I made full payment to SAT Japan in October 2024 with an expectation of delivery within 4–8 weeks. However, the vehicle did not arrive until April 2025 — a 6-month delay.

SAT Japan was responsive and helpful prior to payment, but communication deteriorated significantly after funds were transferred. The process was marked by repeated delays, contradictory updates, and a lack of transparency, which made the experience frustrating and exhausting.

While the vehicle delivered was different from what I originally ordered, I was ultimately satisfied with the car that was shipped.

🔧 Important Tip for European Buyers:
Be aware that Japanese tires are not certified for use in Europe, so you’ll likely need to replace them upon arrival.

⚠️ Potential Buyers – Be Advised:
SAT Japan may offer attractive prices, but you should be prepared for:

-Extended delivery timelines
-Limited or unclear post-payment communication
-A vehicle that may differ slightly from what was initially ordered

Shipping schedules, vessel space, port congestion, inspection processes, and import requirements can sometimes cause delays beyond the estimated 4 to 8 week window. However, we understand how frustrating this was and we accept that the communication during the waiting period should have been more consistent and clearer.

Regarding your statement that “the vehicle delivered was different from what I originally ordered,” we would like to clarify that this is not accurate. The vehicle shipped was the same unit confirmed on your invoice and final documentation, including the chassis number. At no stage was a different vehicle substituted. If there is any confusion, we are happy to re share the invoice, export certificate, and shipping documents to confirm the exact vehicle details.

On the point about tires for Europe, thank you for mentioning this. Tire requirements and compliance depend on the destination country’s regulations and the tire specifications. We always recommend buyers check local compliance rules before registration, and we can support with tire details if needed.

Please don’t trust the scam company. The do special offer to attract customers, in actual, these offers are fake. Those cars on offer are not exist in actual.

We reserve a car and make a full payment, but one week later , they told us the car is sold to someone. What a nightmare to me. After payment, it is hard to contact them. Even we send them many messages, but nobody reply to us.

After another few days later, they ask us to change another car, but we finally don’t want to trust them any more. This is the worst experience we had in our life.
So please think twice when you make payment, because if you cancel, you will be charged 10%. It does not matter about what kind of reason.

Please don’t trust this scam Company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced and understand how upsetting this experience must have been.

For clarity, after receiving your order we performed a full inspection and informed you about the issues in the vehicle. You then selected and confirmed a replacement car, requested an invoice, and made payment for it. Unfortunately, the second transfer was processed incorrectly with your own name listed as the beneficiary, and because of this mistake the bank reversed the payment after 14 days.

Even with this setback, we did not ask you to pay the outstanding balance and instead offered to ship the car first, allowing you to settle the payment only once it arrived at the port. Despite our efforts, this option was not accepted. Later, you requested to cancel the order. As per the signed purchase agreement, the cancellation fee is normally 20%, but we reduced this to 10% as a goodwill gesture to close the matter fairly.

We regret that the situation caused you stress, but we hope this explanation helps clarify what happened. We remain committed to transparent service and customer satisfaction.

100% recommend they are very helpful

100% recommend they are very helpful. I received my vehicle today at my address. The car was delivered by a driver, although I thought it would arrive on a trailer. Still, I am satisfied with the condition of the car, and the dealer promised delivery in 7 weeks but completed it in 5 and a half weeks.

Avoid this company

Bought a car from SAT and arrived 2 weeks ago and what a nightmare, broken under tray / broken inner wheel arch , transmission leak , head light ballast broken , fadded paintwork and 4 tyres all cracked. Contacted them and they literally ignored my emails and messages. Please avoid at all costs

In this case, marine insurance was not included with the order, which means damages that may have occurred during international transport such as the undertray, inner wheel arch, transmission leak, or headlight ballast could not be covered. These types of issues sometimes happen during handling in transit, and we regret any inconvenience caused.

Regarding the tyres, the condition was visible in the original photos provided before the purchase. We understand this may still be disappointing, and we truly regret that the experience did not meet your expectations.

As a gesture of goodwill, a compensation of 200 USD was issued via PayPal to offer some support.

