Disappointed with warranty and correct information

The customer service phone representatives determined that they would not be able to solve my refrigerator issue. They told me there no warranty ( purchase 2021) coverage when there is a 5 year warranty period that covers sealed refrigeration system. Since I was told no warranty I had it repaired and then discovered the 5 year coverage. Long story, short, Samsung refused to accept any responsibility for ruined food or reimbursement for the repair. Very disappointing

Appalling customer service

If I could give no stars, I would. Waiting for a washer repair under warranty. Nearly a week in & nobody has contacted me to arrange anything. Had a text to say they have tried to contact me but no missed calls so I don't believe it. Text gives a phone number to call back but impossible to get through. Waited for over 20 minutes & was number 2 in the queue from the start. Don't think there is anybody answering calls.
Tried the live chat & just get fobbed off. Told a manager will contact me but I doubt it. Pushed them for the status on the repair & told it will be another 2 weeks, so that will be nearly 3 weeks with no washing machine.
I have previously opted for Samsung products due to the quality of their products. However, the lack of customer service for warranty repairs will make me think twice about using Samsung in the future. I just get the impression they are not interested in warranty repairs & just want me to go away.

Can I go lower than 1 star

Can I go lower than 1 star? Brand new fridge died after 6 months. Going on 3 weeks of back & forth with Samsung customer support. It stinks. I have to call back to get information all the time. They send text messages with links that don't work. Their online refund portal doesn't allow me to login and they send more links that don't work. Awful experience. One person tells me one thing and the next person tells me something different. Also, they will switch me to multiple people on a single call and each person asks me to verify ALL my information (address, phone, email, name, etc.). Horrible service. I had to buy a new fridge which I still don't have (from another vendor / not a Samsung) and still waiting on my refund. Lucky I can afford to do this, but I'm sure many people can't.

Fixing microwave under warranty - one month and counting

An update - May 16, 2024. It turned out that Samsung will repair the microwave but I will have to pay someone to have the microwave taken down and placed on the counter (it is over-the range-microwave and what is broken in it, is the exhaust fan). I am not a handy man and it will cost me probably the same amount of money to have this item uninstalled and then installed above the stove by a technician for what the microwave itself is worth... What is mess... So for now I am stuck with a broken microwave and I do not have an exhaust fan either! and the whole thing has escalated to the salesman I bought it from. See if he can pull some strings...
Original message:
I am attempting to get my microwave that is under warranty, repaired. I have been unsuccessful to set up an appointment for the repair since April 16, 2024.
I chatted on the phone and got a case number but they needed a recording of the problem noise and the invoice for the microwave. I sent it via phone, and as nothing happened for 2 days, I chatted online to find out re. repair. Got another case number and sent the invoice and the recording again. Was promised to have a repair service arranged. Nothing happened for 4 days. I chatted online again, had to submit the recording and the invoice again. This time an agent promised to look into things personally. 8 days later (today) I called Samsung and was again asked to send over the invoice. Now I am to wait another 3 days within which a service technician is to call me to arrange for the repair.... I am losing hope. One microwave and I have spent so much time trying to get it fixed. It is under the warranty. It feels like Samsung is trying to wait me out until I will lose patience or warranty expires, and I just buy a new microwave as I will be too worn down to attempt have this one repaired.

Do not buy any Samsung products as…

Do not buy any Samsung products as there warranty is just a gimmick absolute joke of a company and I will never ever touch there products again. Bought a Samsung washing machine from Argos 2 years ago which came with 5 year warranty and it has broken down 3 times in that time. When I rang Samsung they said warranty expired in 2 years so I called Argos and even they were in agreement with me that the washing machine came with 5 year warranty and am only 2 years into so I still have 3 years left. After I emailed them the receipt they started asking for a registration code that was sent to me when I registered it for warranty on there website. Unfortunately I had lost the registration code and they just turned round and said they can’t do anything about it then. Terrible customer service even though I’ve got the receipt they won’t repair my washing machine which is still under warranty but they refuse to do anything about cos I don’t have a stupid code. Now am left with a broken washing machine and £500 down the drain.

Bought Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 phone

Bought Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 phone, just 14 months ago. The warranty is 2 years, but the company say the knocks and scrapes on the phone invalidate the warranty. These are just the knocks and marks of continual use. The phone powers down when folded. They are quoting £700 for a fix something that is a known issue.
I will never buy another Samsung product if I can possibly avoid it.

Faulty TV Samsung false claim.is damaged

TV within warranty suddenly developed vertical and horizontal black lines. Similar to another review on here. It then deteriorated into periods of no picture but with the welcome notes sounding on a loop along with the scree sort of lighting up and with a pale spot in one cirner. They asked for a video then said it had been damaged. There is no danage. It hasn't been moved or knocked since it was put in place.

