Avoid at all cost
Where to start the so called architect made a right mess of the kitchen drawing. Kitchen was delivered damaged which they replaced so that was the only good point although the damaged parts weren't wrapped like the rest of kitchen so no wonder it got damaged. I was told the appliciances would be delivered a couple of day after the kitchen was delivered a month later I was still waiting avoid at all cost customer service is also crap.
Fabulous Work
I have numerous properties that have all had kitchens installed by this company all varied in different sizes to different styles and I couldn't thank the staff enough for the turn out of them all. All my tenants are over the moon
So in love with my finished kitchen
So in love with my finished kitchen. Happy with my decision and can highly recommend
Very bad experience
Very bad experience, I won’t wish it to happen to my worst enemy
They sounded like the real deal but…
They sounded like the real deal but finished up a bad deal took us about 9 weeks to find out the breakfast bar we ordered had been discontinued so had to get something different from some where else to what we wanted. Would definitely not recommend them.
amazing outcome
recently been my mums 60th and was looking at renovating her kitchen completely so me and my wife put an enquiry on through the facebook page got a call two days later to arrange for a designer to come to my mums property we already had plans and measurements so instead they gave us an email to contact the sales department to quote us by email. email team was fast to quote us we just wanted to get a standard grey gloss which they stocked so we was happy to go ahead we placed the order and was able to have it all within three days later on that night we checked their reviews and was unsure after we made our decision we should of checked before hand but the order was already in we took the risk. had the drivers come on the friday knowing my mum wasn't going to be there the weekend and was shocked to receive all items in perfect condition after going through the order with the driver we was just missing the glass extractor. we were local to the company and collected it on the saturday spent the weekend fitting the kitchen myself and had to order some more plinth so was only that to complete. mum come back late sunday evening and was over the moon. finished the kitchen monday if i could upload pics i would proud of my work now the mrs is wanting one done
My kitchen is now complete
My kitchen is now complete! The two lads finished off for me easter sunday just before the kids are back to school. Happy with my complete kitchen! Couldn't thank the lads enough.
You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. Had a few issues but the outcome was worth it
Seemed all to good to be true
Seemed all to good to be true, such cheap deals and mad offers. Had a designer out who made my ideal kitchen for under £1500. Still to good to be true. When I received my ordered I had a few items missing at this point I wasn't happy and was doubting my decisions. I got straight on the phone to customer services, spoke to a male and female who was both sorting my situation. They had a d date for my items on the same day my fitters were coming which was convenient. My items arrived before my fitters did on the day. When complete I was buzzing with the outcome. Would recommend for all on budgets. My family and friends are also placing orders
We love our kitchen
We love our kitchen! I have no idea why we decided to buy a kitchen from Facebook but we made an enquiry and received a lovely reply outlining exactly what our deal was, how many cupboards and what appliances we were going to get with it so we went for it!Tony the designer came round and we ran through some ideas. He told us quite clearly that the electrics and gas were not included in the fitting and they don't take your old kitchen away. We agreed a date for delivery and made a date for the fitters to come. One part of the kitchen wasn't on the delivery so we arranged with the totally fabulous Suzanne for that to be sent and rearranged the fitters. Wow, those two boys were fabulous. They arrived at 8am prompt and worked tirelessly until the kitchen was completeat 5.30pm on the same day!!!!!! They really were amazing, they saved our tiles and the old kitchen was tidilly put in the back garden. We had a problem with the oven as the grill didn't work and phoned Suzanne who organised for another one to be sent which was in perfect working order. We absolutely love our high gloss white kitchen with marble effect worktops (who knew we were so on trend with marble) it's classic and timeless. The oven is beyond fabulous, I can't remember what make it is but it's the best I have ever had. It's not a Rolls Royce kitchen but it's not Rolls Royce money either, we love it, it's sleek and stylish and bloody good value for money!
Kitchen
Last year I made an order with this company as they had beaten all the other quotes I had looked into. They held my order for 5 months, I went ahead with my order early March this year. The delivery went ahead as planned, all that was missing was my appliances which I received the following day from a private courier. Throughout the end of March/beginning of April when I started instillation I come across a couple of missing items in which the customer service team rectified these issues via yodel within 48 hours. My kitchen is now complete and i'm happy with the outcome and I would recommend this company. A number of my friends/family are in the process of having their kitchens done with this same company
Cheap scam
Cheap scam, avoid!!!
I should have read these reviews before ordering from this company!!!
First, this 'designer' (Elvis) demands £250 to be paid before he leaves my premises. Then i get incomplete units delivered, which i pay in full. I should have checked on delivery - my fault! However, chased for weeks and everytime I call the company they tell me 'customer services' will call me back. Finally I had to pay an extra charge for the missing units because 'they had been delivered' and even insinuated that maybe my builders stole them!. I was lucky not to have enlisted their fitting services...
