Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers report that their orders were never delivered, despite the tracking information on the website indicating successful delivery. People frequently mention issues with products not arriving and express concerns about the legitimacy of the entire transaction process, including the payment system. Reviewers often describe the website as having significant operational issues and express concerns about the reliability of its services, particularly regarding tracking updates. Some people were dissatisfied with the delivery service, stating that the tracking updates were inaccurate and that they never received their packages, even when the website claimed otherwise. However, some customers also noted that the tracking on the website was impressively precise, displaying every step of the shipment journey in detail, and that it helped them follow their parcel from dispatch to delivery without a hitch.

Very fake tracking number that looks real but isn't. They even fake incorrect states they are delivering to.
Packages never arrive. Originally I thought I was buying from Old Navy and L.L. Bean. But this was not the case. Never believe anything too good to be true.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand your frustration – you thought you were ordering from trusted brands like Old Navy and L.L. Bean, and instead you got a fake tracking number and no package. That's incredibly disappointing, and your warning to others is valuable.

**Let me clarify a critical point:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller**. We are not Old Navy, L.L. Bean, or any of the brands you thought you were buying from. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers.

The "very fake tracking number that looks real but isn't" was created by the **scammers** – the people running the fake website pretending to be Old Navy and L.L. Bean. They generated that number, they fed false updates into the system (including fake delivery locations), and they directed you to our site to make their scam look legitimate. We simply displayed what they gave us. We did not create it, verify it, or control it.

**You are absolutely right: "Never believe anything too good to be true."** That's the golden rule of online shopping. If a deal seems impossibly good, it probably is.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY.** Dispute the charge. Tell them you were scammed by a fake website impersonating Old Navy/L.L. Bean, that the tracking number was fake, and you never received your items.

2. **Report the fake websites** to the real Old Navy and L.L. Bean – they have teams dedicated to fighting counterfeiters and imposters.

3. **Report the scam** to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your review. You've perfectly described exactly how this scam operates. Your description is accurate: scammers create fake tracking that looks realistic, builds hope over days or weeks, and then finally shows "delivered" – with nothing ever arriving.

**Let me clarify a critical point:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the scammer**. We are the tool that scammers USE.

Here's what actually happens:
- A fraudulent website (the real scammer) takes your money
- They generate a fake tracking number and direct you to our site
- They feed false updates into our system ("in transit," "out for delivery," etc.)
- We simply display what they provide
- Weeks later, it shows "delivered" – but you receive nothing

**We do not create these fake details.** We do not verify them. We do not control them. We are like a phone company – if a scammer calls you, you don't blame the phone company. The phone is just a tool.

**The tracking looks realistic because scammers have learned exactly how to build false hope.** They know that detailed updates make you believe your package is real. This is all designed to buy time while your dispute window with your bank closes.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY.** Dispute the charge. Tell them the seller provided fake tracking and you never received your item.

2. **Report the seller** to consumer protection agencies in your country (like the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov in the US).

3. **If you found them through social media,** report their page or ad.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand your anger and frustration. Being scammed once is bad enough, but to have it happen twice with two different orders, both marked "delivered" when nothing arrived, is incredibly infuriating. You have every right to be furious.

**Let me clarify a critical point about who is responsible:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller** and **NOT the delivery company**. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers like you.

The "delivered" statuses you saw for both orders were information provided by the **sellers** – the websites where you made your purchases. They created those fake tracking numbers to make you believe your items were coming. We simply displayed what they gave us. We did not create it, verify it, or control it.

**You are absolutely right that these are scammers.** The sellers are the ones who took your money, provided fake tracking, and now have left you with nothing. They are the ones who should be held accountable.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY for BOTH orders.** Dispute both charges. Tell them you were scammed twice – the sellers provided fake tracking claiming delivery, but you never received anything. Your bank can initiate chargebacks to recover your money.

2. **Report both sellers** to consumer protection agencies in your country (like the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov in the US, or Action Fraud in the UK).

3. **If you found them through social media,** report their pages or ads to those platforms.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand your anger and frustration. The scenario you describe – a website disappearing after purchase, fake tracking updates, and finally a false "delivered" status – is a classic scam pattern. Your warning to others is valuable, and you have every right to be furious.

**Let me clarify a critical point that is central to your review:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller** and **NOT in collaboration with the fraudsters**. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers.

**Here is what actually happened:**

1. A fraudulent website (the one you purchased from) took your money.
2. To buy time and make the scam look credible, they generated a fake tracking number and directed you to our site.
3. They fed false updates into our system over several days to make you believe something was happening.
4. Finally, they marked it "delivered" to close the loop, hoping you would give up before disputing the charge.

**We are not their collaborator.** We are a tool they exploited, just like they exploited the platform where you found them, the payment system, and your trust. We receive no money from these scams – in fact, they damage our reputation.

**The website that disappeared is the real scammer.** That is who you should be most angry at.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY.** Dispute the charge. Tell them you were scammed by a website that has since disappeared, that the tracking was fake, and you never received your item. This is your best chance to recover your money.

2. **Report the scam** to consumer protection agencies in your country (like the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov in the US, or Action Fraud in the UK).

3. **If you remember how you found the site** (social media ad, search engine, etc.), report it to that platform.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your review. I completely understand your anger and frustration. You tried to contact us, we had the "audacity" to claim your package was delivered when it wasn't, and then we went silent. From your perspective, this is absolutely a 100% scam, and I don't blame you for feeling that way.

**However, I need to clarify a critical point that explains why this happened:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller**. We are not the company that took your money. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers like you.

