I had my car insurance with AA for 1…
I had my car insurance with AA for 1 month. Changed cars and they wouldn’t insure me.. Had to pay £25 for a phone call as they didn’t give me an online option. Had to pay £109 to cancel my insurance. I’d also paid extra for their breakdown cover which of course I also lost. Edit, re your reply. If I could have been given a reason as to why ? This would have helped with my decision. An excessive jump from £300 to £500 was something I couldn’t afford at the time.

Hi Susan, we've had a look and it seems your Underwriter couldn't cover your new car. We were able to offer a quote with a different one, but you decided to cancel the policy instead. A refund was issued, although cancellation charges may have applied. We hope you've managed to get everything sorted and find alternative cover.

AA car Insurance provided a quick quote and took my payment equally quickly. I can't really say anymore than that as I've nothing else to base my review on. In the unlikely event of me actually needing this cover I'll do another review on service provided.
