I live too far away to have met face to face with Charlie but my experiences by text were excellent . He was extremely helpful and i am so pleased with my wheelchair. It is exactly as described, in fact, as good as new.

Absolutely love my scooter,looks brand new TBH,and at a very reasonable price. Kept informed from beginning to end by Charlie,even sorted my log book with DVLA. Delivery also superb by their own very helpful driver,so no pallet to dispose of. All in all so very pleased and I couldn’t recommend Sunshine Scooters highly enough.

After deciding on the model to suit my needs , i contacted Sunshine scooters to arrange this purchase , everything was dealt with professionally and with care , communication to arrange delivery was brilliant , the scooter arrived earlier than stated so that i could get on with the rest of my day , brilliant service , MANY THANKS i might be back soon .

I was very pleased with the service offered by Charlie at Sunshinescooters. The initial scooter I purchased was on test driving it at home was unsuitable. I contacted Charlie who without any questions or fuss offered to collect the scooter and refund me the purchase price. As I was searching the other scooters for sale on the site I saw TGA Breeze that would be ideal for me. I messaged Charlie and we quickly arranged for collection and delivery of the new scooter for the same day. The scooter arrived yesterday and I am delighted with it and very grateful for Charlie’s patience and understanding. I would fully recommend both Sunshinescooters and Charlie to anyone. Well done Charlie.

We seen sunshine scooters on ebay , and bought a scooter and it was brilliant, but it came up with a fault, and you can always judge a company with there aftercare service , and simply superb, they went above and beyond , Charlie who delt with the fault was truly amazing , they picked it up and kept informed throughout the repair and delivered it back to us ,
So if if looking for a mobility scooter give them a try you wont be disappointed

I thought I was on a winner when I came across Sunshine Scooters. The pre-sales advice and speed of answering emails was great, then sale price of the scooter I bought was good too.
So I made my purchase, it was delivered, that’s where it all went wrong.
On the day of delivery, taking it off the pallet and just driving it up the garden path to the shed, it’s rattling like no one’s business. It seemed to be a loose panel on the back, maybe knocked during delivery, I don’t know.
When the weather was next dry enough I had a look and found I could not get the battery cover panel to sit right, so contacted Sunshine Scooters for advice. After several emails they turned out to be pretty useless and I thought I had fixed it myself.
A short while later the rattle reappeared so I contacted Sunshine again but after a couple of emails they stopped responding!
Next issue, when I purchased, I was told that Sunshine would send off for the V5c log book in my name for me. Nearly 2 months now and no V5 has arrived. I contacted Sunshine, and have very little confidence that they actually sent off for one.
Such a shame as I had high hopes pre-sale and would happily have purchased again and recommended to the many disabled people I know, and groups I’m a member of.
Why do some companies insist on just taking the money and not caring?

Of course your customer service was 5 star pre-sale, you're after my money at that point
5* ratings across the board apart from mine you say? Did you miss the 1* review you received on 29th April? Also please remember that most of your very few reviews are from customers that you know are happy and you've asked to review you.
At no stage did you cease communication via email, oh perhaps you could clarify, on 3/12/25 you asked for photos of the loose panel and lugs, I responded, and that the was last I heard from you, perhaps it got lost in the email system?
As for Sunshine Scooters resolving any concerns propmtly and professionaly, this has not been my experience. Especially telephoning me early on a Sunday morning when after you've seen and taken exception to my review!
Further Edit: It seems that if you leave a negative review for Sunshine Scooters, they will report you, beware

Really easy company to deal with. Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The transaction was easy and pleasant. I felt in very safe hands and am super pleased with my scooter. I would highly recommend this company and would be happy to deal with them again.

This is one of the very best disability scooter suppliers anywhere, it's hard nowadays to sort the wheat from the chaff but Sunshine Scooters is exemplary in every way. Customer service was outstanding and Charlie kept me advised regularly about delivery, which was superbly organised and very fast, despite being in the hectic pre-Christmas period. The scooter itself was even better than described and in virtually new condition. What a very great pleasure it was to deal with such a genuine, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful outfit. Highly recommended, go for it!

Absolutely excellent and true to there word and warranties , bought a scooter and even though they are well over a 3 hour drive away they got a engineer out to help me within the week and I only had a couple of months left on my warranty.honestly they are good as gold definitely 5 stars

I contacted sunshine scooters because I couldn't get our scooter to work and spoke to a very helpful gentleman called Charlie he advised me how to sort the problem and now it's working fine

I can honestly say that,I’ve never been so impressed with a mobility scooter shop and there aftercare. I purchased my Scooter from them on EBay with a Year’s warranty and even though I stay well over a 100 miles away and only a couple of months left on my warranty, they got a engineer out and even replaced the part that gave me some problems. I stay a good 3 hours drive away and yet they got someone here to fix the problem.If I ever need a new or second hand scooter I would stick with them.

I was looking to replace my electric wheelchair, but wasn't sure which model would be the best for me, since I had some very specific requirements. I phoned up Sunshine Scooters and had a fantastic conversation all about what I needed and what would suit me best - they're so knowledgeable and happy to help!

I ended up ordering the chair they recommended and I'm SO happy with it - it was fantastically priced, arrived really quickly, and looks like new. It suits my requirements perfectly. I cannot recommend them enough!

The website is excellent, with lots of photos of every scooter for sale. You can choose to browse all scooters or view 4mph or 8mph models, which was very convenient. All scooters looked in excellent condition, with the component parts (tyres, battery etc) given a rating out of ten. I immediately got the impression that they took great care of the products they were selling, and I was right. The scooter I received was in immaculate condition. Nationwide delivery was included in the price, arriving in the morning with a full charge so my father could use it straightaway that day. Communication via email or phone was excellent. I couldn't be more impressed with this company. Highly recommended.
