Excellent service, easy to use website and extremely quick delivery, ordered and goods arrived within a few days and that’s with Christmas post delays!! They are a present so can’t comment yet about the goods but they look very nice and look good quality.

My shoes arrived well before expected. The site said that they would be available in January but I got them in early December, after ordering in late November. A welcome surprise when I was prepared for a long wait!

Obviously I can't speak to their durability yet, but they fit absolutely perfectly (size 9 UK). They feel very stable and supportive everywhere they should, and don't feel too heavy either. These are going to be my general footwear so they should get a lot of use.

I've wanted this style of retro hiking trainers for absolutely ages after missing out on the North Face back to Berkeley low they used to do in a similar style. I'd like to see a few more choices for the Monty, and would consider buying some low-top designs as well if they came in less contrasting and more uniform colours.

Turnaround time from order to deliver was about 2 months. The shoes are good looking but not all that comfortable. Certainly not the ‘all day’ shoes I was hoping for.

After reading the reviews on here I was worried, but it was a great service (arrived 2 days after ordering) and really nice boots! I think some people just don’t understand the ‘Pre-order’ system perhaps.. Anyway I would highly recommend 👍🏻

I am extremely happy with the Ridgemont Outfitters experience :) I bought a pair of their Monty Lo trainers for my partners birthday and even though they were on preorder Nicky from Ridgemont kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I received them in time. They look amazing and are such high quality shoes. Would definitely recommend!

They are on my feet 24/7!
They are most universal boot for any situation!

It wasn't clear on the website how long it would take for the shoes to be delivered. It took 2 months before they were dispatched.

Love my Outback II. Great quality, perfect for exploring the city

I ordered the Monty Lo on pre-order in early October. Apparently there had been an ordering snafoo in the warehouse and there weren't enough size 12s to go out. I had to email them to find this out. It was either wait 'til January, money back or alternative shoe. I was planning on walking a lot in the winter so I chose alternative, which turned out to be a good deal as they were almost double the price. The customer service person was very apologetic and helpful- so much so that I almost gave them 4 out of 5. It's just a shame that I didn't get exactly what I ordered for that reason I'll give it a 3.

Ordered the Outback II in June 2019, loved the style of these even though they seemed a little pricey, wasn't disappointed when they eventually arrived though, looked even better in the flesh! Little heel rub to start with just on one side but, once worn in, these have been the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, and have aged beautifully!
Had an issue with the left shoe recently where the stitching had started to come apart, fully expected to have to pay for a new pair (which I would without hesitation because they're so good!), quick email and some photo's of the affected area and Ridgmont agreed it was a warrantee issue and sent out a replacement pair free of charge!
Really can't fault the service at all, good to see a company standing by the quality of their product, I'll definitely order from Ridgemont again!
