I received my new quote on 22/06 from £530 to £850 I contacted them and they were very unhelpful and told them I was definitely cancelling.
I went onto a well known Comparison site and entered my details and the AA Motor Insurance was exactly the premium I required and was even cheaper than my previous purchase for last year. I decided I would rather speak to someone as I was wanting to make sure I was getting the proper policy. When I rang them I got through almost immediately and spoke to a lovely Geordie operator and he confirmed that I had the right policy that I required. I would highly recommend this Company both for the price and customer service.

Title: Left stranded with my pet dog after my home flooded – Appalling service from AA Insurance."I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of support and duty of care I received from AA Insurance following a devastating flood at my property. When my home was deemed uninhabitable, I expected my insurance to provide safe, temporary accommodation for both me and my pet dog.Instead of stepping in to help during this highly stressful emergency, AA Insurance completely failed to provide safe alternative accommodation for my dog. Insurers have a well-known duty of care and policy parameters to support customers and their domestic pets in these scenarios. However, their handling of this situation was entirely inadequate, leaving my pet dog Archie, a cockapoo a vulnerable pet in an impossible and unsafe situation resulting in his theft. If you are a pet owner, stay well clear of AA home insurance. They are happy to take your premiums, but when disaster strikes and you actually need them to house your family and pets, they fail to deliver." Absolutely appalling, negligence by their loss manager.
I NOTE THE AA ARE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND TO MY REVIEW. I HAVE INSURED WITH THE AA NOW FOR OVER 60 YEARS. I AM A QUALIFIED SURVEYOR AND THERE PERFORMANCE DURING THIS WHOLE PROCES HAS BEEN CRIMINAL. IT IS PACKED WITH LIES WHICH THEY CONTINUE TO EXPRESS. THESE ARE THE DISHONEST RESPONSES FROM THEIR APPOINTED LOSS ADJUSTER WHO HAS DONE NOTHING TO SUPPORT ME THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE PROCESS, SIMPLY POINTING ME TO ESTATE AGENTS WHO NO PROPERTIES COMPLYING WITH THE AA'S RESTRICTIONS. THEY SAY THEY WILL PROVIDE ACCOMMADATION SIMILAR TO MY HOME (4 BED) I AM IN A BEDROOM WITH KITCHENETTE! THE ACCOMODATION THEY SAY THEY POINTED ME TO AND I WOULD NOT ACCEPT. IT WAS AN AIRBNB WITH REVIEWS REGISTERING THE BAD SMELL . I ASKED TO VIEW THE PROPERTY BUT THEY SAID THAT'S NOT ALLOWED WITH AIRBNB. AND THEIR WAS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THEM AND THE MAXIMUM STAY THE AA WOULD PERMIT IN AIRBNB WAS 2 MONTHS! THE 2ND PROPERTY WAS A 4 STORY TERRACED PROPERTY WITH A VERY NARROW STAIRCASE (2 WEEKS EARLIER I HAD TAKEN A FALL DOWN THE STAIRS AT HOME!) I AM NOW 77 YEARS OLD AND BEING INVESTIGATED FOR DEMENTIA & POP PARKINSONS SO HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. THE AA AREN'T INTERESTED. SO THE AA SAYING I TURNED DOWN THEIR SUGGESTIONS IS A LIE, I HAD LOOKED INTO OVER 150 PROPERTIES WITH DIFFERENT ESTATE AGENTS, UNAVAILABLE, NO LONGER ON THE MARKET, THE TENANT WOULDN'T VACATE, THE ESTATE AGENT DIDN'T TURN UP..... SIMILARLY AFTER SENDING AROUND 100 EMAILS TO THE LOSS ADJUSTER HE EITHER NEVER REPLIED, POINTED ME SOMEWHERE ELSE, SAID HE WASN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HOUSING MARKET. ALSO CYNICALLY POINTING ME TO PET INSURANCE (WHICH I DO NOT HAVE) WHEN MY PET COCKAPOO ,, (MY ONLY FAMILY) WAS STOLEN. THE AA SAY "WE'LL PROVIDE ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION SO YOUR FAMILY CAN STAY SAFE'. THEY WONT. THERE LOSS ADJUSTER WILL POINT YOU TO SOMEWHERE CHEAP AND UNSAFE AND TELL YOU TO FIND SOMEWHERE YOURSELF. I'm signing off now because this accommodation has no internet connection a WiFi only for a few minutes off and on, mostly off. Could have said an awful lot more but difficult, as I have to hang out the window to get just a few minutes of connectivity.
Think on this AA.
YOUR FUTURE LIES WITH PROVIDING A SERVICE (AS SET OUT IN THAT EARLIER COMMENT) FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS..... NOT IN HIDING BEHIND YOUR (LYING,SELF SERVING) LOSS ADJUSTERS.
I went to you over 60 years ago because my foster parent said you were an hourable Company, Not any more you're not.
