first time sold used item on ebay and…
first time sold used item on ebay and sent via shutl. It came to address with broken box and unit in it broken in pieces. their insurance apparently for that particular product (capuchinomaker machine) is not working. So i lost £70 and they want me to pay their invoice!!!! For what i'm asking.

Shutl have lost a parcel I sent to a buyer. Tracking has it 'delayed' since May 22nd, about 5 weeks ago. Ebay have refunded (£115) the buyer but there has been nothing from Shutl despite a formal request. How do you reach these people and is there any recourse when they fail so miserably?

No immediate payment options or invoice info
when you think you pay them through Ebay you haven't. you get billed weeks later. Not the best of service and i will never use them again. I like to pay up if i sell immediately without getting surprising bills weeks later for something i thought i had already paid for. Wasn't the fastest of services either and a bit expensive compared to others. needs to allow immediate payments although i will be avoiding this service from now on. Trying to find your invoice is a nightmare i couldn't find information on postage except the tracking until i got the invoice weeks later.

Totally backwards
I contacted Shutl as the tracking ID for my package had not moved for a number of days only to be advised that as the customer waiting to receive the package they could not disclose any information. This could only be disclosed to the seller who created the label. I find this a bit backwards and being honest with you unsatisfactory.

Collection 3 days late, no apology or refund
Booked 2 collections from home, next day collection was indicated. 3 days later nobody had come to collect. The online tracking suggested collection had been attempted, not true, someone was in at all times and the parcel was outside on the front doorstep. I tried to contact Shutl with their Chat service but waited 70 minutes in the queue, moved from 12th to 5th, eventually realised they stop at 8pm and had all gone. Emailed and got a reply 5 days later that my parcel was delivered. Yes it was, 4 days later than indicated. No apology, no refund, no guarantee it won't happen again, no thanks.
Update: Jessie got back to me just 35 minutes after I posted this that's really fast! Sadly when I emailed on 19 June, Jessie asked me for my tracking IDs, i sent them but got no reply until 24 June. It seems that complaining on Trustpilot gets a response, using the official customer service line does not. Judge for yourselves if this is good service.

Appaling and dishonest service.
Just to add to all the other reviews.
Dropped 3 parcels off at Co-op for delivery by Hermes on Monday 17th June. Was given a receipt for 3 parcels. All 3 parcels were individually labelled. Only one parcel has been scanned in. This parcel was delivered.
The other 2 parcels are not on the system and have no tracking details and have simply vanished.
Total cost to me is going to be in excess of £270. I shall bring a claim via moneyclaim.gov.uk and let the courts decide as I won't be accepting the standard compensation. I'm not legal expert but surely they have a duty of care that exceeds their terms and conditions. They lost 2 out of 3 parcels at the first hurdle.

Most disgusting service ever.
I have sold a ssd drive on ebay and used ebay Shutl service which turns out be the worst choice. The item seems never been collected and mysteriously disappear from their system. The most ridiculous thing is that I have dropped two parcels at the same time but one is delivered and the other is missing. I am looking for various ways now including Small Money Court as well as contacting journalists. Everybody should stand up and reveal this company. I have to refund the buyer and send claim forms many times but no replies. Very very disappointed and never use again. AVOID.

Taking way too long to get back to me regarding the whereabouts of my parcel.
I am asked to wait for 21 days for 'an investigation' after I waited so long already; completely against their own policy.
I will no longer be using Shutl services.

Shoddy Shutl Service - Avoid at all costs!!
I used Sh*tl three weeks ago to deliver a parcel and it went missing for two weeks!
I refunded the buyer out of goodwill after 6 different customer service reps at Hermes admitted that the parcel was indeed lost. I then opened a claim process with this shower of shysters and heard nothing from them for five days....
Once the claim process was officially open and the buyer had been refunded, the parcel was then mysteriously discovered and delivered to the buyer leaving me seriously out of pocket.
After contacting Shutl directly I have now been told that I am only eligable for the cost of the postage and they could offer no advice for claiming the rest of my money back.
Seriously disappointed with the whole process TBH and will not be using this service again!
There is no option within eBay to claim back this lost money as far as I can see and once again feel let down as a genuine seller!

