I only used these as Barclays mortgages offer them as a free service. They are totally useless, don't answer most emails and if you want to speak with someone it's premium rate or nothing.
Haven't been so frustrated with a company in years.

Total Disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. Their customer service is appalling. Quick to take your money but not quick at doing anything else. QCAS have been dealing with my remortgage who are a division of Shulmans. I have emailed 3 times for an urgent call back from the office and this was 4 days ago. I have tried calling the office and sit on hold for 30 minutes at a time, what kind of company operates like this. I was supposed to complete on my remortgage last week and now they tell me BY EMAIL that this will be the 7th MAY ..... that's not even this week!!
I could go on forever about concerns over this company, what they haven't done for me and the problems they have caused me and my family but they have already taken up so much of my time.
PLEASE DONT USE THEM.

Absolutely appalling service. Only given one star as had to in order to write a review. Words fail me as it is an insult to customers not to be able to get any sort of response either by telephone or email contact.It also appears that actions stated have not been carried out properly as days later I am being informed that my current lender has not received a request for a mortgage redemption statement. I question the accuracy of the activity record which states this has been requested and chased; it has obviously not been followed up properly. This will cause yet more delay and cost to ourselves. Totally unacceptable company. From the poor reviews I have just seen poor reviews do not appear to be acted upon. A disgrace.

Poor communication, never answer the phone, don't respond to emails and this has resulted in missing our completion date and now I'm being charged by my previous lender!
Santander should stop using this company as it reflects terribly on their business.

Worst solicitors firm
Worst solicitors firm. I am in real estate business and never come across such a un-professional solicitors firm.
No appropriate reply to emails, phone calls whatsoever.
Keep telling waiting for the documents from other current lender which is not the case, as I have checked with them personally and requested/ these have been resend via fax and emails, still no progression in simple remortgage application.
Having missed the deadline for completion - I am paying higher interest rates.
Avoid using them.

What can I say. These "professionals" were acting for one of the buyers in our chain and nearly cost us our new house and the whole chain their sales.
Slow, impossible to get hold of, no urgency or appreciation for mandatory and un-movable deadlines, claiming they didn't have documentation that had been sent through multiple times by post and email, general incompetence...the list goes on and on.

- calls to them are with 0843 number, so be ready to fork out a massive phone bill
- they say they have done the "stuff" but you have to keep chasing every couple of days

Incompetent Staff
Incompetent staff, Delayed my mortgage completion and as a result lender charged me extra interest. I am still awaiting for my money. Called several times to get them to complete on time. But still made error on payment to previous lender hence delayed the completion. Staff are incompetent. I am very unhappy with the service. Barclays should not use QCAS.

Awful
Received a letter stating they are taking me to court for something that is in no way to do with me. They will not return phone calls, or emails to tell me what its about and they have not informed we where they got my address from in the first place. To me this seems like the are violating GDPR! It has been weeks and I am still trying to get in contact with them. I would avoid these scammers if possible!

I did have a good experience with these guys.
For one, it was free. The mortgage provider paid for the legal fees and QCAS were the incumbent chosen. That was cool, but not down to QCAS.
However in my case they performed admirably. I only had to call once and the chap (who was not my case worker) took ownership and dealt accordingly.
My contact, Bilaal, did all he good to see things through. Happy with the end result IMHO.
Can not believe Barclays would use this company.

I am most likely looking to with draw my application from Barclays because of Shulmns, QCas
They sent me a form to fill out. For entry fields were not working properly meaning I could not enter any text leaving the entry fields incomplete, which will then not allow you to send the form off back to them.
Phoned them up. took 5 attempts to phone them. was held on hold for about 40 mins each time before getting cut off.
Once through, the person on the other end of the phone said "yes don't worry about it and just send it." Though telling him that I can not send it due to the error on the form. and it will not allow me to send it
He insisted on not needing to email me a new one.
I have replied to the email address lrailton @ qcas.co.uk a couple times on the matter. Which states to email if any problems. Two to three weeks after I still have not heard anything.
I keep receiving a notification email informing me that i have not sent the questionnaire.
I will now give it two more weeks and i will withdraw my remortgage application if nothing is heard.

Terrible. Taken over 4 months to process an uncomplicated straightforward relatively small remortgage with HSBC halfway to completion. So slooooowwwwww!

After Barclays gave me this company for a remortgage I checked some reviews them and decided not to use them. I decided to pay for a different company to complete the work for me. Even after letting QCAS and Barclays know I did not want to use QCAS keep sending me emails asking for information. This company does not listen and does what it wants.
QCAS service was extremely slow and unresponsive
In short, I should say that QCAS service was extremely slow and unresponsive. Email communications were ignored and not responded to. It took them more than one month to complete the re-mortgage instruction. At some point, I had two mortgages running on my property due to their lack of effort to review the documents and respond to emails. I had to pay additional interest incurred due to QCAS lack of effort and inactive approach. I am very unsatisfied and became extremely stressed throughout this re-mortgage process. I had to call them and stayed on hold for an average of 30 minutes each time in order to be able to speak to someone, then they would review the submitted documents and take some action. If I didn't call them no progress was made. It was not possible to talk to the caseworker. I will never ever pass any work to QCAS.
I would like to submit a formal complaint against QCAS and their re-mortgage team to HSBC for the reasons mentioned above.
