Samsung Neglect the elderly!

Neglect the elderly!
My grandad is 91 years old and asked me to call Samsung warranty on his behalf to book a repair for his washing machine. They have a strenuous troubleshooting process that he can not do as he doesnt have a smartphone and is not strong enough to investigate the machine. They say if he does not troubleshoot with a smartphone he would have to pay to send someone to repair the machine. He already pays insurance. They do not take their customers into consideration.

Arrrhhhhh!!!

Trying to sort out getting my 11 month old tablet repaired was such a nightmare that in the end I gave up and bought an iPad. I liked the tablet but will never buy again because of such a disgraceful and stressful experience. For anyone honest and decent out there please don’t go through the same.

It could be more faster

They took four weeks to fix the product, including two weeks for an engineer to diagnose the problem and another week and a half for parts.

5 times tried to call Samsung about a microwave which was only 6 weeks old

First and second call was cut off, 3rd and 4th could not understand the person on the phone. Tried to log the faulty on the AI website - this was trying to charge me over £170 for a repair (only 6 weeks old)

5th time of calling just about understood the person and they were collecting a week later, so probably would have been without a microwave for 3-4 weeks

Awful

Awful. Enamel in our £200 Microwave developed a chip / corroded slightly after just a few months.

We have followed the instructions exactly including cleaning using a cloth and boiled water, we haven't used abrasive cleaners, and have cleaned up spillages.

Samsung were completely unhelpful, refusing to fix it and telling me I have misused it. Even though the warranty says the enamel is covered for 5 years!

Clearly the issue is their poor quality products and arrogance.

Shocking and will never buy a Samsung product again

Don’t rely on samsung warranty

Don’t rely on samsung warranty, worst experience I’ve ever had. Bolt fell out of washing machine lock with broken plastic still attached. After weeks of back and forward they eventually sent an engineer to determine fault. Engineer without my permission proceeded to take door seal off and locking system out which are different parts from that which was broken. When I asked what he was doing he said checking for damage. I asked did you find any, he said no. Agreed the part had failed but then said but that doesn’t matter as he cant tell if I hadn't taken a screwdriver to it. I asked did he mean I used a screwdriver to break something that was working and explaining that made no sense. He said maybe you thought the door lock was loose and tried to tighten it. At that point I asked him to leave my house. I see another customer with a video showing the exact same bolt with plastic attached complaining from January this year. Its not even an expensive repair, its cost them more to try deny blame than to fix it. I’ll never buy a samsung product again. Appalling service 😢

Please stay away from Samsung they don’t honor their warranty. I was told someone was coming to check my stove so I took off from work just to get a text just an hour prior telling me that the part hadn’t arrived so they were going to reschedule. First of we never spoke about replacing any parts and that’s not what I was told and when I was transferred to speak to someone in Samsung as I was explaining to the guy my situation he hung up on me.

Samsung QLED TV 65 inch Model Number…

Samsung QLED TV 65 inch Model Number QE65S95B died after 2.5 years and new spare parts are not available anywhere. Online discussion board websites are full of customers stating that these TVs die due to faulty power supply board in as short as within a month or right after the warranty expires. Pls stay away of Samsung TVs.

Update:I have contacted helpline and as per their advise I searched on the website (samsungspares) as advised in support email but the part I needed is not available on this website.

As per the second advise I have called the "Samsung Authorised Repair Centre - Martin Dawes Winsford – 0160 686 9648" and they stated that they don't provide parts.

This is clearly a breach of the "Right to Repair Act 2021" where a manufacturer is responsible to provide spare parts till 7 to 10 years after a model is discontinued.

My Samsung TV is a 2022 model QE65S95B bought for £1500 in January 2023 and died in October 2025.

Hence contacting Samsung Support is not getting anywhere.