Currently going back and forth.

Samsung has the worst warranty replacement policy EVER!

This just feels like a scam now. Samsung sent me to UbreakIFix their authorized dealer to repair or replace my phone. However they only approve the replacement if needed. I still have to send the phone in and be without a phone in the meantime!? It's a ZFold 5 $1800 and they expect me to send it in and wait 1-2 weeks to see what can be done if anything. They don't supply a loaner phone, they told me to go to Verizon for one. How am I suppose to work on a loaner? After ALL the troubleshooting, and trips to Verizon and Samsung (5 total) I don't have time to backup & transfer two more times. HELL NO. As much as I love their phones, and I was going to buy a new laptop from them, I can't purchase from them again in good conscious. Sadly I will have to switch back to Apple products. Verizon was out of my model. Luckily they are expediting the issue for me. Everyone who buys their phones should be made aware of this ridiculous archaic system

Samsung poor customer service purchase a Samsung TV 32 ch in…

I purchase a Samsung TV 32 Inch in December. At the end of March the set suddenly developed lines both vertically and horizontal. I called customer service and after a short diagnostic they asked me to take pictures of the screen and based on that they said it was damaged. I shipped the TV in an original box and a few days later they called to say based on the pictures it was damaged and it would cost 219.96 to repair. I asked to speak to a supervisor and waited. I received another call asking to pay the bill and again asked to speak to a supervisor who was brusque and repeated that the pictures Indicated External damage that was not covered by warranty. I indicated that I was less than satisfied and asked what the physical exam of the product showed and did not get an answer. I have owned and still have 4 flat screens and two tablets and have been pleased with them. As pleased asI am with the products I find the warranty service to be totally unresponsive. I B we believe the response I received was predetermined. The experience was like a shuck and give street experience. The sense I had of Samsung as a credible business is destroyed. It is sad to think that there was no real conversation or compromise but just a denial and a fee for repairs that was more than I originally paid for the TV. My wife and I are in out 70's and have no children or pets so I see no way the claimed damaged was caused. Sad that I leave with the sense of being taken advantage of to save a few dollars. A very sad business policy.

refrigerator still in warranty 6…

refrigerator still in warranty 6 months old ( 3 door dual ice maker) leaking from the unit at the upper water entry panel. Had apparently been leaking for quite a while before we noticed water on the floor in front of the unit. we reported this January/24. @4 weeks later, a "qualified" tech from ACS pro tech came to make the repair. While there, the unit was leaking. The tech saw the unit was leaking and added samsung support on so they could view remotely. Technician removed the hose entry panel screw and tried to pry it of with a phillips screw driver but was unable to remove it. He yanked the hoses out of the entry port and examined them damage and found none. He then re-inserted the hoses and moved to the front of the unit. He removed the ice maker tray and some of the covers inside the ice maker. He pressed the rest button, disconnected some connections and put it "partially" back together. He left in a hurry stating samsung would be in contact with me. he left I went to check the fridge, the screw was left out of the hose entry cover, the ice tray was left on the kitchen table. When I opened the refrigerator and was going to re-install the ice tray, I found a broken part laying in the compartment. I called Samsung and ACS requesting that they repair the broken part and replace the screws ( I was not about to do any work on the unit so that warranty cover was not an issue. They told me no unless I agreed to a 250.00 charge for them to come put it back together and that did not include addressing the broken part. Samsung closed the ticket as ( no trouble found). I have had to keep opening tickets and samsung keeps bouncing me around. I have sent picture of the damage, the missing screw and videos of the active leak. The floor under the fridge is ruined and I now have a choice to buy bagged ice or create a waterfall into a bucket (which I did). I have sent then picture after picture, video after video. Now the icemaker makes a grind noise ( loud and abnormal) from time to time when trying to get ice, as well when selecting between crushed or cubed, the light changes but cube or crushed does not change. Still trying to work with samsung and getting nowhere. Im seeing what everybody else is saying warranty support seems to be a scam to keep you in an ongoing loop.

Bought the complete samsung bespoke lineup in april 23 waited for them to be built to order, installed appliances in aug 23
It is now march and the new dishwasher already quit working, samsung warranty is supposed to get a repair technician to look at it.
It has been over a week without dishwasher with 2 boys under 2
No communication from samsung no repair tech has called yet.
I would recommend people buy the cheapest appliances on market that when when they die you can go grab another one and still spend less money prob get better customer service aswell.
Samsung sucks.
I will never buy another samsung product
24,000$ cad kick in the jewls thanks samsung for your low quality over priced garbage.

