Don't bother going to ridgeons unless it's at a time to suit them. The website said they closed at 430, the chap on the phone never mentioned they close at 4.00 for whatever reason. Thanks for wasting my time and diesel.

Due to Covid-19 the materials I needed for my project had a long lead time. However Ridgeons (Norwich branch) managed to source what I needed in time for the project start date. When the materials were delivered I made the mistake of asking the delivery driver to offload them in the work area. This was a mistake on my part and one that would have caused problems for the contractors. I contacted Ridgeons and asked them if their driver could call back and re-site the materials thinking that they wouldn't. I couldn't have been more wrong and Ridgeons couldn't have been more obliging. Their driver returned to site and moved the materials. A big thank you to Ridgeons (Norwich branch). Especially Lee who arranged for the driver to call back and Dave who done the work. Great customer service guys.

Since setting up my business a few years ago I've come to expect good prices and great service from the management team of Lynn and Craig at St Ives. The bar has now been raised again by their new driver Matt. Always on time and polite as you'd expect, but Matt has volunteered to help move my delivery into my workshop by hand on every occasion rain or shine, which is very welcome when looking at a big pile of 18mm birch ply! Thanks All.

Very efficient sales person Robert Minto at the March office helped with my order and offered the best deal. Delivery was on time and the guy was polite and helpful even let us video the lorry as our grandson is obsessed with winches.

The delivery guy took the time to call , opps mobile number incorrect - he rang his office they rang me , and then the driver calls me on the correct number. Asked where i wanted the delivery.

I have been working with Ridgeons in Sawbridgeworth for many years and my builder has always used them for as much as we can. Everyone is incredibly helpful and they will always go the extra mile for you and endeavour to be as competitively priced as possible. I used Ridgeons Martlesham for the last couple of years to supply majority of building materials for a new build (large house). Overall very happy. Good service and good pricing. I have been particularly impressed by service from Wally in the branch office and also Alan Morley out in the field. Both of whom have always been incredibly responsive and often gone way beyond normal customer service to fix and make up for problems caused by manufacturers. I used Ridgeons not only for bricks, cement, timber etc but to my surprise they also offered me great pricing on things like the fancy Neff ovens and even the new Vaillant gas boiler!

St ives is great always get my paint mixed here helpful and friendly wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!!!