**The "company" you tried to contact and that claimed delivery was the seller** – the website where you made your purchase. They are the ones who took your money, created a fake tracking number, and fed false information into our system. When that tracking number showed "delivered," they were the ones who generated that status. We simply displayed it.

**Your unsuccessful attempts to contact "this company" – you were likely trying to contact the seller, not us.** If you emailed us, our support team responds to all legitimate inquiries. But if you asked us where your package is, we couldn't give you a satisfactory answer because we don't have that information. We cannot locate a package that doesn't exist. The only people who can help you recover your money are your bank or payment provider.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY.** Dispute the charge. Tell them you were scammed – the seller provided fake tracking, claimed delivery without delivering, and is now unresponsive. This is your best chance to get your money back. The dispute window is often limited, so act now.

2. **Report the seller** to consumer protection agencies in your country (like the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov in the US, or Action Fraud in the UK).

3. **If you found them through social media,** report their page or ad to that platform.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing this information. I understand that you have taken a significant step by filing a report with the police, and I respect your decision to pursue this through official channels. It is important that all concerns are properly investigated.

**I need to clarify a fundamental point for the record:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller** and **NOT a scam operation**. We are a legitimate third-party tracking platform – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages.

**If you were scammed, the responsible party is the seller** – the website where you made your purchase. That seller created fake tracking information and directed you to our site to make their scheme look credible. We are simply the platform that displayed the information they provided.

**We fully support your police investigation** and hope it leads to the real criminals who took your money. If law enforcement requires any technical data or cooperation from us, we are prepared to assist through proper legal channels.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand your anger and confusion. Your question is absolutely valid: **"WTF is Instagram and Facebook doing allowing scammers to advertise?"** You clicked on what you thought was a real store, got redirected to a fake site, and ended up with fake tracking numbers. It's infuriating, and you deserve an honest explanation.

**Here's what's actually happening in this scam chain:**

1. **The Fake Ad:** Scammers create ads on Instagram/Facebook that look like they're from real brands. They use the logos, colors, and names of trusted companies. When you click, instead of going to the real store, a technical trick (sometimes called "cloaking") redirects you to their fake website. Meta (Instagram/Facebook's parent company) has systems to detect this, but scammers constantly evolve their methods to slip through. It's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game.

2. **The Fake Store:** The website you landed on (the scammer's site) took your money. This is the real criminal. They have no connection to the legitimate brand they impersonated.

3. **The Fake Tracking:** To make the scam look credible and buy time, they generated a fake tracking number and directed you to our site (or others like it). They fed false information into the system. **We are NOT the scammer.** We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that displays shipping information provided by sellers. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. Think of us like a phone company: if a scammer uses a phone to deceive you, you don't blame the phone company.

**Why doesn't Meta stop this?**

Meta removes millions of fake ads every year, but scammers are sophisticated. They use VPNs, fake accounts, and constantly change their methods. They also exploit the fact that Meta's ad review process, while extensive, cannot catch every single bad actor in real-time. You can help by **reporting the ad** directly through Instagram/Facebook's reporting tools.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY.** Dispute the charge. Tell them you were scammed by a fake website you reached through a misleading ad. This is your best chance to recover your money.
2. **Report the ad to Meta.** Use the "Report Ad" function on the platform. The more reports, the more pressure on them to act.
3. **Report the scam** to your country's consumer protection agency (like the FTC in the US at reportfraud.ftc.gov, or Action Fraud in the UK).

Reply from Track718一站式查询平台

Dear Customer,

Thank you for sharing your experience. Your attention to detail – noticing the misspelling of "address" as "addresse" – is actually a powerful observation. Legitimate companies with professional systems do not make such basic spelling errors. That small mistake is a significant red flag that confirms you are dealing with fraudsters.

**Let me clarify a critical point about who is responsible:**

TRACK718 is **NOT the seller**. We are not the company that took your money. We do not sell products, handle payments, or ship packages. We are a **third-party tracking platform** – a tool that collects shipping information from carriers and sellers and displays it for consumers like you.

The "delivered" status you saw on our site was information provided by the **seller** – the website where you made your purchase. They created that fake tracking number, they fed the false update into the system, and they are the ones who spelled "address" incorrectly. We simply displayed what they gave us. We did not create it, verify it, or control it.

**The 24-hour wait for a response from the seller is another classic scam tactic.** They use these delays to buy time. While you wait for their reply, your dispute window with your bank or payment provider may be closing. The goal is to keep you hoping and waiting until it's too late to get your money back.

**What you must do now:**

1. **Do NOT wait for the seller's response.** Contact your bank, credit card company, or PayPal IMMEDIATELY. Dispute the charge. Tell them:
- You ordered from a website that is now clearly fraudulent.
- The tracking provided was fake (point out the misspelling as evidence).
- You never received your item despite the false "delivered" status.
- The seller is using delay tactics (24-hour response times) to stall.

2. **Report the seller** to consumer protection agencies in your country (like the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov in the US, or Action Fraud in the UK).

3. **If you found them through social media,** report their page or ad to that platform.

If it's too good to be true then believe it's a sham

I placed order 12/5/24 and by Christmas they were going to re-send the package. (Same experience, told it was successfully delivered, told to check with my neighbors, told they notified USPS but would not tell me which delivery service they were using so I could investigate on my end. I'm now waiting for my refund! ha!). The length of this protest is commensurate with my embarrassment for having fallen for unbelievably too-good-to-be-true rock-bottom prices of a well-known internet retailer. Live and learn I guess.
