The manager, Minnie, is also really nice and approachable. I asked to see her when I first came in, and although she wasn’t on the shop floor at the time, she kindly came out to speak with me. I told her how happy I was to have this store locally….it’s such a beautiful space and really well laid out.
I’ve been shopping with Space NK for over 15 years, mainly in Kensington, but I’m really happy to now have Watford as my local store. The staff are great and it’s just a really nice, welcoming place to shop.

I placed an order on 29 May and am still waiting for it to arrive. Communications are awful, no online presence you can get through to. Just ratio silence. From reading on Reddit, they moved to a new delivery warehouse in Mid May and have been having problems ever since. Didn't stop taking orders despite awful known problems.

23 DAYS awaiting my order and still hasn't been dispatched. I have sent several emails and keep receiving generated responses blaming the distribution centre system.
Fair enough if they've upgraded systems you would expect teething problems but over 3 weeks waiting is just bad form. Im awaiting this order for my holidays looks like its not gona arrive on time now. So frustrating and disappointing.

Placed my order over two weeks ago and I am still being told they are having technical problems and keep getting the same copy and paste response from customer service, saying it’ll be dispatched soon. No apology, no offer of a voucher or anything. I will never be shopping with them again. And all they seem to care about is what ‘tier’ or level your account is- like that matters? You’ve taken my money and I have nothing to show for it. Terrible company.

I placed an order on May 22 for my Granddaughters birthday on June 2, having been quoted 3/5 working days for delivery. It arrived after 9 working days missing her birthday. Apparently they had issues with their despatch department but failed to inform me at the time of placing the order even though they were aware of the delays giving me the option not to place the order. Clearly gaining the order was more important than customer satisfaction!
I only found out several days later that there was a delay. Truly truly awful service & company!!
Delays / unfulfilled orders without communication
I have been a loyal Space NK customer for 12+ years, but will not be ordering from them going forward. I placed an order 20th May for a friend’s birthday present to be sent directly to her. At checkout, I was advised that orders could take 3-5 working days. 6 working days later I was notified that part of my order had been dispatched and was delivered 3 days later. My friend is still waiting for the rest of the order and her birthday has now passed. Space NK have sent automated responses to my queries advising of a warehouse upgrade causing the issue but are still maintaining 3-5 working day timeframe (long since passed), with no better estimate. I feel awful that I can’t give my friend an ETA for her birthday present. I understand issues and delays occur, but this was clearly a known / plan ex issue and I wasn’t clearly notified at the time of purchase, nor notified when it became apparent my order was not going to meet it’s communicated SLA.
V disappointing service, no order delivered and no refund either
I ordered something a few weeks ago, at checkout it said 2-4 days delivery. But when it hadn’t come after a week I was told it was a “factory upgrade” affecting orders.
I asked if I could cancel the order, as I needed them in time for my daughter’s birthday, or if I could just pick them up from the local Space NK store. I was told no. Eventually, after her birthday passed (and I bought the products from much more reliable Boots) they did cancel the order and I was told “You’ll receive a refund confirmation immediately after this email”. That was a week ago, no refund, and no email either. I’ve asked them where my refund is and 3 times the reply has been “Your order has been cancelled. We are having problems with our automated email system”. I’ve asked if they have issued a refund and they have ignored me.
It’s completely ridiculous that they can’t send products out in time, and then can’t even issue a refund. This is a premium shop, they should do better and they still have my money and have completely ghosted me!

They (SpaceNK/Global-e) take the money immediately, before anything is actually dispatched.
That is not how serious online retailers operate. Normally a card is authorised first, and payment is captured only when the order is ready to ship. Here, customers are charged upfront, then left with vague mass emails, no real customer service, no working cancellation route, and no clear refund process.
This is no longer just a “delay”. A delay is when a company still communicates, still lets customers cancel, and still behaves as if the customer’s money belongs to the customer until the goods are sent.
When a retailer takes payment at once, does not dispatch, closes effective communication channels, and keeps sending generic explanations, customers are entitled to wonder whether the problem is really operational — or something else.
I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering to think very carefully before giving them access to your money.

I placed an order over 3 weeks ago after being told delivery would take 2–5 working days. Nearly a month later my order has still not been dispatched.
I have contacted customer service multiple times and have received what appears to be the same generic response each time, stating that the company is implementing a new system and that orders are delayed.
I would be very hesitant to order from this retailer again. Taking peoples money and saying they can’t deliver on time, yet influencers having no problem with their pr. Simply a joke.

Extremely disappointing experience with Space NK.
Not only were two of my orders cancelled consecutively, but as a result of those cancellations I also lost access to my birthday reward. The most frustrating part is that this happened through no fault of my own. I placed valid orders, they were accepted, and then cancelled by Space NK without my consent.
Had either order been fulfilled as expected, I would have been able to redeem my birthday gift. Instead, I was left without my orders and without a loyalty benefit that I had earned as a customer.
What disappoints me most is the lack of consideration for customers affected by these cancellations. A loyalty programme should reward customers, not penalise them for issues caused by the retailer.
I expect better from a company positioning itself as a premium beauty retailer. After this experience, I am reluctant to place future orders and cannot recommend Space NK to others.