I bought a Samsung fridge from Lowes…

I bought a Samsung fridge from Lowes less than 3 months ago. Its was very pricey. I called Lowes and they stated I had to call Samsung. I called Samsung requesting a new fridge due to the cooling system going out and the refrigerator being so new. They stated I had to wait until they sent a service repair person. The closest one to my location is 5 hours away. I asked for an return number so that I could just return it at Lowes and get a new one. Mind you we are at 3 days without a fridge and its the weekend. My food has completely spoiled. It would make more common sense to issue me a refund so that I could return this unusable fridge. Now I have to wait who knows how long for a service repair man. They stated that even with an exchange it could take up to 3 weeks. Im not sure why we purchase warranty when you get the run around. After speaking to several representatives and 2 managers I was told the same thing, we have to go by policy. Meanwhile I stuck without a working refrigerator, spoiled food and not being able have food in my fridge for my son unless I go purchase another fridge. I will never buy Samsung appliances again and don’t recommend for these reasons. Save your money.

Buyer beware. Samsung does not honor warranty.

I have a Samsung robot vacuum that needs a new object recognition sensor. It is only 14 months old. This was their top-of-the-line robot vacuum when I purchased it and it was expensive! The owner's manual for this model clearly states that the model I purchased comes with an additional two-year extended warranty. Samsung will not honor the extended warranty. Their excuses are ridiculous. Customer service first told me that my warranty is another another person's name. They also claimed that my name wasn't registered as the owner for the vacuum with that serial number. Then they claimed that the warranty was not included when I purchased the unit. Another excuse I was given is that the extended warranty was never registered. I bought the vacuum on Samsung.com, so how could this be? I never received any instructions from Samsung about "registering" this additional warranty. Also when I registered my product on the Samsung website it clearly stated I had a three-year warranty. Now I have a vacuum that won't run and Samsung that won't repair it under warranty.
I definitely won't have the vacuum fixed at my expense. It's like throwing good money after bad.
We have several Samsung appliances. Washer/dryer, TV, and phones. (The dryer has needed several repairs). I will never buy Samsung again. When it's time to replace the other Samsung products we have or to upgrade our phones you can be sure we will be looking at anything BUT Samsung! I am spreading the word to everyone so that people can be warned of what will happen if they ever need repair.

TV Warranty Repair

Bought a 43' TV , 10 months in the on/off switch failed. Booked a repair online, two working days ahead so all seemed good. However then realised no confirmation received by Samsung repairer. Got to the day - nothing. Then the pain started. Rang Samsung support - bounced to the repairer in a queue who told me job was booked as a paying repair even though Samsung had our 5 year warranty registration. Said thye'd sent me an email - never arrived. Told to contact Samsung. Rang them and got their offshore support team. Could not tell what the lady was saying most of the call, she was trying to follow a process which involved me proving the TV was under warranty even though Samsung had emailed the warranty details!! 45 mins later she basically gave up with me I think and lied by telling me an engineer would make contact. Obviously that never happened. Ended up with me contacting the CEO to get this resolved which it has been over 3 weeks after being logged. Samsung have made some changes to their website and now you cannot even get passed the 'product' page to the 'troubleshoot' page, let alone book a repair. This ought to have been a very straightforward warranty repair but the Samsung customer service was a horrible experience. I'm keeping everything crossed nothing more happens in the remaining 4 years of warranty, but hopefully that is enough time for Samsung to get their house in order.

Microwave I purchased lasted less than…

Microwave I purchased lasted less than 3 months. Call samsung warranty, they went thru 3 different repair places, 6 repair dates, three of which took off work,. The repair places kept canceling the appointments. Two Samsung employess actually said I was lying and I canceled the appointments. I have all the emails and texts to prove otherwise. Two of the reps, of the 8 I have spoken, said they would replace the Microwave. The others have told me no and they will not honor the employees statements. Worst experience of my life. Hours and hours on the phone. They can't find anyone to repair it and won't replace it. Very expensive Microwave for 3 months. Don't purchase a Samsung product, their warranty is garbage and most of their reps are rude.

Bought a Samsung eco-bubble washing machine and tried to register the 5 year warranty, What a farce, the website kept taking me round in circles however after about 2 hours it gave me the opportunity of entering the serial number, the next page asks you to register again then tries to sell you another machine exactly the same.
I don’t know to this day whether the registration is complete, maybe they will email me, what was wrong with the old postcard registration, it took about 2 minutes to fill in and a confirmation would be received soon afterwards.