Poor customer service.
Waited in for delivery due yesterday or today. No sign yet and the live chat is a waste of time. Apparently they can't use my address details as the buyer to trace the parcel because "our service is with the seller". What an absolute crock. Don't tell me they can't look up the recipient's address on their system and determine where the parcel is or give an estimated delivery time, like any half decent delivery service would! Classic "Computer says no" BS. Suggest the '2-3' delivery serice is renamed '2 to whenever we can be bothered'. *update....reply confirms shutl don't give a damn about one half of their customer base. Also, no explanation as to any delay or effort to help. Speaks for itself that they don't consider I might also be an Ebay seller who will now avoid their third rate service like the plague. Congrats Shutl, yet another customer lost and I'll never buy from a seller who uses Shutl again.

Terribly unreliable service
I've had one reliable pick up, via eBay Shutl.
Since then I've had a courier turn up shouting aggressively about a parcel he wanted to collect, when there was none to collect.
Now I've had a missed collection and there is no contact phone number so it's hard to sort out.
I was told I could use local drop off points or re book. I can't drop off at these as my item is too heavy and bulky to carry. I don't have a car to take to drop off points.
I don't have a printer at home to reprint collection label.
I've got to move shortly.
I've not got time to organise what they messed up. This is ridiculous. Shutl should sort out their own mess, not the customer.
This is terrible customer service.
Quite unprofessional frustrating service all in all.
I will recommend to eBay to use a different delivery option as their go to.

I've not had a second attempt of courier picking up. I've been home all the time.
I've been emailing with your customer service for 3 days. But they have not managed to send a courier round.
Their suggestion is that I drop off which I am unable to do, which is why I booked a collection.
Shutl seems unable to sort this out.

I won't repeat what EVERYONE says about this utterly dire excuse for a courier company, but what i will say is any company that still charges you delivery after they lose a parcel have some seriously bad practices ...need i say more. Speaking or even contacting to them is impossible. An eBay company so the only guarantee is they will be dreadful - at least they got that right

Be Aware -Fake admin fee
I have been using them for ebay parcels for while now . But never went in details for our monthly invoices . We have been charged the Admin fee for few of parcels almost every month . They charged the Admin due to little oversize parcel but don't charge when its nearly double oversize . Is this some sort of joke they can detect the 5cm oversize but not the 40cm oversize . For same small parcel when its 5cm over we have been charged admin fee but for 40cm oversize no charge . How smartly they are ripping off people . I will never use them again .

I cannot believe that DPD can be so bad. I have always praised them for their services but this week I was completely let down by EBay Shutl and DPD.
Usualy DPD collect my items for delivery but as I had a hospital appointment, I dropped them off at PC World in Hull. This was on Monday at around midday. I paid for next day delivery but was amazed when the customers complained today that they had not had their items.
It took some checking but turned out they had been sitting at the drop off location for 2 days. DPD did say that they had driver issues but then said to complain to Shutl about it. I have done so but have still to hear back.
I have had to compensate my customers and will even go so far as to say that I will think about using Hermes next time. That's how I feel about the service I received....Hermes could do better.

If I could go any lower with this rating I'd go negative. I printed labels for my parcel to be delivered and set pickup dates. First day of delivery no sign of the couriers at all so I live chat the shutl website(50 minute queue to talk to someone btw) and they tell me they came in the morning which is an absolute lie as I have been in all day.They then told me they would try again the next day and so I wait. Again a no show. So back to the sites live chat and i'm then told that my cosignment number hasn't been received by them at all so no couriers were dispatched on either day. So now i've wasted 2 whole days waiting at home for nothing and my buyers item is also 2 days late. This service is an absolute scam, don't go anywhere near it.

this company is a total scam whatever you do do not use shuttle from eBay it's a stand-alone company that doesn't really have anything to do with eBay but uses their website for posting items the problem is that when you do postal item they completely overcharge you double charge you and try to take money from your account and also the cost of a lot more expensive using them because he don't tell you the toll until you've clicked onto it and it added to or £3 for each item I got charged over £175 and these still are trying to get more money out of me even though I open the case against him one it and I'm still getting letters demanding payment whatever you do stay well clear of this company they are totally and utterly rip-off
