Samsung fails
In May 2022 after experiencing a problem with my washing machine which i thought was under samsung warranty, i contacted thier customer services, only to be told there was not the extentended waranty on it, so as that did not apply, so i quoted the consumer goods act 2015. in all i have contacted samsungs customer services four times, run the same checks on the washing machine in all wasting well over six hours on the phone, each with a promise to be called back, which never happened and me having to call them again only to quote to them consumer rights, only then after quoting this all of a sudden a miraculas curteousy appointment was offered, and even then I had to provide the receipt for the washing machine, from one of samsungs to other departments, something they could have done in house without me having to spend hours again on the phone to find the right department to get my electronic receipt as the payment shown on my statement to samsungs online shop was no good, talk about hurdles, and what an inferior after care and sales.
I have found Samsung and it uk leader deplorable.
I bought a graphite grey 10kg washing machine with a hefty price tag of £1049.00, and as such thought it would be built to an exceptional standard and built to last and fit for purpose, the customer service and higher ups are awful. under the consumer act it states that if it could not repaired at the time it should be replaced like for like, but well over a month of various repairs, and still unable to repair the washing machine, and written off by samsungs electronics engineers, i was offered a machine incomparable to what i had bought and failed after only three years, leaving me without a washing machine and washing by hand, ruining my also samsung dryer, not getting much sense from the overseas diverted customer services, I contacted head of uk samsung and requested a different washing machine, the one offered was quite a few hundred pounds cheaper than what was paid originally and from what I could see an earlier make do, as samsung had dragged thier feet, i asked for a tumble dryer as well, compensation for the time bieng without a washing a replacement washing machine and seperate tumble dryer both of the series nine and in the colour graphite/grey/black/silver or what ever the series 9 is in grey.
As a disabled customer, I am disgusted that a global concern could sleep at night after the failings to me as a customer, trying to fob me off with a courteous appointment as warranty, only given after stating my rights as a consumer.
What could samsung do to set things right, send me without anymore delays the series nine washing machine QuickDrive WW90T986DSX/S1with addwash, this is still cheaper than what was paid and the latest series nine tumble dryer to accompany in grey/graphite/silver or whatever you call them without any more delay.

Samsung washing machines are awful do…
Samsung washing machines are awful do not buy.... the consistently squeak and shake. Its impossible to keep them level as the way the feet are designed I hate samsung washing machines
Absolutely awful to deal with door seal…
Absolutely awful to deal with door seal not covered on warranty will never buy Samsung again they are expensive & don't do a full warranty disgusted with the outcome
Absolute waste of time contacting the…
Absolute waste of time contacting the customer service team regarding any issues to do with any device. Visit from engineer involved him putting the washing machine on a cycle spin, complaining about Samsung digital products despite this being advertised as the best available at the time of purchase, informing me there was 3 minutes left until the end of his shift and reporting it as a installation issue despite not checking behind the machine and no evidence of this. Customer service team waste your time with diagnostic phone calls and give mixed messages. Blame is passed from team to team with no solution. Now informed that the only solution they can provide is sending out another engineer at an additional cost of course
The tech company from hell.
this was single highhandedly the worst tech experience of my life, i bought a Samsung fold3 5g 8 months ago before i suddenly started having a myriad of issues with the phone, first the internet stopped working, then the center fold screen stopped working, the camera stopped working and through all of that i kept using it just using the front screen as i could still text from it but finally that screen stopped responding to touch and at this point i sent it to Samsung thinking it was still in my 2 year warranty period and it was clearly a hardware issue causing this as i had not gotten the phone wet or damaged it in any way and was kept in a case with the factory fitted screen protectors since i received it. I then got a text saying my warranty was void due to me "puncturing the screen" even though the factory fitted screen protector was in tact (certainly no puncture wounds in it), the only image they had of the damage was a blurry photo of a small white dot on the screen, there was no way it was a "puncture" in the screen, it looked more like a dead pixel. finally i accepted my fate and decided to pay for the repair, and they quoted me £490 to fix my phone, they had not even opened up the phone to check the hardware - all they had done is found a dead pixel and decided they would not pay for it regardless of the fact so many things had gone wrong with the phone, not just the broken center screen. When i asked the repair person my many queries into why this was happening and whether i would be hit with another bill when they eventually realize that the center screen is not the only issue the response i got was "not to be a D***head but i was meant to leave 10 minutes ago, are you going to pay for the repairs or not". My honest advice would be to not use Samsung, a company with an already bad reputation just because the device you're buying has a center screen.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever! My washing machine door seal leaked after a month which they repaired. It continued to leak and they are telling me the second repair dies not come under warranty as it’s not a manufacturing defect! It clearly is as I have come on here and seen many similar complaints! Their behaviour is criminal and I can’t believe they get away with it in this day and age. I will be contacting trading standards as I don’t think they should get away with it! The customer service is awful too. It’s a shame as I’ve always liked Samsung products but I won’t be buying from them again. Awful just awful!
