I cannot say enough good things about working with Shawn! My file ended up having some hiccups I didn't foresee and Shawn was encouraging and professional throughout the entire process. My refinance closed without a hitch and very favourable conditions. I made the mistake once of shopping around and I won't do that again. Anytime I have mortgage needs it's Shawn I'd call. I never knew getting a mortgage could be so straight forward. A big thanks to Robert Dang for getting me a better rate than what the banks were offering and also to Nidhi A. for assisting me through the entire process with the documentation. Not to mention that they got the signature electronically, so I didn't have to step out of my house at all for the mortgage.

Paul Hernandez really went above and beyond the spectrum in helping us get approved. He was very trustworthy, and transparent in his good intentions in helping us re new our mortgage. It was a big decision on our part, but the process was smooth and hassle free. Paul always was there for us and was on top of the situation. He was quick to email us, and always had updates for us when we needed them. It was reassuring to us to know how things were going at the end of each day and before the weekends came, which really helped us not worry about things. Once we had all our paperwork in and the approval was set in place it went very fast all the way through to the lawyer side of things. At every step we had full trust in Paul and True North. They were professional, courteous, and we never once had second thoughts about reaching out to them. I highly recommend working with them and also working with Paul Hernandez.

Can't emphasize enough the incredible support and commitment to seeing our house purchase through that we experience from Sean Arshad The entire process. I sold my house and bought my house within a fairly short window and there was numerous complications along the way that Sean dealt with with professionalism, knowledge and a can-do attitude. He even took it on himself to get a final document that I needed for financing dealing with a bit of a precarious situation that I am forever in his gratitude for. I don't think we would have gotten our house if we hadn't gone with him and can't recommend him enough.

My husband and I have owned 5 homes, 2 of which have been through True North. The broker we dealt with this time - Jacky Cheong blew every other bank and broker out of the water. Instant email responses on holidays, after hours and weekends! No days of waiting to hear back from your traditional bank or credit union. Process was super fast which we appreciate and Jacky really knows his stuff. Highly recommend saving yourself the hassle, time, and money due to a higher rate. Just call True North first.

The broker I dealt with is Jaspreet Kaur. Fantastic!
I was going through a nightmare trying to renew with my previous bank and Jaspreet in two days had me a new mortgage plus extra cash with a major Canadian bank. Jaspreet kept me up to speed almost everyday and sometimes 2-3 times in a day. Even after closing she was in contact to make sure everything was going according to plan. Cant thank her enough. This is my second mortgage with True North and I highly recommend this company in particular Jaspreet Kaur

I wanted to remortgage and tap into some of the equity in my home to pay off some debt and to have room for a few significant renos. I searched the internet for a Mortgage Broker because I wanted someone to shop around for me which is one of the obvious reasons to have a brokerage represent you. Well little did I know just how smart that decision was because Elizabeth Hewes from True North Mortgage took the reins immediately and first off made me feel comfortable with having a broker versus dealing with the Bank's representatives. I sat back and took a few basic instructions - like what I was looking for and to provide the list of documents required for any Mortgage Refinance. Elizabeth was very organized and was very communicative keeping me up to date when it mattered and she answered all my questions promptly. I was nervous about remortgaging but having that skill and communication and experience there at every step of the way made me feel at ease. Elizabeth worked hard and looked after my best interests in dealing with all the possible lenders and recommended the one that would preserve and improve my already very good credit rating. She found a lender that came perfectly close to lending me what I needed! Elizabeth also helped me with running some calculations on how much my new mortgage would cost me over the length of my Mortgage so I could make sure I had lots of equity left when the time might come to sell my property. She is an amazing lady - a real leader in her field and just so personable. I am glad that I went through the list of brokers and found her. I will always use her in the future if I need to remortgage again or for other real estate acquisitions.
