I've always wanted a breast augmentation from a very young age. After visiting many different clinics, I knew instantly that Sthetix was the one for me. Mr Alvi took the time to explain thoroughly everything involved and Karen assured me that if I had any issues or questions that they were only an email or phone call away (which they were!) The whole procedure went smoothly and it was surprisingly an enjoyable experience. My results are fabulous and I can't wipe the smile off my face! So thankful to all at Sthetix, especially Mr. Alvi.

I would recommend the Sthetix clinic to anyone contemplating cosmetic surgery. I felt completely confident with my consultant Mr RIzwan Alvi who had explained the procedure and listening to my expectations. The procedure which was fat transfer for scar revision was painless throughout, which was due to the consideration and kindness of my consultant during the procedure. I am very happy with my result.

I spent 10 years of feeling trapped in my own body; hiding in baggy tops and bigger size bottoms so i could tuck my excess tummy skin in. Never taking my kids swimming etc really hurt. Id done my reasearch and visited quite a few different surgeons but never felt comfortable... until the day i went for a consultation at Sthetix! I was listened to and felt at ease by all the staff and ,most importantly, by Mr Alvi. I was encouraged to come back with questions and every question I had was answered. I had a removal and re augmentation with Mr Alvi last year an I am trilled with the results! I could not fault the company at all the hospital I chose was brilliant and so where the staff.
I would defiantly recommend anyone considering cosmetic surgery to speak with Mr Alvi, he's a really genuine person not like other surgeons that are quite pushy.
On a whole sthetix in my opinion is brilliant. The after care is also excellent if I ever consider cosmetic surgery in the future sthetix would be my first choice

From my 1st consultation with Mr Alvi I felt at ease, what a lovely man !
I was considering a face and neck lift and after doing my own research decided to book a free consultation with Sthetix and Mr Alvi. He listened to me and gave me all the information I asked about ( and a lot more I hadn't thought about ! ) He listened to all my concerns and worries and patiently explained everything to me in a way I could understand. By the time I had my surgery I had been to see Mr Alvi 3 times not once was I charged for this and I never felt any pressure at any time from anyone at Sthetix Karen and all the team are very professional and friendly.
Mr Alvi had suggested fat transfer and boy am I glad I listened to him and had that done ! I feel it has given my face a nicer fuller shape.
Anyway to get back to my surgery ... I had my op at Renacres Mr Alvi came to my room before surgery and explained again what would be happening then the anaesthetist came by and introduced himself and asked a few questions and put me at ease ,after which I walked down with the nurse to the operating theatre hopped on the bed and I cant remember another thing !! The whole procedure was completely painless. I woke up in my room and apart from feeling groggy couldn't believe I'd had my surgery. The staff at Renacres were wonderful and looked after me extremely well , my only regret is I'd lost my appetite and couldn't enjoy the wonderful food the chef kept preparing for me !! The next morning Mr Alvi called in to check on me and reassure me everything had gone smoothly.
My recovery went well my face was quite swollen and bruised for the first 5 days then it started to go down and the bruises turned yellow and slowly disappeared. After 2 weeks I could go out with heavy make-up on to hide the small bruising that was still there. After three weeks I returned to work and although I felt I looked completely different nobody passed comment on my face but I did have people telling me I looked well and was I wearing my hair differently or had I lost weight !!
Nine months on and I can honestly say I am so pleased with the decision I made to go ahead with my face lift my scars are hardly noticeable and I am constantly being told how well I look. I put all this down to Mr Alvi and the team at Sthetix.
If you are considering facial surgery I strongly recommend you make a consultation with Mr Alvi it wont cost you anything and I can assure you, you wont be disappointed.