I was so disappointed

I was so disappointed. I called Samsung manager to complain about the warranty issue, and she hang up on me. My phone was still on warranty, but Samsung refused the repair of the screen, because the was a small scratch on the phone, probably done by the keys in my pocket. I called service, then ask for manager and when I told her that I could not believe that they will not honor the warranty, she hang up on me. The Samsung warranty is a scam :(

Sent a tablet back to Samsung for repair under warranty.

Sent a tablet back to Samsung for repair under 3 year extended warranty. Sent on a Wednesday at 13.00 hrs
Received by Samsung Thursday at 14.22 hrs. Friday at 1122 hrs, I got email stating inspection completed no fault found. Saturday 10.45 got device back. Still faulty. Contacted customer service initially a chatbot, then a person. They suggested I send a video to tech support showing problem. Samsung want to be tech leaders but are only interested in collecting money. In my experience repair services are none existent.

5 year warranty scam

5 year warranty scam. Rest assured that all the other reviews saying the same thing are 100% spot on. Have several samsung devices in my home, mostly due to the 5 year warranty. This is an imaginery warranty, doesnt exist. I have registered 3 of the devices for the warranty on the samsung account. Have proof of registration time and receipts. I only received a confirmation email for one. Called up this week to be told none are covered. Even after sending the email headed ‘confirmation of your 5 year warranty’ and submitting my warranty code (to which they said is pointless as they dont use them)it took days before any action was taken. Honestly a joke and will be the last samsung device/product I ever buy. In the market right now for a dishwasher, this will now be LG. Lets give them a chance, wont be any worse than this I know that.

Samsung Warranty is Fraud!

My zfold developed an issue due to a defect, however upon sending it to Samsung for repair I was sent an updated bill from $0 under warranty to $575 not under Warranty bill. I was unable to communicate directly with the repair person instead I spoke first to a foreign agent in customer service who gave me a number saying it was the repair center, however this was another foreign agent Maya both agents gave me different reasons for the charge. Its Fraud and its frustrating because I know I am just speaking with a person who has no idea about my phone and no matter what I say it will make no difference. I even requested a supervisor which Maya told me there is no supervisor at her location and if there was they would say the same thing....My Samsung days ended today, and when I get my phone back that I told them not to repair i will probably drop kick it into the lake. Buyer beware if buying a Zfold the inner screen may go out and they will not honor the warranty!!!

5 YEAR WARRANTEE IS A SCAM.

5 YEAR WARRANTEE IS A SCAM . Like so many other here I found the 5 year warrantee on my Samsung Washing machine is worth next to nothing. Water started leaking out of the drum and they consider it fair wear and tear because the rubber is not covered by the warrantee despite it saying that all parts were covered. All the customer service staff are in India and even they obfuscate all the time and are obviously trained to stop you getting the service you should legally be entitled to . Would have cost me 149 pound to get them to come out to put it right when I can get a new washing machine for only 100 more and have a 2 year warrantee with John Lewis and no hassle.

Very disappointed with Samsung

Very disappointed with Samsung, I bought a heat pump dryer from them and now it's broken for the second time, it's a piece of krap. It's only 4 yrs old and has had the mother board replaced already, now Samsung are saying they can't understand me when I'm talking and even though they said I'm still covered the repairman hasn't shown up in a month. Im getting a new dryer anything besides Samsung as they can't be trusted. It cost 799 euros and not worth a curse, it's leaking, it's stopping on it's own no warning, not drying properly. Never will I buy this make again.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG!

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG!!

Raging is an understatement!

I brought a Samsung washing machine 15/04/24. I look after it, I buy like scale tablets and Never over load. I have warranty until 15/04/26!

Well bearings have gone. Engineer has confirmed. But when the bearing failed it brought up an error code. For unbalanced load. So because of this Samsung WILL NOT honour the warranty. Yet a load will become unbalance if the bearings were failing!

Shocking reviews on them now since I’ve looked into it. I’m not the only one this has happened too!! I made them a promise that I will take it further. I’m the wrong person to try it with!

I have taken this to the new papers