I would love if Mr Malik Saleem crossed…

I would love if Mr Malik Saleem crossed my path some day so that I could discuss with him about how taking people's hard earned money from them, and lying is morally incorrect. I have had the experience of being ripped off by this company. I wish there was a proper way to expose them on a large scale. Fake good reviews should be removed by trustpilot. This company a complete fraud. Please read the 1 star reviews people. In this case I can assure you they are real....IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY Thank you for the reply. Yes you compensated me just under 1000 euro. And put 1000 credits on my account, as If I would use them to buy another car from your company. I have a car in my drive that I never ordered. I have spent 1000 euro on replacing the wheels, 700 on adding a stereo that was removed before you sent it. Or should I say was in the car you advertised and not the one I received. 1500 on repairing body work. And I am not finished. To add to this all of the features that were on the car I purchased are not on the one I received. And also I paid you over 3 thousand euros more for the car you advertised. You bought this car at an auction for a lot less (I have a copy of the purchase details for the car you sent) and shipped it to me. Oh I forgot the car I purchased was sent to Tanzania by mistake... That's is what they told me. I wonder how many others have heard this. Please stop pretending you are not intending to rip people off. I have found many cases. UPDATE (29th September 2025) anyone reading this I see you have placed another 1 star review from someone called Brian claiming it's me by replying to Eric as if I am creating more bad reviews under an alias. This is just to try discredit my actual review. Clever but stupid at the same time. I told satjapan that I would try to make sure that they stop ripping people off. So now and again I will check back here to see what they are doing.

Toyota Raize

SAT Japan has been great to work with. I recently purchased a Toyota Raize for import to Pakistan, and the entire process was smooth and straightforward. I have imported several cars from Japan before with mixed results, but in general, Japanese vehicles are in much better condition than what you typically find locally. I saved a good amount by handling the import myself and shipping directly.

SAT Japan arranged everything professionally. Once they received the car, they did a fresh inspection and sent updated photos to make sure everything matched what was promised.

These are used cars. Some people complain about hidden issues, but speaking as someone who has bought and sold dozens of cars over the years, that is always a risk no matter where you buy. Things can go wrong even with the cleanest cars.

I ordered one vehicle for my daughter

I ordered one vehicle for my daughter, and let me share my whole experience. The support and everything else was all organized, and as expected, the vehicle I received was also as advertised. but there were some issues, such as when I went to register the vehicle, I was told I needed a bill of sale notarized to register the vehicle. Which delayed my registration for one week. They did help me with it, but it should be sent already in my document package.

These guys help you a lot

These guys help you a lot. Just remember to ask for a bill of sale with the red moon stamp to be sent with the export certificate. My DMV was strict about it matching the original title. Great experience overall. They got me a wheel and tire set sold in Japan and even installed a roof rack before shipping. Service was solid, price was great. Small dent on the rear from the shipper, but that wasn’t SAT’s fault. Amazing vehicle, love the little turbo. Paperwork with customs isn’t too bad, but you better read a guide or you could mess yourself up. It’s only like four documents. DMV fees include state/local tax, so be ready for that.

I had to do a lot of research to…

I had to do a lot of research to finally place an order, and one of the reasons I was satisfied was their app. It is really helpful for tracking. After placing the order, the car was shipped after 2 weeks and delivered to me in 10 weeks in Newcastle. I am happy with the car and the service, but communication needs to be improved. Sometimes, it takes a day to get a response. I understand the time difference, but still, if things were communicated better, customers would be much more satisfied.

I just received car, and it was in amazing condition just like they had told me. I’m very happy about it. I would order a car from them again because I know they are a real reputable company.

Importing a Toyota 86 from SAT Japan…

Importing a Toyota 86 from SAT Japan was a new experience for me, and overall, it went smoothly. The website made it easy to browse cars, and they provided plenty of details, including photos and auction sheets, which helped me make a confident decision. The customer service team was responsive whenever I had questions, and they guided me through the process without making things complicated. It felt reassuring to have a team that actually answered inquiries quickly instead of leaving me in the dark.

When the Toyota 86 finally arrived, I was relieved to see that it matched the description perfectly. That said, there were a couple of small things I wish I had known in advance. The car only came with one key, and while it wasn’t advertised as having two, I just assumed it would. It wasn’t a big deal, but it would’ve been nice if that detail had been mentioned. It’s something I’ll definitely check for next time.

Another issue was the shipping time. SAT estimated that the car would arrive in five weeks, but it actually took six. I understand that delays happen with international shipping, and it wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but it would’ve been helpful to get more updates about it instead of just waiting and wondering when it would arrive.

The process of buying and shipping the vehicle went smoothly from start to finish. Everything was well organized, and I had no trouble with the paperwork or delivery. The car arrived within the expected timeframe, and the communication from the seller was clear and helpful throughout.

The only issue I faced was with the battery when the vehicle arrived. After contacting them, I found out that the battery problem was due to the car sitting on the ship for four weeks. Unfortunately, I had to replace it myself.

Other than that, everything was great. The vehicle was exactly as advertised, with no unexpected surprises.