At first, Elvis was helpful in chasing them and providing me information about expected delivery of the missing units. Every single delivery date that was promised was missed, I even took a day off work just to wait for a delivery that never came. When I had chased Elvis too hard, he turned against me and accused me of exaggerating the issue.
Finally when the missing units came, there were no bolts, the measurements were wrong and the colour was different from the first set of units delivered. In the end, I have an incomplete kitchen with different shades of white!! Avoid!!
Terrible experience
All in all, stay well clear from this company, from all these previous negative feedback, they will just continue to fraud customers and give unexplained dates of when the kitchen will be fitted and you will end up wasting your time. With so many sister companies, they will just continue their business.
Background story: We were looking for refurbishing our kitchen and this company came by online, so I thought I would try it out. First the "architect" comes to my house and takes measurements. He requests £200 pounds before he leaves the house. The guy claimed that the fitters will come the very next day the kitchen cabinets, and appliances arrive. We're like okay, that's fine. Then he says that "we" (the customers) are in control of when the kitchen is delivered and fitted. Me and my wife were planning to do the job late January or around February after we come back from holiday.
A couple of weeks we get no phone calls then out of the blue I get a phone call on the 18/12/2018 saying that the driver has our cabinets etc. and is around my area and that if we'd want they can come and deliver it to my house the next day. So, I thought its fine to have it delivered and fitted before we go on a holiday. Then on the next day they come and deliver the items. They request full money! Now keep this in mind there were so many cabinets etc. I didn't count them all which I do believe is my fault, I should have counted all the cabinets and the wall units however, I didn't. I paid the full £1930 to their sister company I believe is called "Smart Appliances LTD". Also, the extractor fan and oven had not yet come and came 2-3 days later.
Now keeping in mind what the "architect" had said about having the kitchen fitted the next day or a couple of days later the items being arrived they told us that the fitters will come on Friday 21/12/18. However, they don't turn up, I called the office so many times, the staff are perplexed and don't even know what is going on and we get told that there were some problems with sourcing the fitters and that they will come next Friday. We thought okay it happens, maybe it was some genuine mistake on their side. Then comes the next Friday, WE WERE SO EXCITED THAT I REMOVED THE EXISITING CABINETS AND DRAWERS SO THAT THE FITTERS HAVE MORE TIME TO QUICKLY FINISH OFF THE WORK.
The Friday arrived! And as Expected… Their Fitter DID NOT SHOW UP. Me being frustrated, my Son’s wedding around the corner, my living room LOADED with the appliances… I immediately range up for local fitters who were MUCH BETTER (not an exaggeration) and had more communication skills keeping in mind that they were Romanian, and English was not their first language. They fitted the floor tiles and progressed to assemble the bottom cabinets only to find out that we have 5 wall cabinets missing and the corner was badly designed by the architect, whom we paid £200 for his ‘excellent designing’. As expected, rang the office to ask what on earth is going on. And the same ‘rude lady’ (should have asked for her name) says that they knew that there were 5 cabinets missing and yet to be delivered but surprisingly they do not know when it will be delivered ironically. Also, they were the one also to tell us that we should feel free to hire our own fitters, we are not obliged to use their fitter.
Now it’s the new year, and I get a message from their original fitter (Kenny) who had not come and asks me if I had found a fitter. He had a ‘valid reason’ for not turning up. His sister had passed away. At first his story was very convincing, but reading all the comments below, I now don’t buy his lies. I then told him that we had 5 missing wall units and turns out this person knows more about our order than the staff at their AMAZING OFFICE. He had copies of our plan for the kitchen and TradePriceKitchens had hired him to go and get the 5 missing cabinets however they were unavailable until I told him that half the work has been done by my Romanian fitters. Now to see his reaction I wanted to hire him to fit the kitchens and I said that most of the work is done by the Romanian guys and now he would have to come and finish off the Job. I asked him for the revised quote from £960 to £800. At first, I said that is too high and then he says he can't do anything and asks me to call up the office indirectly saying that the office doesn't know anything leaving us without the four cabinets without him. Then, I decided to go with him, and he comes on the 4th Jan 2019. After the whole day goes by, he asks for his payment of £800 and very convincingly telling us how he's going to get all this fixed because he knows how badly the company played with us. So we BELIEVED HIM, again. Because he was the only source that gave us some sort of info in regards to our kitchen. So he said he’ll come back next time and work for the remaining cabinets for free and charge the company for his labour.
Today, as I write this comment… It is the 12th of February 2019. And we STILL do not have our missing cabinets. Every call to the office, I get a message from the receptionist that the ‘Customer Services’ will call me back. They are still calling me… I have nothing more to say but it was a major disappointment. My whole living room looks like garbage of cabinets and so on. My house was suppose to be ready for a wedding… But looks like a total mess.
Avoid at all cost! Cowboys of the lowest order!!!
