Everything seemed fine for the first few weeks after I made the deposit and opened my account. things went smoothly. After that,the account manager (claiming to be a senior account manager) insisted I should invest more money, possibly all my savings, to earn passive income each month. He told me that investing in ISAs and banks doesn’t give you much return, and suggested I invest in Bitcoin instead.

I invested £500, but that wasn’t enough for him. The account manager started shouting at me in an aggressive way. At the time, I was dealing with some family issues, so I didn’t pay much attention. However, I did want to close my account and get my refund. At that point, I had made a profit of £1,333. When he realized I wasn’t going to invest more, he changed my settings on the app and desktop, and all my profit disappeared.

At that moment, I knew I wouldn’t be getting my money back. A few days later, another accountant called and said he could help me get my money back. Without my consent, he said he has invested my money in oil. Later, he called to say I lost the investment because the oil price went down, all I was keep telling him that I want to close my account.

Two days later, someone else phoned claiming to be the head of accounts, and said he could help me. I gave him all the details hoping he could help me access my money and he said he would listen to the recordings and get back to me. When I called him again, he said there was nothing more he could do, and I lost my money. He offered to be my account manager if I wanted to start over.

If you want to invest for a secure future, Sydney.FX is not the way to go.
They'll make you believe you can have a 35% turnover and be able to take money back into to your bank account at anytime.
Neither of these things are the truth, that's just the introductory lure and not the reality.

I started with the usual £250 and then invested a further £4500. I emphasised I wanted to take things slowly, I was not greedy. For the first few months things were going really well, I was making about $4-500 per day with my trades in gold, taking the advice to wait for the price to rise a bit then place a trade, and pull out when I judged it would be best. I started with a 0.2 then gradually worked up as my confidence increased to a 5 point trade. Doing very nicely, I made about £14000 from my trades. I asked my broker to withdraw my original stake, and he made umpteen reasons why I should not do it. He stopped short of refusing point-blank to let me withdraw my funds.

He then took out a trade at 20 points with a hedge, and my funds rapidly depleted, I was left with about £150 in the account with the advisor repeatedly telling me to invest more of my own funds into it. I refused then overnight all trades were suddenly stopped and I was left with a negative account.

I was quite happy to continue trading until this 20 point hedged trade was introduced.

I don't suppose I'll ever see my £5000 back again.

They won't let me withdraw my balance, now they are demanding more fee to process my payment. With that going on, they reopened my closed trades, so my margin is gets drained. It's over for this company, avoid them.
I am now using pointway'io after I got a recommendation from a colleague at work. it's quite easy to use and the returns are paid out quickly on request.

Well another day and another broken promise that my account manager would call to help me withdraw my available funds and wrap up my account. Since 25th November I have requested this every day. Repeated requests, via email, what’s app, what’s laughingly called Live Support and telephone calls are being ignored. I’m terminally ill. I’ve explained this on numerous occasions. My time is limited. I’m having to spend it chasing this company and the account managers. Customer support is useless. All they say is that they will pass the message on. It’s atrocious! I’ve even asked them to come clean and tell me if what I suspect is correct.. That I’ve been conned. They were a bit shocked but once composed I was again assured that they are a reputable firm. Obviously that’s not the case. My own fault I suppose. Anyway I’ve contacted the Financial Conduct Authority, My Bank and have contacted TV’s Martin Lewis. This is the 2nd time I’ve written a review here. The first time I was called by someone screaming at me to take it down. I did as I had written it in anger. This time I’m cool as a cucumber. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU RUN FOR THE HILLS! Also I suspect my details have been passed on or sold to other companies as I get repeated scam emails and texts. Watch this space.

Initially I had a good experience with Sydney FX and saw my investment grow rapidly. However I have recently had a need to withdraw a large proportion of the investment. I have made withdrawals previously and they have all gone very smoothly but these were for small sums of money. My account manager told me that he had executed the transaction last week but I have not had a confirmation email from Sydney FX. Then today I get a phonecall from someone else at Sydney FX claiming they have an obligation on behalf of the FCA to check the end to end payment and I would need to download some software essentially to see my bank accounts. Sydney FX are not authorised by the FCA so this request makes no sense. In addition I was told that Sydney FX are closing all private accounts and unless I agreed to the request they would close the account without paying me. I have tried to contact my account manager but have not had a response. If Sydney FX organise the transfer of money as promised I will happily amend this review.

Since my review above, the reply below from SydneyFX.io states that I appear to be lying. On 10 Jan 25, Sydney FX transferred $50US to my Kraken account as a test to confirm the account details were correct. The money was received in less than 14 minutes. My Account Manager at Sydney FX then confirmed a further $20,000 USD had been sent to the same Kraken account. This money has never been received. It is also not listed as a withdrawal within my Sydney FX account however it has been deducted from my remaining balance within my trading account. My Account Manager has not responded to any of my subsequent messages, and there is no formal way to complain - well, not one I can find. Sydney FX have all my account details to make the transfer but for some reason, are unwilling to execute the transaction. These are not unfounded accusations and I have all the paperwork to support these statements.

Things started off well, with good communication and positive behaviour from the account manager when you made a small deposit. After a few months, the account manager began pressuring to invest more money. When you refused, the behaviour became more aggressive, with constant calls and high-pressure tactics. I wanted to close my account due to personal issues, when the company came to know that I am not going to invest more money slowly they stopped communicating with me, cannot access account on my mobile app they changed settings so I was unable to withdraw money.

Thankyou so much, Daniel and his team for allowing me this experience with them in the cryptocurrency space. They have been very informative and patient with me. Thankyou once again.
I will recommend them to anyone.

This is an update to my previous review on 5th November. Sadly little has changed, SydneyFX have refused to return my funds unless I deposit an additional $7500 into my account which of course I refuse to do. They have reopened my closed trades meaning that through the charges being applied my margin is being slowly eroded and will eventually be 0 at which time they can close my account and there’s nothing I can do to stop this. However, on a positive front the UK fraud squad are pursuing their enquiries and have given me some options to recover my initial deposit of £3800 as this was through a UK company and as such are regulated by the FCA and UK law.

Oscar was kind and patient explaining all about the AI trading and how he could assist with my investment planning in the future.

Seen a pilot to buy share. Gave it a go.
