BUYER BEWARE – MISLEADING, DISHONEST AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is utterly misleading. The product I received was not as described in any meaningful way. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos, and the description is, frankly, deceptive. I feel genuinely misled into buying something that does not resemble what was advertised at all.

To make matters worse, although the company presents itself as shipping from the UK, the returns address is in Canada. That means you are expected to pay international return shipping at your own expense just to get a refund. This was not made clear at the point of purchase and only surfaced once I tried to return the item. Completely unacceptable.

Customer service was entirely unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the issue. Despite the product being misrepresented, they refused to issue a refund. I ultimately had no choice but to go through my bank and raise a chargeback.

The returns policy appears deliberately buried and unclear, and I strongly suspect it does not comply with consumer law. At best it is misleading; at worst, it is unlawful.

I would 100% not recommend shopping with this company. Learn from my mistake. Do not buy from them. Heed this warning.

Company asked me to return my item to Canada despite their website saying to return items to an address in Spain.

Received handbag i ordered 17 days ago after original purchase of £28. Wasn't happy overall with size of bag and small handles. Wanted to return but got 2 options 10% off price coming to £2.80 wow! And 50% off any future purchase or return to Canada! and postage would be between £20 to £80 therefore chose to keep handbag.

I ordered a bag went it arrived it was nothing like the bag advertised it was made of cheap material. Its false advertising looked cheap and not worth the money. I feel I have been scammed I was told I would have to pay for the return of the bag. So had no choice but to keep the bag which I will not use and will be put in refuse bin.

Also bought the ‘stained glass’ effect birds ornament. Arrived today but once opened it was nothing like the item advertised on their website. It’s nasty cardboard/plastic rubbish! Again, like other people that have bought things, you have to return it to Canada costing more than what the item is worth. I will never buy from this company again!

I ordered what was stated to be a beautiful stained glass ornament. It arrived very late and was neither beautiful nor glass. A tiny piece of PLASTIC rubbish which went straight into the bin. I’m so annoyed with myself for being duped and ripped off.

I ordered an item 0n 2nd of December last year and still not recieved. Bowlift says carrier has not picked up and carrier company says not received yet. So I am not sure whose fault it is. I can not eevn cancel the order. I am frustrated what to do ?

Ordered from this company without realising it was based overseas. Delivery was unclear and communication was poor throughout. After reading further reviews, it became obvious this is a recurring issue for many customers.

I requested a refund shortly after purchase and thankfully was able to resolve it via PayPal, but the overall experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

I would strongly recommend reading reviews carefully before ordering and exercising caution when dealing with this company.

I ordered a small soft toy which mistakenly thought was a JellyCat, I tried to cancel 30mins after ordering and was told it was too late, but could return and refund later. Upon receiving said toy it looks nothing like the photo and the quality isn’t just bad it’s terrible. I requested a refund and was given the below options.

Option 1: Partial Refund + Voucher (Keep the Item)

Receive a 10% refund (£2.40) to your original payment method
Plus a 50% voucher (£12.00) for a future purchase
You keep the product

Option 2: Return for Full Refund (At Your Expense)
Return the item to our international warehouse in Canada at your own shipping expense
Once we receive and verify the item, you'll receive a 100% refund (£24.00)
Please note: return shipping costs are typically £20–£80, and customs fees may apply

The toy will be going in the rubbish as I wouldn’t even give it to the dog.

Rip off company

Awful. Company did not despatch what I ordered and they don’t send you the actual order via email, just a link that once clicked, shows you what the want to show you. They ripped me off sending one item of 4 that were ordered and paid for, the made the return process extremely difficult and expensive, requiring shipping to Canada within 14 days. I would never use this company again, avoid them like the plague.

Item delivered late, then worked for 10 minutes, company refused refund saying they only had a 14 day return policy. The item was a van heater for an Xmas present so the 14 day return is a joke, plus the heater was not fit for purpose.

Never got my item delivered for Christmas, it’s a scam!

I bought a supposedly robot puppy toy. It cost me £34 (reduced price)
It took over two weeks to get here, what a load of crap.Iy just goes round in circles after fitting 2 batteries, yap yap yapping.
While in Limassol I visited Jumbo store and there was stacks of puppies exactly the same as mine for 5 Euros = £4.50. I was robbed.

Ordered a pair of heated gloves from this joke of a company
They sent me a pair of gloves with no on off button and no instructions and not the same pair as advertised on there website for 66 pound
Also they do not work , so I asked for a full refund only to be told the 14 day refund policy had expired
I explained that by law for faulty goods you have 30 days to return faulty goods but they seem to think they don’t have to do that
They then offered me 50 % refund but only on future purchases and I can keep the item
I thought this was some kind of joke why would I want to keep something that does not work?
Anyway just note to any one thinking of buying anything from this company don’t do it they are scammers send you faulty or different items and then won’t return your money but offer you half refund but on future purchases so please everyone do not buy from this scamming company

This company is terrible! The products are of very poor quality and you need to return at your own cost to Canada. Delivery was late. Do not use them!

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered a piece of leather. I was then informed it wasn’t in stock. I asked for a refund which they said they couldn’t do as it had been processed for delivery even though it wasn’t in stock. A complete scam company exhibiting criminal behaviour. Avoid!

I order heated gloves with UsB port etc.
£45 . Order arrived. Ordinary gloves!!
I look at email to find no proper receipt.
No place to return them. Contacted Bowlift and no customer no matches mine. I used Trustpilot thinking this was ok.
This scam seems to be from Las Palmas .

Ordered item described as marble coasters, 1 white, 1 black set.
The black set arrived, obviously not marble. Asked for a refund on the white marble coasters, now Bowlift are quibbling over the refund 'tho they haven't even been sent. False description on item, now that's disappeated off their website. Will never buy anything from them again.

COMPARE TEMU PRICES BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY,
Paid £26 for a item that is not fit for purpose,, poor quality and did not match description, I have since found out that the exact same item can be bought from Temu for £2.50, in fact bowlift.com are using Temu photos on their website, yes they have offered a refund which would cost me £25 postage as it is not a UK company

Absolutely awful service and never received the goods and still fighting for a refund. Excuse after excuse and pretending that alternative items were being sent instead (which never were). Constant auto or AI generated responses. Stay clear at all costs!!