I went to see Mr Alvi at Sthetix initially for a fat transfer to breasts, I chose him due to his experience in the NHS with breast reconstruction as my family have a history with breast cancer, after a lengthy discussion he decided my safest option would be a breast augmentation to go under the muscle if I wanted larger breasts, which I had for years.
I did not feel rushed or pushed into deciding what to do, he gave me the facts and wanted me to go away and think more about it, no treatment is agreed unless he has seen me over two appointments. I struggled deciding on what size implants to have as I was scared I would not look natural. Mr Alvi, Karen and the team were brilliant, even supporting me over the phone the weekend before my operation during a meltdown and making me a last minute appointment at the clinic on the morning of my operation so I could be sure id chosen the right size. The Catherine suite at the Liverpool Womens hospital was such a fantastic place too, the staff there were so supportive, professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. In my opinion every penny I have spent was worth it, I even have a review appointment with Mr Alvi in a years time to check all is still okay. This company shone from the off, it had a full list of all surgeons and their qualifications and specialities online, I was very nervous about having the breast reduction surgery but when I rang I was impressed with the knowledge and understanding of the receptionist, ( I had previously looked into another company but was not at all impressed with the way things were handled I felt as-though I was in a cattle market).
On my first appointment with the surgeon again everything was fully and carefully explained to me including things that could go wrong, I felt very comfortable and not pressured in anyway.
On the day of my operation I asked the surgeon to reduce my breast as much as he could, I am absolutely over the moon with the results, my only regret is not having it done sooner. The care in the hospital was great, very relaxed.

my whole experience with sthetix was absolutely brilliant from my first phone call to the after care. From my first phone call I felt completely confident in the company as they was not pushing me into anything unlike other companies I had looked into, they simply gave me the information I needed and gave me chance to think about my decision! MR KHAN who performed my operation was amazing and very professional, he told me all the important information I needed to know at my consultation and made me feel very at ease and confident about the surgery. As I wanted my surgery as soon as possible MR KHAN and the team done everything they could and booked me in very quickly which I can not thank them enough for. I had my surgery at The Catherine Suite in The women's Hospital in Liverpool, I was looked after very well by all the nurses there and the suite is perfect. My surgery went extremely well and the results where even better than I expected! I can honestly not thank MR KHAN enough for the surgery and the care he gave me. In addition to this the aftercare at Sthetix is just as good as the surgery, can not fault it at all!

The whole experience with Sthetix was brilliant from the vey first telephone conversation with Karen(who was very informative) ,through to my consultations with Mr Alvi and my after care.The whole team are very friendly and helpful. My surgery itself went really well Mr Alvi was very supportive and I felt totally confident with him as my surgeon. The results are better than I thought possible and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the clinic to others

Didn't have to wait long to see surgeon. On day of surgery they put me at ease and explained what will happen. Only took 5mins. Explained what I needed to do after surgery so I wouldn't have much scaring at the end result. Had 2 check up appointments afterwards to make sure it was healing correctly. He advised I could get laser hair removal around May which I will be doing.

Apologies for the long review but I wanted to give a full account of how excellent the service is from the entire Sthetix team.

I had always wanted a 'boob job' as I felt my chest was out of proportion to the rest of my body.

After the birth of my daughter and breast feeding - my breasts ended up extremely 'empty' and I had zero volume. I had my wedding coming up and being only 27 - I decided to take the plunge and get something done so I could look like the bride I wanted to - wearing a shapely wedding dress.

I obviously researched clinics who did the procedure and came across Sthetix - I was surprised to find a clinic so close to me in Liverpool - I read the reviews on here and saw how qualified Dr Alvi was so I decided to give them a go. Dr Alvi later explained that the clinic does not advertise as they get all their patients from recommendations! Something I now definitely understand!

From the very first phone call to the team I felt totally supported and in control of the process. There was no pressure, no hard sell and at every stage I was given lots of time to consider my options, even additional appointments were available if required.

At my first appointment Dr Alvi was extremely professional and honest about what the results for me could be. He let me try on lots of sizers and even had a little sense of humour about how big was toooo big for me!

We chose two sizes as I have asymmetry and I was told the next stage was a second appointment where measurements would be taken and more questions could be raised. I felt under no pressure to make this second appointment and all the time the team put in to supporting me was done on a no-obligation basis.

I ended up waiting a few months for my second appointment as I wanted to make sure the time was right for work and home life before moving ahead. At my second appointment I confirmed the sizes I wanted and paid the deposit - it all felt really empowering and I felt like I was really well informed. Many 'high street' clinics and chains only let you see a surgeon after you have had an appointment with a nurse and have committed to surgery however at Sthetix you get to meet the person performing the operation from the word go.

A few weeks passed in between paying and having my op (all this was at my request as I needed time to sort childcare and work) during this time I emailed the girls at Sthetix various questions - sometimes at weekends - they always came back to me within the hour! Even on a Sunday! Their support and customer service was excellent - they even let me come in and try on the sizers again just a few days before my op! Nothing is too much to ask of these girls and that really helps when making such a big decision.

On the day of my Op I attended Liverpool Women's hospital and met all the team who would be looking after me - some of whom I had met previously at my preOp appointment.

