Thought Heroku was the easiest, until I tried something simpler
Heroku has always been known as the “just push and deploy” platform, and that’s exactly why I started using it. In the beginning, it does feel simple.
But after trying other platforms recently, I realized that even Heroku’s setup isn’t as effortless as it seems.
You still have to think about buildpacks, dynos, environment configs, add-ons, and how everything fits together. It’s manageable, but not exactly “hands-off.” There’s still a learning curve, especially if you’re new.
I recently switched to a platform where I literally just connected my repo, and everything else, build, deploy, scaling, was handled automatically without needing to configure anything manually. No thinking about dynos, no extra setup steps. That felt like what “simple deployment” should actually be.
That shift made me realize Heroku sits in this middle ground, it simplifies some things, but still expects you to understand quite a bit.
So yeah, Heroku is decent, but I wouldn’t call it the simplest option anymore, even for beginners. There are newer approaches now that make deployment feel almost effortless from day one.

Aiden at AdvancedMD is seriously one of the best sales reps I’ve ever worked with. This company is really on top of it.
As a general partner at a firm with over 100 medical professionals, and someone who has spent a lifetime in development and technology working with GSA, FBI, NOAA, GAO, Google, and a lot of other major agencies and companies, I can honestly say Aiden is one of the most thorough and professional software reps I’ve dealt with. He actually listens, follows up, and knows the product inside and out which is rare these days.
I’m genuinely looking forward to working with Aiden and AdvancedMD for years to come.
This EHR clearly has both the tech and the people behind it to go the distance for what we need. It feels like a real long term partner, not just another vendor.

Quick response and efficient recommendation. Little heavy on the follow-up emails but good if they didn't find what you needed on the first try. Only got the one recommendation, would've liked one or two more. Used them to help find a software for a small remodel company

They listened to our needs and wants. They provided us with the top 5 software companies with the features and accessories that we asked for without us having to go through hundreds of companies online making it so much easier and less stressful for us and less time consuming which in our business speaks volumes. We found the perfect software program
The recommended software companies were very responsive except we never heard from HubSpot. The program we chose was for a company that never appeared in our web searches, so if we hadn't received your recommendation, we never would have found the perfect software program for our company.
