Appalling customer service and…
Appalling customer service and overcharged by over £74
I am extremely concerned and frustrated with my experience with RAC Car Insurance. Over the last 14 days, I have been trying to resolve an issue where I was overcharged by more than £74, which was taken directly from my account.
Trying to get support has been practically impossible. The online chat service is completely useless as it only connects to an automated bot, and I cannot find a direct phone number to speak to a real person to request my money back. On top of that, I have sent two separate emails to RAC and have received zero response.
Taking extra funds without providing a clear, accessible way for customers to resolve billing errors or request a refund is completely unacceptable. I need this rectified and my money returned immediately.

What ever you do keep away from this RIP OFF company
What ever you do don't take online insurance with this rip off company when you come to change vehicle the price goes up massively so you look round and find a really good price with a company but still have a couple of months left you go to cancel but charge you £45 for the pleasure but you can't speak to a real person this company is a complete RIP OFFand and i will never ever buy another policy or anything from them again

Confusing email messages.…
I was confused by the email messages I received after taking out the policy regarding previous claims. I had provided all the information about these claims but the email suggested I had not. Subsequently through the on line chat service it would seem that the fire claim had been duplicated at some stage on the CUE. This was rather concerning and although the new policy is active I was informed by the on line representative that it may affect any future claims I may make.

Excellent prices as my existing policy had increased my cover by over £100 to over £400. I found the RAC covered the exact same policy for just over £300 saving me a significant amount.

Easy to use website and competitive pricing. I particularly liked the way you can easily add extras to the basic quote. Both my own vehicle and my wife’s car are now insured with the RAC. Highly recommended 5 star experience.

Absolutely poor insurance service
Absolutely poor insurance service, wish i'd never moved to them
I had an accident hitting an animal on a motorway at night. The car was undriveable.
I contacted them thinking they will get things sorted. They passed me to a completely different company, who the called for a different break down company to come and transport my car to a garage, and to top it all, they won't be taking me home. They will drop me at the nearest train or Bus station
From reporting time to pickup , it has taken 4 hours and still waiting
I can assure you that this isn't how insurance companies should operate.

Received good advance notification of renewal quote which allowed time to review and decide either to continue with the RAC quotation. Obviously renewing ment using the RAC service once again as in previous years. The quotation provided proved to very competitive which is always good.
