Since you order your kit it’s arrived too fast and then you dispatch it and have the results in 3/4 days after also you have the support for everything you need! They are really helpful and kind.

I think it's a great idea to offer service through dating apps and in places like pubs as it makes the service more accessible, especially in the context that most people live very busy lives. I would like to thank the young man who took my blood sample and navigated me through the process. He was very tactful and made me feel at ease while doing it.

Wanted to share my view that this service is exceptional. That you can test at home, receive results, and order at-home delivered treatment is a miracle and we should all be thankful. I’m glad they now press people to follow up with partners and seek to collect more data about partner numbers because without this we will not get on top of the ongoing outbreaks in the community. Bravo to the team for being so polite, non-judgmental, and expert.

Accessing the secure messaging platform is very difficult - the emails don’t take you directly to the messages on the website, and I gave up trying to find it as it wasted so much time.

Communication is often confusing. For example, about next steps with partners. Very often the messages assumed any partners would need treatment, which is only true if they also test positive.

Generally the message tone was ok, but can be at times unnecessarily invasive - beyond ensuring that any partners are informed, SHL are not entitled to information about who or how many people I have been in contact with. When I had clearly communicated that my partner(s) knew and were taking necessary action, there was no need for further enquiry. This kind of messaging is unhelpful on a situation that is still so deeply stigmatised.

Generally the tone of those I spoke too was non judgmental and helpful, and the service is extremely quick. I think it’s a good system, it’s amazing that it’s free to use, but the website and commutation could be improved, as those using the system are often in a vulnerable situation and these small issues can greatly increase anxiety.

Great postal service but testing took a long time to process on this occasion. Usually it is very fast.

Very simple and fast process for self-testing - the website's easy to use for an initial consultation, they send you the kit, the instructions are clear, you get your results a few days after sending it back, and it's free.

They follow up on any treatments you might need (they contacted me swiftly about some medication I needed to take, although it turned out to be a false positive in the end).

The website is very informative as well, it has lots of info on all different types of important sexual health topics, including how to access emergency contraception and emergency post-exposure prophylactics.
