I ordered a NES30 Pro gamepad and paid for priority shipping on 5/11 so i would have it with in a few days but however that did not happen. On the 5/16 the shipping was still showing "Order Placed" so I contacted the company. The only way possible was through email. I was asking if it has been shipped yet in case my tracking wasn't updating and no response but the next day on the 17th and the status changed to "USPS is waiting on item". Then on 5/21 the shipping status was still "USPS is waiting on item" so I contacted the company again and got no answer again but how ever on the 5/22 USPS finally had the item and I received on the 25th. Then comes the next probem, when I opened the box it is not what I ordered. The company sent a SN30 Pro when I ordered a NES30 Pro which is to different gamepad. They may look similar up front but the thumb sticks and shoulder buttons are different, plus on top of that I already had a SN30 Pro so I definitely didn't need this one. So I contacted the company again so I could do a return and get the correct on or at least get my money back and once again no answer. Im not sure what to do at this point im half tempted to contact the BBB cause in all honesty I starting to feel like I was robbed since nobody want to fix the issue and im stuck with something I don't need/want.

I am very much a fan of this

I am very much a fan of this, there's only 2 things that I don't like. One is there isn't enough usb connections on the back for 2 controllers. And also with some of the libraries like nes you have to completly restart the device to exit the game and go back to the game selection screen. But that's just nit picking otherwise it is a phenomenal device!

Happy but one thing is wrong

I like the game system but the Pokémon puzzle league on Nintendo 64 does not work. I launched it and it would never launch… I never had a problem with any of the other games so far….

Retro Naut has been great to me. Very Reliable.

Retro Naut has been great to me.

Customer service was great. From my first email to the very last, I was treated with the utmost respect and curtesy. The team answered all of my questions, they followed through with all of their promises, and were committed to making sure I was happy with my purchase.

I ordered my Nvidia Shield back around the second week of December 2021 and it arrived before Christmas, which was a miracle. With so many issues going on with deliveries nationwide during that time, I was mentally getting ready to receive the order late, but it arrive on time, beating my expectations.

Due some supply issues, some of the items I ordered were being delayed, but the Retro Naut team kept me informed throughout the entire time. Not only were they able to get me better replacements for some of the game controllers that were delayed, they were also able to refund me the difference.

I had an excellent experience with Retro Naut.

Product Was Never Shipped

Tracking was sent after several days and multiple emails asking for the status. Nothing was ever shipped though after a week. I finally filed a complaint with Paypal, and they refunded my money. STAY AWAY!

A few complaints

The company had a shipping issue that resulted in them resending the device which was fine, they had included a hdd with it that I don't recall having to pay extra for which was great. Their are a few reasons why I only gave them 2 stars.

1.) The included hard-drive is small capacity.

2.) Some of the games I requested were not on the device, even though I had specified for them to be added.

3.) When I went to copy the hdd contents to a larger hdd so that I could add those games, the device didn't recognize the new hdd and wouldn't 'see' the games on it.

4.) The commodore 64 games don't work without the commodore pass codes, and while I found a few passcodes online it appears the retro naut doesn't let you enter anything in the spaces where you are supposed to type the codes.

5.) The controller setup is wrong, it has several buttons flipped and I found that when I button Map my controller it only uses the mappings while playing the games and not while on the homescreen or menus, which made navigating a pain.

I will say that the running of the games was smooth and I found loading the games easier than I expected, and while the company had no support after my receiving of the device they did try to fix the shipping issue that had occured before I received it.

After a while I just stopped using the device and instead copied the games from the hdd to my everdrives, saved me hours of rom hunting.

An excellent collection of games with…

An excellent collection of games with the added benefit of save states (which have really come in handy on my chrono trigger playthrough). It's a sleek little machine with more games than I ever could hope to play. Great customer service too!

I love this company not only very helpful but I return something items and change for another item with no problems at all frist came a weird way do to holiday time but it got here in one piece but I would think that u would love old classic games this is for u hooray

Misleading Shipping Timeframe, Missing Power Cord, No Reply

A couple of days after payment, I received a shipping tracking number, but the unit was not actually shipped until 2 weeks later.

Upon receipt, I found that the NVIDIA power cord was missing. I used their site chat and left 2 messages, but never saw a reply to my email as promised.

Still waiting to hear from Retro Naut to resolve this issue.

After payment all I have is a pre shipping label

I will echo what several other people have said. I ordered on jan 3rd and received a tracking number but when I check the number it states that it’s a pre shipping label and that no package has been received. I started emailing everyday for the last week and no response. If shipping is the problem or if your just a dead beat at least respond to emails geez.

Update: I received what I ordered but it’s used and in terrible shape. The files don’t load and the hardware looks like it has water damage. I was told by the “company” that he buys used/refurbished from some Amazon dealer and then just sends them on out. Got ahold of him through Facebook messenger and let him know his stuff was used and junk that didn’t work. I just got my replacement one today, it’s looks to be in better shape but same crap it doesn’t load the files.
