Great Service & Professional Team

Smart box is a very professional service provider. I received an excellent service from the friendly and professional team. Each and every member I spoke to went out of their way to assist me. Glad I chose smart box Sydney which is efficient and a very creative solution to storage problems.

I was so happy with my whole experience…

I was so happy with my whole experience dealing with Smartbox, right from the booking , paying, emailing me each step of the way. The guys on the day were just amazing. it's fair to say I have moved a few times in my life and I have never been happier than I was to have chosen Smartbox. The men arrived right on time

The men arrived right on time. We discussed the plan at the start. Eg what was fragile. What needed to be accessible for me from the storage box eg the Christmas tree and decorations in December, etc. They then checked back on things as they went. They loaded the truck within the quoted estimate time. They were very friendly and courteous from beginning to end. I was really delighted with the whole experience.

Smartbox was the right choice for us.

Right from the outset we thought we'd made the right choice with Smartbox. Communication with head-office was excellent. We really had no clue about how much storage we would need or what we should do beforehand, but the Smartbox office person guided us through the whole process clearly and patiently. The two guys who did the packing for us were friendly and helpful too. They were experts at their job and took great care of our belongings. The whole process went quickly and smoothly, even with all the Covid-19 protocols. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Smartbox storage.

Friendly people, efficient service

I hired a Smartbox last week and so far can only praise the service received. My sales person was Tanya, who I found to be very friendly, responsive, efficient and certainly trusting of me (I made a mistake with the bank account details and advance payment could not be collected).
I as offered delivery of the box the day before by Operations, which was very convenient for me. Also great communication with the driver, John, re delivery and pick up. The box was clean and looked secure.

Great service

This is a great service. Took all the hassle out of storing our furniture during renovation.
There was no parking outside our block but the driver was happy to hang around for at least 30 mins until someone moved.
Very helpful.

We used Smartbox to do a full house…

We used Smartbox to do a full house relocation. John and his team were fantastic and did a great job. I would highly recommend them if you plan on moving house.

Smartbox were fantastic

Smartbox were fantastic! Arrived on time for pickup and drop-off, were professional and took really good care of all our items. Great service that helped us store a house worth of furniture for a few days in between house settlements. Would use again and definitely recommend. Service and communication from Jessica at Head Office was great too and timely!

We were selling and we needed to…de-clutter in a hurry.

We were selling and we needed to de-clutter our house in a hurry for the Open House. We organised a Smart Box and it came in a timely manner, the Bedroom size fitted a lot of things for storage. It was taken away the next day and kept safe until we recently requested to have it returned. Such a simple and stress free option when trying to downsize but don't have time to do through everything in a hurry. I would recommend Smart Box to anyone.

If you would like to pay $800 to move a…

If you would like to pay $800 to move a sofa and the sofa has not been lifted upstairs but in the public car park with damages and claimed it’s not their responsibility to make sure the job can be done, please contact them

*To prove the job can be done, I hired another company to move my sofa upstairs to my living room, and it’s done!

Update: Got a call from John saying that i didnt tell the full story so Let me list the things ive got
1 3 seater sofa + 1 1 seater sofa + 1 matress + 1 coffee table + 1 bike + boxes and other small items,yes the 3 seater sofa is the biggest item.

Job is to get these things out from the warehouse and move to my place.

The 3 stars are for the friendly staff on the day - George in the warehouse and John. Not a full 5 stars are for the money I paid for the disappointing outcomes plus damages and big holes to the sofa pictures can be provided.

I'm sorry you feel this way but it is important to be factual in these situations. Your booking was for far more than moving a sofa upstairs. We had 3 staff members assisting you repack your storage modules at our warehouse, we then delivered furniture (far more than 1 sofa) to your apartment and unloaded the furniture into the apartment. Unfortunately your very large 4 seater sofa could not fit into the building lift and under your direction we attempted to take the sofa up the fire stairs. Unfortunately once again the sofa was too large. After all this you were given a 40% discount off the total charge. We always aim to please and are disappointed when our service does not meet customer expectations however in this case I feel the team did a great job in difficult circumstances and the oricing provided was extremely generous given it was the majority of a full day for three staff members.

The team at SmartBox have been amazing

The team at SmartBox have been amazing. We are stuck overseas and needed to clear a central store location and have them pack it to this new smartbox system - we dealt with the entire process via email, everything was as they said it would be, the process was seamless, really well done.

Staff were really good but sofas were…

Staff were really good but sofas were not packed properly resulting in the arms being crushed even though we drew attention to it at the time. Still usable but a bit annoying.
At the end there was a discussion about time taken as we had two trailers and there was waiting time between. There was time taken off for the waiting period but, at the end there was confusion as the company were trying to charge travel time for both trailers and so , although there was only 3 hrs actual unpacking time , there was another 3 hours travel time.
Anyway, John the manager, sorted it out and we only paid 4.5 hours altogether.
If anyone else is thinking of hiring them they should pay careful attention to the travel time part.