Avoid this company as if they had the plague. 0 stars out of 5 would be more appropriate. This is possible the worst company I have ever dealt with. We ordered new doors, end panels etc to modernise our existing kitchen and a new kitchen for our daughter from this bunch of cowboys. Our kitchen and appliances turned up and the first thing I noticed was the brand these appliances wasn’t what we ordered. A cheap brand from turkey or China. We were promised end of line but leading brand appliances. I called their head office and was told that at no point were we promised branded goods. Their salesman, two ladies at their head office all promised this is what we would receive. Whilst on the phone to their head office the fitter was explaining to me that the end panels couldn’t be fitted without chopping our wall units to pieces. Obviously I wasn’t happy about this. Then I noticed all the end panels were a flat matt finish and we’d ordered gloss. There attitude was, that’s what you’ve got and you’ll have lump it. I called a solicitor who advised me that I’ve they didn’t agree to take back the kitchen and appliances we’d have to go to the small claims court but she was confident we’d win. The real bummer is we couldn’t cancel the kitchen for our daughter because that would be treated as a separate order. Last week the kitchen was meant to be delivered on Thursday. We had a day off work and waited all day for delivery and no show. My wife called them several times as we were told the fitter would be with us at 8am on Friday. Then we finally got a call from the delivery driver gone 9am. So the delivery was rescheduled to Friday. Again no show. Another day wasted. We finally got a call 9.25pm saying the delivery would be Saturday 8am. The fitter was meant to be with us Saturday morning. No show. Again I phoned their head office was told he’d be with us that day and they still claimed he’d be with us, this was mid afternoon. I finally got a call from the fitter in the afternoon. He explained that he only found out about the job on Thursday and it was booked in on Sunday. So another lie. He said he’d be with us on Sunday morning at 9-9.30am. 9.45am no show, so I called the fitter. He then said he was getting his stuff together and he’d be with us at midday!!! Midday no show. Called him at 12.50pm no answer. Text him, no response. Then at 4.46pm I got a text message from the fitter saying he was sorry but he’d been pulled over by the police for having no insurance on his van. Also attached was a picture of a police car and a van being loaded onto a truck. It was a very apologetic message but still what a total mess and a joke. Today after arguing with trade price kitchens we got most of our money back on our kitchen after threatening them with court. During that particular conversation we were asked when we wanted our daughters kitchen fitted. The lady on the phone was arguing with me when I told her what had happened with the fitter, saying no fitter had been booked for the job. This the same company that had told us the fitter would be with us Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I then told her I what happened she called me a liar. I told her that thankfully I didn’t need a fitter. Luckily a my wife’s cousin has stepped with our son and they are now fitting the kitchen. Tonight my wife’s cousin text her a message and picture. All the doors and panel were rapped in bubble wrap but one wasn’t. On the packaging it had B&Q. I promise you I could not make all this up if I tried. STAY AWAY FROM TRADE PRICE KITCHENS THEY ARE A BUNCH OF COWBOYS!!!
4 months on and still incomplete kitchen
If I could give no Stars I would... why?? 4 months down the line and still an incomplete kitchen.
Made numerous calls to the fitter (Kelly) no replies or answer, also when calling TradePriceKitchens and speaking to many different people including management I get no where with them. They are rude and do not seem to correspond with me at all.
They tell me It’ll get done when the fitter has time to come down to my location.
I have paid for the kitchen in full and still have units and panels left in my kitchen in boxes and bubble wrap yet to be fitted.
Worst experience and poor customer service.
Incomplete kitchen - poor customer service
Same situation as two coment below from Fatima, at the start, they offered me the service I thought I was going to get with high standard quality! We have been forced by them to pay in full price on the delivery date ! the salesman told me, my kitchen would be complete within 7 days and we tought it was, they also send fitter to us but we was suspecting that there is something missing and we asked him to reshedule fitting date, then we taken our own fitter who counted all cabinets, hinges etc... once he finished we realized that there is still 30-40% of our kitchen missing !
We called then nearly every day, our phone calls are ignored as they know my munber, but once use other number and they picking up then conversation ending nowhere just promissing ! Letters that we sending are rejected and going back to us as UNKNOWN ADDRESS or COMPANY! It seems like they know very well what they doing, they know they cannot afford items that they selling to the customers !
why we choosen this company was all about price and time of realisation ! I its not to late for you please avoid to buy anything from them as you will stay withouth kitchen for Xmas !
They got money from me and thats it, they dont care about the rest !
Fabulous service
Fabulous service, fabulous quality!
I have to admit I was a little sceptical at first after receiving my quote that was nearly £600 lower than the same quote I had from Howdens, but I decided to give these guys a try anyway and I am so glad I did.
I received my delivery within 2 weeks from ordering and I have to admit the quality was far better than I imagined. Apart from missing handles and a shortage of hinges everything else I couldn't be happier with.
I spoke with Martin (customer services) who has arranged for the missing goods to be sent to me on courier. Thank you Trade Price Kitchens.
