Trying to stop the warranty deliberately

Just a development on the washing machine repair. Finally the engineer called in and said the previous engineer is new and its just a balance issue. So my wife asked him to load the machine and try and he says yes it is faulty and I need to change the parts. After fixing the machine he left and I called samsung today as they asked me to call them after the machine was fixed, guess what they said they found a 50 p coin and as a good will gesture they have done a one time repair and now the machine has no warranty. Believe me, if a 50 p coin is in the drum which has tiny holes, just common sense it cannot pass through and destroy the drums bearing, if it goes down the drain that can't ruin the drums bearing, any excuse to get it off their shoulder as they know the machine is faulty.
Beware people next time search the engineers lol, they might stick an old coin and blame you for the damage and they are not even ashamed of pulling these stunts as they think we all are clueless. If zero stars were offered, I am sure they would get all zeros.

Samsung warranty scam

SAMSUNG Fridge Freezer
Model : RB36R8839SR
Samsung believe that their fridge freezers (mine is only 3 years old, that I paid over £1000 and came with a 5 year manufacturer warranty), can’t possibly have a manufacturing fault if not found in the first 3 months.
They have disregarded their own engineers recommendation (employed by them) and just said if not found in the first 3 months, if cannot possibly be true!
Not even worth 1 star.
They instruct their engineers to disregard their expertise and if they don’t, they overrule them.

Samsung warranty is absolutely scam

Samsung warranty is absolutely scam. 1400 phone got cancelled its warranty because cling film was removed from screen. Yes I took it off as it peeled off itself almost half screen gathered dust and was struggling to respond to touch. There was nothing on it saying "do not remove" etc. Oh sure, somewhere in brochure probably been mentioned in between the lines, but honestly, how many ppl reading that nonsense about choking hazard if you swallow phone..
Samsung absolutely disgusting and honestly as much I I used to love it- even more I hate it now. No more Samsung products in my house. Those that still there will be replaced with anything but not Samsung once their time comes.
And asking to cover 600 warranty repair for a phone that is like 400-500 on the market is absolutely disgusting

They’re ok putting out damaged product and selling you a replacement part

My elderly mother purchased new Samsung appliances, to the tune of nearly $5K. The fridge came out of the box with two big gouges on one of the handles. She contacted Samsung to be told to contact the store to have the fridge replaced. A- she only wanted/needed the HANDLE replaced. B- her old fridge was already gone. C- she lives an Hour+ away from the closest Lowe’s or her kids. D- she didn’t need the entire fridge replaced E- we already knew the store didn’t have any more in stock.
We contacted the store and the gentleman was puzzled- “we don’t have handles on hand. Are you wanting to replace the whole fridge?” Fast forward. I just spent nearly 2 hours of my life to be told that appearance doesn’t matter and it was “just a scratch”. If they can’t replace a HANDLE that came damaged, I have serious doubts about them fixing anything else. And yes, you guessed it, they were happy to sell me a replacement! We are preparing to purchase our own new kitchen appliances, as well as washer/drier. Samsung just went from the top of our list to about the bottom…

Shocking Samsung build quality and service

We bought a Samsung washing machine 7 months ago. The machine started leaking badly and we approached Samsung to honor their warranty. It took 3 weeks for a technician to come out. He saw the plastic inner drum had broken, a clear manufacturing fault, and ordered a new drum. It will only be replaced in 4 weeks. We are without a machine for two months with no apologies or attempt by Samsung to resolve this or speed up the process despite this being indisputably a manufacturing fault. I have never, for any product, received as bad service or warranty claim, and the manufacturing quality is abysmal..

Bought Samsung washing machine just…

Bought Samsung washing machine just over a year ago. Error code came up and paused the wash, tried to start wash but kept stopping. Contacted customer services could not understand a word of what the person was saying and had to go through a ridiculous amount of questions and was then told if there was nothing wrong with the washing machine when engineer came I would have to pay. Was told that engineer would contact me for an appointment, received two further phone calls from Samsung asking me to go through different procedures before sending an engineer, gave up and will start to look for another washing machine, warranty is worthless.

DONT BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS

Model number WW10T554DAW/s1
Machine is just over 2 yrs old & out of warranty & main bearing has started to show signs of wear by excessive noise when in use, All this from a machine that gets used x2 a week just me & my wife!
SAMSUNG offers a 20% off voucher to purchase a replacement machine or call out an engineer @£144 plus if it’s the bearing you can add over £350 plus additional parts for the repair.
This machine washes beautifully but after 2yrs use it has become uneconomical to get repaired such a shame when all of the machines other smart features have been trouble free.

warranty is a scam!!!

My washing machine - warranty is a scam- be aware! I call warranty customer service explaining that my washing machine stopping washing circle and it’s not showing error, example I run washing circle 2:30h and its stops 1:29 than I need to press start and nits stops couple of times and I need to press start, sometimes I am so fed up that I just chose rinse and spin - which working fine.
Customer service ask me to run empty circle rinse and spin even I was telling them that is working, after that they ask me to run 15 min wash even I was telling them is working after that they ask me to run empty program of my choice I pick up random one and empty load and - surprise its stops 2 times ! customer services is telling me in them end its looks like it’s working. Of course, it’s working - not important that I need to be next to washing machine if I want to have it done the washing!!! - warranty is a scam!!!
Up to know I was happy customer of Samsung - now I really DESAPOITED!

