Excellent service from start to finish

Booked 2 scooters for a tour of Tenerife through Riderly.The company were excellent from start to finish, answering all our queries quickly and fully. They checked everything went well with the hire too. The local company used via Riderly were excellent as well. All in all a really good experience. Wouldn’t hesitate in using them in the future.

I had the pleasure of renting a BMW XR…

I had the pleasure of renting a BMW XR 900 from the local office in Nice, France. The staff there were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We embarked on day trips along the breathtaking coastlines of both Italy and France, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. These picturesque destinations, coupled with the power and grace of the BMW XR 900, made for an unforgettable journey. Many thanks for facilitating such a remarkable adventure!

Rent went smooth. Weekend on Malta was perfect.
I had few questions and made mistake with timing while booking the bike so this girl Helena from Riderly took care of everything.

5 weeks motor rental

I rent a motorbike 5 weeks to cross all vietnam, it was just perfect, well organised, very friendly , helpfull when needed, it allow me to have my best holiday ever. Many thanks , very professional.

I am really disappointed by the service…

I am really disappointed by the service of Riderly. Note: check your partners who are applying on your platform. First and last time I booked on Riderly.

My review in the google maps for the rental:
Caution: Watch out for scams. Be sure to take detailed photos of the scooter beforehand. We faced efforts to attribute various scratches to us, but managed to demonstrate their pre-existing condition through the pictures.

The service is extremely slow with significant communication problems, resulting in a frustrating experience overall. Despite pre-booking a specific scooter, it was unavailable, leading to a cumbersome negotiation for an alternative model. Furthermore, the agreed-upon accessories like straps and luggage rack were missing, despite being part of the package.

Moreover, they tried to sell us helmets with faulty fasteners, creating a negligent and unsafe situation. Eventually, they claimed the engine was damaged due to an oil change, despite it functioning perfectly and recently being in use. Additionally, the pricing was unreasonably high. In summary, this was a costly and unsatisfactory experience, not worth recommending. It's advisable to find a more professional and dependable service provider.

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. I can see from internal logs that details were scarce at the time of this review, but I can see now that a senior member of our escalations team has already reached out to you personally and to the rental provider to find out what happened, and aim to remediate the situation. Unfortunately we had not been made aware of any issues with this rental until the time of this review.

We can assure you that we place a huge amount of effort and ongoing monitoring for each and every one of our providers on Riderly to ensure we only work with the very best companies in each city - it makes our lives, and more importantly those of our 30,000 customers each year, much easier!

UPDATE (26th Feb)

Based on the investigation carried out by our escalations team 6 out of the 7 issues reported by this customer were found to be without basis, and 1 of 7 did effectively occur due to the customer knowingly violating the terms contract resulting in a 50 USD surcharge by the rental provider.

1. "check your partners who are applying on your platform" - We place a huge amount of importance on each of our global rental partners quality of service, the provider in question has over 1,600 reviews with an overall rating of 4.9 stars. No policy or standard of service violations were found as a result of this investigation or our ongoing monitoring procedures.

2. "The service is extremely slow with significant communication problems" - All written communication between this customer and Riderly had an average response time of less than 3hrs.

3. "Despite pre-booking a specific scooter, it was unavailable" - The vehicle selected by the customer was indeed available but not permitted to exit the city of Hanoi (110cc scooter + a pillion). This was specified prior to the time of booking, the customer notified 2 weeks before arrival but failed to provide a response. On the day rather than voiding the reservation, the rental provider offer a suitable vehicle which allowed exit outside city bounds, and with sufficient horsepower for their intended 1,500km route across Vietnam. This was ultimately found to be the customers responsibility and resolved amicably.

4. "accessories like straps and luggage rack were missing" - The rental provider submitted CCTV evidence demonstrating the handover and return process, on which all the requested accessories were provided in full and in good condition. Unfortunately we found no basis for this claim

5. "helmets with faulty fasteners" - Photographic evidence received during our investigation found satisfactory and compliant helmets were provided.

6. "efforts to attribute various scratches to us" - CCTV evidence of the handover process did not indicate this event occurred.

7. "engine was damaged due to an oil change" - The customer was explained, as well as highlighted in the contract, that a 5 USD oil change was required once 950km were driven. The customer failed to perform this despite driving 1500km. The rental office had to perform a surcharge as the vehicle had to be taken offline for preventative maintenance which causes a direct loss of revenue for them. Preventative maintenance in circumstances such as this is contractually warranted and exists for the safety of all customers.

Nonetheless we were able to negotiate a satisfactory resolution of this deduction with the rental provider on the clients behalf.

I’m an experienced rider from Sweden…

I’m an experienced rider from Sweden riding in the Marocko desert for the second time. I had a superfun trip and my bike worked perfect. A KTM Adventure 890 R. I’m really very pleased with Ridely. The service has been great with a positive attitude. Excellent precise communication too. Me and my friends will rent here again next winter. 😎

5 weeks rental motorbike

Thank you. It was exellent well organised, i rented 5 weeks a motorbike and drove from north to south 3800km.
Unbeleivable. An amazing holiday.

Awesome service

Awesome service! We tried to rent a scooter during high season which was really difficult but thanks to Riderly everything worked smoothly. The team managed everything. Especially when not speaking the local language, Riderly was a great help because of their professional and transparent service.

Riderly provides outstanding performance

Riderly was very flexible when I asked to change the ordered model.
Moreover, Lucas, Carlos and the team behind supported me closely when the ordered motorbike was not available due to an accident and took care for compensation.

Riderly folks are the best!

I had hired a vehicle through Riderly…exceptional customer service

I had hired a vehicle through Riderly but unfortunately due to a below standard service from their partner the reservation was not successful. The team at Riderly ( as especially Carlos) went above and beyond from a customer experience perspective and really went the extra mile for me when they could have easily pointed fingers to their partner company. Kudos to them. Best customer service I have experienced in years and will certainly use them again.
