highly recommend PO’s raw food, it’s natural & the only thing we add is a spoonful of bran to help with her bowels & prevent impacted glands.

I have a Shih Tzu who can be fussy. I find the meatballs great as she can have them either dry fried or raw. I like the high meat content, and the well sourced and good quality ingredients.
I did have a problem with one delivery where the chicken meatballs were defrosted . A phone call and a refund was issued with no hesitation so excellent customer service and I am happy to recommend.

Easy to order and our dog, Murray, clears the bowl every time! Good choice of food options and now able to order smaller batches.

Excellent freshly frozen dog food. My 2 labs aged 13months have had poppys picnic since they were little. And the very fuzzy labadoodle we now has likes it too.Theres several flavours they have tried but the chicken and lamb ones are their favourite. There's no rubbish in them, they are idea tray sizes. If you bulk order on subscription you save money and just put them in the freezer and take out as needed. I take 2 days worth out at a time and put them in the fridge. Excellent supreme quality raw high protein dog food. They do cat food too.

One very happy schnauzer after finding Poppys Picnic. She used to be a very picky eater! Threw away more food than she ate since changing her to Poppys picnic many moons ago always wolfs it down and licks her bowl clean!! Excellent customer service both mg is too much b trouble for them.

Ordering and delivery all good.
My dogs love PP and it’s the one raw dog food that they poop without needing extra veg.
My only slight negative, is the package.
The cardboard outer is good, it’s just the plastic inside, as you need to wrap it.
I’d prefer a lid.
Still love the food though!

Never looks as advertised, will arrive with some partially & others fully defrosted. So some obviously wasted.
When contacted about this they say I'm the only one, yet on a Facebook page I'm plainly not the only one!
& to add insult to injury you can only
order in set amounts.
I am no longer subscribed & both our dogs are on a different food.

Wolfie has eaten Poppy’s picnic since he was a puppy, now 8. The ordering is easy, delivery is seamless & the packaging damage proof. He’s happy so I’m happy

One of my cats loves their little chicken meatballs style raw food. It's very easy to portion the raw food as it's in little meatballs. The only think I wish they did was better options to change the frequency of your subscription - at present you can choose the date for your next delivery but not the frequency i.e every 2 weeks.

Excellent service and Cisco loves his meat balls

Absolutely brilliant food. Cats love it and the meatballs are quick to defrost. Especially convenient for single-cat households!

Our dogs love the Power Balls, as tiny dachshunds its really easy to get their portions right with serving them a set number of balls and the vet is always really pleased with their weight and condition. They are healthy with beautiful shiny coats.
The subscription model makes it easy to always have it in the freezer and at no point in the 3 years we've used Poppy's Picnic have the dogs left the food or decided not to eat it. Also their poos are much less disgusting to deal with!

My fussy little miniature dachshund loves this food and I'm so happy that she's getting really good quality, natural ingredients. I've always found the customer service to be fantastic and delivery is always on time.