What an absolute scam EE and Samsung

What an absolute scam. £1000 phone flip 5 bought in September. Screen is flickering intermittently and has developed a permanent green line across the screen fold. Contacted Samsung who confirmed it has a 2 year warranty. Booked in for a repair at Ee Nottingham. Loan phone guaranteed due to partner having had major live saving surgery on 12th December and need to be contactable with them and the hospital.
Spoke to EE agent on day of appointment in the morning and advised it will cost me £400 if screen needs to be replaced. Explained its under warranty and confirmed loan phone, even spoke to a manager to confirm this. On way to shop that afternoon get a text cancelling the appointment. I was only 5 mins away so called in. They looked at the phone and apparently under the magnifying glass there is a tiny mark on one side of the screen rim at the top of the phone so warranty is void. Total b@lls EE and Samsung know about the fault and are commiting fraud to prevent them from fixing it.

Do not buy Samsung Washing Machines, parts falling out of machine not covered by warranty.

DONT BUY A SAMSUNG MACHINE - FAULTS NOT HONOURED. I THOUGHT BY PAYING FOR A "HIGH QUALITY" MACHINE, FROM A WELL KNOWN COMPANY, THERE WOULD BE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I was wrong.

A part fell out of the washing machine - Samsung says it's not covered by the warranty and that I have to pay for the repair myself:
- I brought the new washing machine directly from Samsung 13 months ago.
- Opening the door at the end of a cycle, the washing machine door seal retaining clamp (metal ring) fell out. - The technical department tells me that this was probably because some of my clothing caught the wire during the cycle (wire is underneath the rubber seal).
As the machine is so new, I expected this to be fixed by Samsung, at no cost to me. But was informed by Abdul at the UK office that this isn't covered by the warranty. Even if this happened the first day I got the machine, it would not be covered - the warranty is a scam.
It took me 2 days to speak to someone, now it's going to take 3 days speak to someone else to confirm an appointment, and I don't know how long I will have to wait until a repair person will be able to come or how much this is going to cost me. Don't give Samsung your money.

Samsung stink

Samsung stink, swollen battery on my tablet, but they want £157 to replace it, they chat associates don't actually understand or read English properly and when you say something they don't like, all of a sudden it goes quiet or they have connection issues.

Samsung were offering an extended 5 yr warranty....(Plastered all over their website)....

Though I was being sensible by buying direct from Samsung.com but it appears impossible to get the Extended Guarantee as I purchased the product direct from them....

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT:

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT:

absolutely shocking service! Bought a 75inch telly last year, it’s only 1 year and 3 months old £3k) when it decided not to work anymore.
We have a 5 year warranty with Samsung so I was told, but it’s been 6 weeks trying to get my tv repaired which went for repair came back then done the same thing as before.
for its age it’s totally not acceptable, so I have asked for a replacement as I now don’t have a tv for Christmas when I have kids and Guest coming, but they do not care. In fact it sounds like they laugh at you on the phone.
The After care service is very very very poor.
I would never buy a Samsung product again. And I’m gutted that I bought this in the first place. Spoke to an Eli who said she would replace it but the spoke to another mark and Jessica who basically was laughing at me. asked them to listen to the call but they wouldn’t, the service is disgusting and if this is how they treat customers, surprise they are still in business.

Samsung 65” TV…

I own a 65” Samsung TV which I procured the extended warranty. The television went black. I called for the warranty which they in turn gave me over to another business for repair. That company (USSI Global) never even came to the house to even look at the TV. I took a picture of the TV, sent it to them, then they without even coming to my house said the panel went out which they were going to have to elevate this back to Samsung for a decision for them to repair, replace, or refund which would take up to 10 business days. Here I am without a TV, holidays are here, family coming into town, No help from Samsung. No decision as of yet. I called again which the customer service representative elevated my case to management for a decision which will take another 2 business days. Buying the extended warranty is a joke, waste of money, waste of time, and this has left me never wanting to buy another Samsung product ever again! My advice is to not buy the warranty or a Samsung product!

Samsung are totally useless

Samsung are totally useless. My washing machine door bangs because the latch does not hold the door into the frame properly and now a drum paddle has broken off. It's impossible to claim any repair under warrantee and contacting Samsung is near impossible , from their 24.7 chat line which just says unavailable at present to when you are promised a ring back it never happens.Do not buy samsung

Bought SAMSUNG Series 5 SpaceMax…

Bought SAMSUNG Series 5 SpaceMax WW11BGA046AE/EU 11 kg 1400 seven months ago. Have complained as the cotton cycle only takes 117 minutes for a 11kg load should take at least 3 hours but gave up on trying to get any sense out of the them, and now 7 months later the metal ring that hold the rubber on the door just snapped and after complaining again they said it’s not covered on the warrant. I will never buy anything from Samsung again