Dr Alvi came to see me, chatted through the process again and marked me up. I honestly felt so at ease in his hands - I had never had a general anaesthetic before so this was my biggest concern but honestly - I needn't have worried! It was all very relaxing!

As I had some asymmetry in size I had left it up to Dr Alvi to decide whether one breast would be 420cc or 390cc to correct the difference. He took his time in the surgery and used sizers plus his judgement to ensure I got an excellent result. The surgery took a little longer because of this but I'm so glad I had a surgeon who was prepared to take the time and care needed to achieve the best outcome for me personally.

When I woke up after my surgery I was groggy but didn't feel much pain and honestly I remained that way - some people struggle terribly after under the muscle surgery but I really didn't find it a problem and I firmly believe this was down to Dr Alvi's skill as a surgeon.

Dr Alvi came to see my partner whilst I was in recovery and explained in detail how well the operation had gone - little bleeding which meant excellent recovery process. It was great of him to spend time updating and reassuring my partner who was waiting for me to come round.

Obviously I followed my post op advice to rest, wear the compression band for 6 weeks and I did find it tricky to get up in the morning without using my arms to push-up but really other than that I was up and about as normal within 2 days. I listened to my body and didn't do too much so by the time of my 6 week check up my new boobs felt like old news! They settled so well and so quickly!

I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Alvi to anyone considering surgery, his team and his expertise are outstanding. Thank you!

I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are friendly, welcoming & really made me feel at ease. I had seen another surgeon prior to going to Sthetix. However, I knew almost immediately during my 1st consultation that I would be booking my procedure with Sthetix & Mr Alvi as my surgeon. What an amazing man. So friendly but very honest about the risks & complications associated with breast augmentation. He was very thorough & answered all my questions. I wasn't rushed & there was no pressure to book surgery. However, I was so impressed by his professionalism & his ability to make me feel at ease that I booked my surgery that day with excitement & a touch of nerves.

My surgery day passed without any complications. I experienced no pain just a little discomfort. My surgery took place at Renacres Hospital & the staff there were amazing too. I was looked after every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble. The day after my surgery I saw Mr Alvi before I was discharged & he was pleased with how the procedure had gone. Later that day I received a courtesy call from the clinic to check that all was well.

Unfortunately, around 6 weeks post op I sufferered a minor complication. I saw Mr Alvi at the hospital and he advised that I would need to have a further very minor operation to secure internal stitches in my right breast. He reassured me that all would be well & it was nothing to worry about. I was booked in & once again the surgery took place without any problems. I would like to add that this complication was my own fault as I had not rested well enough immediately after my surgery.

6 weeks after my 2nd op, I returned to see Mr Alvi at the clinic & everything was as it should be with no further appointments or surgery required. He was very pleased with the results. I am due to see Mr Alvi in 12 months time for my annual check up.

Despite the minor complication I could not be happier with my choice of Sthetix Clinic, Mr Alvi as my surgeon & the results I've had following my surgery.

If you are considering breast augmentation, then you definitely should contact Sthetix Clinic & Mr Alvi is just the best.

My experience was more than i could ever ask for. my results from my surgery were truly amazing more than i could have imagined. I had a full Tummy Tuck & liposuction with Sthetix on 6th August 2013. I am 7 weeks post op today and I have to say I am so happy and glad I chose to have my surgery with Sthetix. I had been to a few clinics and spoke to surgeons but wasn't happy and I came across Sthetix by chance researching reviews on the Internet. I was impressed with all the reviews so i decided to go for a consultation. I spoke to a Lovely lady called Karen who was very helpful. I was booked in to see surgeon Mr Alvi . Mr Alvi is so lovely warm and very friendly and made me feel at ease. We discussed in length all about my procedure. Mr Alvi is very experienced and talented. He gained my trust right from the start. Which I think is very important when choosing to have cosmetic surgery. I was looked after so well by Mr Alvi & all his staff. I had my surgery at The Catherine Suite in The women's Hospital in Liverpool and I was looked after very well by all the nurses there too. I am so happy and pleased with my new tummy I just can not explain :) Mr Alvi has done an excellent job he has just totally changed my life :) Also Mr alvi told me he stood by my bed holding my hand for an hour when I was in recovery. Thank you Mr Alvi :) Although I don't know what I was talking about because I was a lil out of it from the anesthetic ooops, but it was all good. Just how lovely is that. Just shows how caring he is.