Just terrible warranty customer…
Just terrible warranty customer service. My Z fold3 which I loved had some screen issues, showing cracks at fold and screen going black randomly. I took it to their repair dealer and they said they could not fix it told me I'd get a new one if they could not fix it so file a claim with samsung. I did.... It is under warranty they wanted it mailed to have it for up to 10 or more days for a technician to determine if it could be fixed. I can not do without a phone for that long. They said they'd make me a deal on the newest galaxy. They wanted me to pay $800 for it or pay it out offering several options. It appears their warrany is a sham and works in a way to inconvience you in an intolerable way and just a trick to make you pay more if their devices fail. No more samsung phones for me! Sadly I found it all unacceptable. All this took a total of 4 hours on the phone, mostly on hold. Customer service was deaf to my needs to attend a meeting etc. I notice the reviews in general are really bad. So disappointing to be treated so badly as a loyal customer for over 10 years.
Samsung Warranty does not cover faulty…
Samsung Warranty does not cover faulty door seals.
This seems to be a common problem with Samsung Washing Machines. As with many other customers my washing machine is less than 6 months old and has developed a leak, which looks like it is down to a small piece of rubber missing on the outer door seal. I've had washing machines for 15 years and never had this issue. Seems to be a common fault so Samsung have removed the door seal from the warranty. I'm all for fair wear and tear, but less than 6 months is unacceptable!
Don't buy Samsung fridge freezers!
Don't buy Samsung fridge freezers!
Samsung told me to turn the freezer off until the repair man arrival in 5 days & I would be able to claim for perished food.
Repair completed perfectly. However, now Samsung are only offering £50 (amount not mentioned previously), so I am now out of pocket to the tune of £400+
washing m/c warranty total rubbish
It seems this department can't improve. I've been trying to sort a problem with m/c since 09/11/2022. still ongoing. M/c cost £849 top of the range. Samsung just don't want to know.
Bizarre customer service, but the washer dryer still isn't working
Phoned yesterday as my daughter's three month old Samsung washer dryer stopped drying - she was working so I called but it took ages, with all the information they wanted, and then walking through all the diagnostic steps. It's very long-winded, but he was polite and patient. However, the machine still failed to work.
Unfortunately today's call was very different - the new person had no idea, wanting to redo all the diagnostic steps, seemingly unaware of the earlier call and associated information and even going round in circles for about 30 minutes just trying to understand my daughter's address. It's easy - it's on her warranty information sent from Samsung, but she simply couldn't understand. And the machine is still not working.
The most annoying part was that I stayed on the line to complete the customer survey at the end and she kept coming back, telling me to end the call, that she had all the information etc. and then she transferred me so that I couldn't access the survey. Hence this Trustpilot review. We have lots of Samsung products, but this experience is really making me reconsider what we buy next.
Update - two calls later (both withholding the survey at the end!) and now the machine cannot be repaired - the guy tried to fob me off, suggesting I contact my supplying dealer for an exchange as it would be quicker than Samsung UK. However, sticking with Samsung UK as it's their fault, no-one else's, but could be 12 working days, so nearly a month without a working washing machine - I think this is very poor service.
Bought a washing machine top end
Bought a washing machine top end, developed a fault got passed onto north west appliances to resolve, after 4 weeks of waiting 3 attempts to fix. Samsung are still no replacing and still want to try fixing. What a joke of a company the warranty does not mean anything but just a load of grief and headache
Extended warranty is a lie
I brought a washer back in 2018. My washer as now having problems, so I've rang samsung warranty there saying its not covered but I definitely registered for the 5 years warranty. Saying unless I have prove which is appently a email I should have received which I did not. It was on my list of products and now all of a sudden not there. I've asked for date I registered my product with my portal and there refusing to give me the date because they know it was in the 90 days limit. They have fully refused to fix the washer and offered me a poxy 25% of a new one. Which I certainly won't be having another samsung. I've done research which actually says samsung extended warranty page was not working back in 2018 when people was registering there products so I'm not the only 1 this is happening too.
I'm getting no where at all and won't even let me make a complaint
I bought top of the line washing…
I bought top of the line washing machine and dryer. After about a year of use, my dryer started to turn itself on and off continuously and never finished the dry cycle for more than 15 minutes. On/off jingles will go on and off all night long. I had (so far) three engineers visits within last 2-1/2 months, and they replace the motherboard, front panel system control and electrical outlet cable. And the problem still continues. Last engineer (not able to find the cause of the problem) wanted to reorder the motherboard and the front panel again to replace the one that he just replaced last month, because he didn’t know what else to do. (They are not allowed to report the machines “not fixable” as a third party technician company hired by Samsung. (And of course, Samsung can use not having their “not fixable” notice as an excuse for not replacing or finding a solution to providing a working machine.
In the mean time, my family have been living without a dryer to dry the cleaned clothing. (My flat does not allowed to washings to be hung outside—one of the reason why I purchased a large top of the line dryer for the flat). Customer service people keep turfing my calls to people in Philippine who tells me there’s nothing they can do other than “report” my issues as urgent matter. They promise to return calls, but they don’t. When my complaints get too long they put on an false pretence (I have on a recording) that they can’t hear me well and puts me on mute. They tell you what you want to hear initially and tell you that they will return your call with resolutions. In the mean time, they ask you to respond to a quality survey. And then, after the survey, they either never respond to your call or turf out your call to a third party who will just keep you on the line to tell you that you are basically “Fxxxed”. Don’t buy Samsung if you want a machine you want to enjoy for long time. If you really want Samsung, purchase separate warranty for each item.
My phone broke for the third time in 9…
My phone broke for the third time in 9 months, called customer service and they have no solution and want me to send in the device for at least 2 weeks without a replacement. When asked for a loaner phone they said they had no access to phones even though they are the manufacturer. The support team was condescending and rude with no actual service provided. The phone is insured, under warranty and their latest model but I will never buy any Samsung product again.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service, I bought a £1500 fridge and definitely registered my extended warranty. They’re saying I should have received a code which I’m certain I did not. They started off saying my model isn’t part of the warranty, until I proved them wrong. Then they moved on to say I need to prove it was registered. It was an online form how else am I supposed to prove that?! To help my situation they offered me a 25% discount on my next Samsung purchase! They must be having a laugh! I’m so disappointed and definitely will not be buying any of their appliances in the future.
Worst customer service EVER
Worst customer service EVER! 6 month old diswasher - needs repair for not draining. 3 calls, 45 minutes each time and no service centers in my area. They have offered no solution other than asking me for another 3-5 minutes on hold to research.
Pathetic company with no value!!!!!!
Awful experience. Untrustworthy!
I sent my Zflip 3 to Samsung under warranty because the screen is flickering green and the screen saver has lifted.
They use a company called MTR for repairs who sent me a tracking update asking me for £309 for repair. The reason stated "damaged" ?. My phone was in perfect condition visually when I sent it to Samsung and I contacted asked what the 'damage' was? They emailed MTR asking for photograpgic proof of the phone when they received it, I also did the same. After no response I called again and voicemails and calls were made on my behalf but no one answered the phone or replied.
Eventually after weeks I was told I would be assigned a case handler who would chase MTR for information as to why they want £309 from me. A Samsung case handler never got in contact.
On the 6th of December I received my phone back with scratches all over the screen. This damage has been done whilst Samsung have been responsible for it and it's very obvious they are intentional! It looks like the sceen has been scraped with something sharp. Which wouldn't even be possible to have occurred by accident because it something had been between the screen whilst it was folded it would have damaged the top and bottom of the screen m, NOT have deep scratch lines in the bottom screen.
This damage was done intentionally by MTR so they could scam me out of £309!!!
I called Samsung immediately and was finally put through to a case handler who made contact with MTR and actually received a response for the1st time in weeks of attempted contact.
She asked for proof of my phone when they received it but yet again there is NO RESPONSE from Samsung or MTR.
I've been awaiting a reply from my case handler for 4 days now.
The service fron Samsung is diabolical!
I wouldn't wish this on anyone. The company they use for repairs are complete cowboys.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
This is my second review of this HORRIBLE company. After spending three days and over six hours on the phone with non-English speaking customer service, they sent the wrong part. I told them so many times which was the correct part. Now another few hours with a person who barely speaks English not getting anything done. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
